In some regions of Africa, a form of Islam developed that incorporated elements of traditional African beliefs and practices. Additionally, there are photos of Pastor Manning posing with other Alpha Phi Alpha members, which reinforce this claim. Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity was founded by five students at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Yet why would Pastor Manning who is a member of alpha phi alpha fraternity founded by homosexuals have such disparaging words about homosexuality and homosexuals? Is this hypocritical or an agenda? The perspective is a valid one. It is indeed puzzling that Pastor Manning, a member of a fraternity with a history of accepting LGBTQ members and founded by homosexuals, holds strongly anti-gay views. This contradiction between his stance and the values of the fraternity he's part of creates a puzzling situation. This disparity raises questions about his motives and intentions behind his anti-gay rhetoric, particularly given his membership in an organization that has historically had ties to the LGBTQ community. Especially noting that others who have renounced and denounced Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity based upon similar differences.
