BREAKING: Appeal Court Clears APC To Participate In Bayelsa Governorship Election*

A Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has cleared the All Progressives Congress (APC) to participate in Saturday's Governorship Election in Bayelsa State.

The Appeal Court made the following orders:

The appellate court also cleared the APC Deputy Gov candidate, Senator Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo for the November 16 election.
This followed Thursday's stay of execution granted by the Appeal Court on a High Court order disqualifying the APC Deputy Governorship candidate

The appeal court ruled That the status quo ante bellum which existed on or before the 19th September, 2019 when the suit was filed be maintained pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice.

3. The Motion on Notice to be heard on 20th November, 2019 and the Respondents to be served with the Motion on Notice and and copy of the Court Order.

The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Court 12 sitting at Bwari dismissed the case filed by Busola Dakolo and exonerated Fatoyinbo.

This came after Fatoyinbo filed an Objection and an affidavit at the Court reiterating that Busola’s statements were false and concocted to embarrass, scandalise and ridicule Fatoyinbo. He averred that from the inception she sought the attention of the media and press, and brought the civil action even while the Police investigation was ongoing. Her false claim were stale and an abuse of judicial process.
The court held that the matter amounts to injustice, and an abuse of judicial process and held that the case is purely sentimental, empty. The court awarded costs of N1,000,000 against Busola Dakolo and held that it would have been 10 times more but resisted it because there are women with legitimate claims who may approach the court. The Court held that the case carries more of cruelty in them than justice.

In contemporary times I regularly did 140 on 3rd mainland to my office every 5 am morning from my residence at Ikeja out of sheer frustration.

These days age has instinctively restricted my speed to 120. The only place in Abuja you can do that or more is on the Airport road non rush hour. I will like to do more but I just don't trust tyres anymore no matter who makes them.

it's a shame how hold up appears on the abuja airport road , back then it used to be an emergency high way , government officials do 200+ and the cars disappears before you know Awolowo, now it's a night mare

don't know about abuja to ph but back in 2002-2003 we hit 240 255 on the dash on abuja airport road , lost 2 friends before I came to me senses that speed kills, it might not be possible on other roads or its a death wish
