1)All educated youth in Nigeria are aware...
Name two states or region with educated, Liberal, intelligent, enlightened and exposed people
Definitely it will be lagos and Abuja right!
And obi won those states
2) the three major contestants were from the three major region...atiku(hausa), tinubu( yoruba), obi(igbo)
So the South South were in a better position to choose because no one among the contestants were their brother....and guess what the South South chose obi
3) osun state is the home of tinubu and yet tinubu lose am because osun state is some how seen as the most educated place in South west...which means tinubu is not even supposed to be among the contestants..not to talk of becoming the president
So if you are a Nigerian youth and you can't figure out this simple truth then your education is a total waste and you need to collect your school fees from any tertiary institution you finished from...hold your head in shame

Ss have a lot of igbo speaking areas who voted for Obi
Some Ss voted for all parties


Also, most Northern states voted for Tinubu who is Yoruba


Lagos votes was shared almost equally
So Tinubu was recognized by "educated, Liberal, intelligent, enlightened and exposed people"

Depends on what the indigenes of those states call themselves

The majority of Rivers people don't identify as Igbos, same with other southern states.
Rivers are diverse - Ogoni, Kalabari, etc.

Ilorin and majority of Kwara people identify as Yoruba and are Yorubas.

He did not get Nobel price because he was the best in Nigerian Literature but chiefly because of his peace moves back then during the war that landed him in prison.
When Alfred Noble created the price, peace was his key word.
Osten Sjostrand was also a key factor. He lobbied for him severally back then and even translated his book into Swendish.

Winning a Nobel prize in any field shows you are the best in that field, medicine, physics, literature, chemistry, peace, etc

Never said that. No group or subgroup in Nigeria is better than us in all aspects of life. That said, some can outperform us in some aspects of it. For clarity purposes, we look forward to catching up with Anambra, Abia, and Imo States in primary and post primary education. These states have consistently done well. Regardless, Edo is still better than 30 states in the federation in education.

Funny that the same era when JAMB scores are high is also when very low scores are allowed to qualify for admission into institutions.

In the mid-1990s and early 2000s, you score below 260 and you know you have messed up.

Now people celebrate scores as low as 190 because they somehow know it would not prevent a University admission.

The proliferation of both public and private universities all over Nigeria has also made admission easier.

Only very few have that high score

In my secondary school during early 2000's in one of the schools in the east, the overall first position was usually a young boy from Adamawa state.

Each term he takes the position; he was simply undisputed and he's been till today celebrated in that school.

What puzzled everyone even our parents back home was the young man doesn't speak Igbo; understands little Igbo and his igbo scores are somewhat low but he uses other subjects to capitalize.

With this, I still believe there are bright brains in the north though their numbers might be few...
