I got mine three years ago from my state's Liason office located at Victoria-Island, Lagos. There are liason offices for various states located in Lagos-Island. If u reside in Lagos, u could consult google for the exact address. Hope this helps? |

As each day brings us closer to the resumption date, I implore us to start preparing ourselves psychologically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally for the great task ahead. We all seek academic excellence and many even crave for first class; I must confess, that being a first class graduate is beyond " mere" words! It takes unwavering determination, God's grace and focus. May God's spirit be with us always! Love you all! |

ajayioluwatobi: Am oluwatobi. an undergraduate at unilag studying building tech/construction.I'm applying to study building in Unilag via direct entry this year. What level are you in? |
Feels good to be here, where those in practice and those aspiring to be builders can relate with the sole, aim of sharing and learning new things about the built environment. I fall in the category of "aspiring builders". Having completed my ND in a federal polytechnic, I'm undergoing a 1yr Industrial training in a building construction company at the moment. Still finding it difficult to strike a balance between field experience and classroom experience. While I did well in the classroom (God's grace), I've not been doing too well on site practice. Could it be because of my being a newbie in field practice? @ op, kudos to you for opening this thread |
Cutesthunk: any building engineering aspirant here?Yes there is! I am aspiring for BUILDING, but via direct entry. Nice having u here! Wishing everyone SUCCESS! |
Tomstick: Plz Do DE candidate take any exam before dey can be pickNo exams for DE applicants. If u've not submitted ur credentials in Unilag, pls do so ASAP. Wishing us success! |
dafoly: #justnewhere# wat's d procedure 4 direct entry aspirants dis year. Pls, i nid urgent reply.Having purchased the direct entry scratch card, completed the online registration and submission of your credentials to any of the JAMB offices; go to Unilag's senate house(direct entry section) and submit same copies of the credentials you submitted to JAMB. Ur credentials should comprise: 1) Ur DE registration slip 2) Ur O'level result 3) Ur statement of result from the school u are applying from It is also important to note that Unilag must be chosen as ur first choice of institution. I'm sorry the response to your question is coming rather late. Wishing everyone success! CHEERS! |

Anyway, I was told(from a very reliable source) that the direct entry applicants wldn't take part in the post utme exam and dat transcripts can still be fowarded even in the month of August. A deserving salute to you all! |

ceasare: @valiant u r welcome.if u r a tech savvy person gt u hands on softwares and practice at ur leisure they r gud money earners.show people ur portfolio of wotk n u will be amazed ow much u can make even as a student.u might want 2 check STAADPRO,HYSIS PDMS for structural detailing, chief architect interior designs, autocad for drafting,etc.PRINCE2,primavera for project mgt etc.I go for autoCAD trainings for 2D and 3D on weekends and I'm getting along very well with it. Can a student enroll for PMP, PRINCE 2, et al? |
ceasare: Niob formulate n regulate building practice n its practitioners in nigeria.hope u r gaining xperience frm ur IT hs it will go a long way when u leave school as its a diff ball game on d field.what u learnt in class n what u pick on d field will mk u a well grounded builder.u r frm wch schl?hope d class drills r not 2 rigorous as thats d hallmark of all building dept in all uni or poly in nigeria trust me.I had my ND in fed poly ilaro bt I'm pressing 4 a direct entry into Unilag this year(I pray it works out). I found it easier to scale through the rigours of school drills than I'm finding it in field practice. By the grace of Almighty God, I graduated with a distinction last year bt I get demoralized by the fact that I'm not savvy in field practice. What would you advice a building student who is more theoretically inclined dan practical? Thank u so much sir for lifting our spirits. God bless! |
Someone mentioned three here but i printed out just two(the original and duplicate copy). I need an urgent answer please
