But this is my truth, i think Mr Onnyx has gotten a rewire that helped fix his car, but still chose to slander me on my thread like he threatened he would. Part Seller and money Collected are 5&6. You can never see a seller at Ladipo returning buyer's money like transmission gear of 500K in full. I know you want to drag the man into your shop area and do that yeye play. Refunding his money at your shop is a BIG LIE, but trap for your next move.
If you are serious and you know your part is Good, meet at an agree location for inspection of your gear, deduct money for any damage notice on gear and transport fee to your shop and pay him the balance.

Mr Calculation Your statements are just ridiculous, what are my going to do to him, anyways i asked him to send the gear because i knw its current price as of today, taking the gear of his hands and refunding him is not an issue if all seems right with my gearbox

Secondly, Mr Onnyx never came to my shop, i waybilled the gear to him at Ogun state, i never asked him come pls read my previous posts on this. He can simply send the gear and i will inspect it and refund him if all seems well with the gear.

Lastly, if he claims i sold him a bad gear and he had to buy another one, he should bring the bad gear and i will refund him his money in full. If he can’t do that he should simply shut his lies and defamations

Recall that we have evidences we can draw on. I have WhatsApp mesasages which we will bring here at the right time. Call logs and also transfer evidences abound. Let's leave that aside and deal with the issues you have raised.

1. First and foremost, recall that you chose the mechanic to come and install the gear and backed this choice up as a requirement for the guaranty/warranty you were providing with this purchase. Despite the fact that the mechanic presented an outrageous bill I agreed to pay because this was pre-condition for indemnity.

You will recall that the mechanic did not finish the job on the day he started out. At dusk he had to retire a x I provided him shelter for the night in my driver's quarters. Early the next morning he wrapped up the job and tested the car himself. I joined him and noticed that the gears were not selecting after gear 2. His response was that since the gearbox had just been mounted and lubricated we should allow the gear oil to circulate properly and that it will work perfectly. On my further inquiry about a certain noise he responded that only thing left to be done was the suspension (especially the shaft) of the car. I agreed to have this done and even asked him if he could undertake this repair as a separate job......he declined with the excuse that he was travelling for a job that was already paid for ostensibly by you.

That same morning I complained to you and you echoed what the mechanic said regarding oil circulation. Note that I had told you that the car was due to make a trip on 28th December to the East. This was already post Christmas.

On the day after the repairs I called and complained again about the excessive jerking and your response was that it would need the mechanic to come back to revisit the job. You then asked me to foot not just the transport of the mechanic but also the cost of this second service. I reminded you that I had just paid you 30,000 for the mechanic and that I would do no such thing. I would expect that with all the assurances you gave me you would at least have caused your mechanic to come and assess the mechanicals all over again. For your information there was absolutely nothing wrong with the electricals as subsequent appraisals revealed.

You took advantage of my trust which was founded on meeting you on Nairaland. You sold me a lemon deliberately and that's why you refused to attend to my complaints. While I may not be able to stop you from continually deceiving people, I will commit to ensuring that periodically I quote your posts with this incident so that others who are entering your snare will at least do so consciously. You will learn the hard way that deceit does not pay.

I can also warn you that this is just the beginning. As many people as possible in all social media platforms must know about you and your cunning.





When my driver resumed later in the day he drove the car and complained that the car was not moving properly and that the gears were not changing.

If you don’t return it, that vindicates me, and it tells everyone reading this that you are a liar and a slanderer who is bittered because i refused to be threatened by you.

Mr Onnyx your words aren’t matching up, you said you called me repeatedly and i was giving excuses, the last time we spoke i told you to give the mechanic transportation to ogun state which you refused, you shouted and threatened to come on nairaland and you hanged up on me, that was the last I heard from you. Just because of transportation for the mecho to cone and check on the wirings of your car.

Secondly, you lied again when u said you tested the car the following day, immediately the mechanic finished the work i called to confirm from you if everything was okay before i paid the mechanic you confirmed that it was okay so i paid the mechanic then after about a week or two that was when you called to say the car moves on one gear only, which could either be because of a faulty brainbox or wiring (mind you this car has been parked for months or more than a year) of which you also knew that this car has developed lots of issues rats have eaten some of the wires too

Thirdly i never requested any money from you, pls dont lie about this i only told you the mechanic needs transportation to come to ogun state and you refused to give him, which suprised me and even the mechanic too

You wouldn’t pay transportation but you will easily pay another 500k that took you more than 8months to pay the first time (haha) such a liarr, i am sure you have gotten a rewire that has sorted your problems but you still decide to slander me on my thread.

I dare you to bring back my gearbox to my shop and i will refund you your money.

The mechanic was at your home, he fixed the gearbox you were supposed to test drive it along with him before he leaves, it is your responsibility i am not at ogun state. I held his money till i heard from you that the car was ok before i paid him. It was all on him. So i made my stance clear, send this guy transport to come to ogun state and he will come check situation, am sure the gear was ok if not the car wouldn’t move at all, the problem would come from your brainbox or wiring issue. But this man would not pay even 2k for transportation only to come on nairaland and say he bought a new gearbox, he couldn’t pay 2k for tfare of the mecho but would pay 500k to buy new gear. IMAGINE

So i asked my mechanic to go and check the car out, he agreed to go on no charge if the man would only pay bis transportation, i understood him because he has done his job, the car has developed all kinds of problems since it has been parked for too long, so I called this man to send money for transportation to the mechanic so he can come and help him check the wirings and brainbox. But this guy refused to send even 2k. I reminded him of all the expenses i have made on his car, i was pleading with this guy to have compassion because i have tried for him i wanted everything to end on a clean slate so his car would be ok, and he can help me boost my sales like he said he would. This guy was still pressing that i give the mechanic (whom he only paid half wage) transportation that is when i knew this man is not only greedy ge is also not understanding and would probably not help me in the end

I didnt hear from this man till after a week or so, he then called me to say he hasn’t been around, but his driver was the one that tested the car, but now he has gone to test it but the car is only driving on one gear, now this is my field i know the gear is very much ok but there might be an issue somewhere probably the brainbox or there s a wiring fault, if not it wouldn’t be driving at all, mind you the car has been parked for over 8months or even a year, i was told by my mecho that rats now lived there and has been eating up some wires in the car, lots of work needed to be done, so definitely there s a problem maybe with the brainbox or wiring of that car certainly not the gear

So after all said and done I covered the remaining bal on expense, The mechanic went over to fix the gear, it took him almost two days because they couldn’t provide him with a good oil, they kept on bringing him china oil because the man wouldnt pay 55k for original oil, so after all the back and forth they finally brought oil, the mechanic fixed it and the told me its all good. I called him and he said they tested and its ok

There is already a difference of 25k, i tried everything to make this guy send me some money but he refused, on normal circumstances i would refund him his money but see me trying to help someone who said he lost a family member and who just spent a lot in burial, and who was also going to help me boost sales on nairaland so i decided to make it work, balanced all this pple, the transport guy gave him his 20k, the mechanic collected his 35k i balanced it all after all it was a small price to pay for someone who promised to help me sell over a hundred gearbox on nairaland (haha) little did i knw that this is a very greedy person i am dealing with

But to my surprise this man got greedy, he sent me money for the gear at 385k, he sent 25k for mechanic instead of 35k, and he sent 10k for transportation from lagos to ogun state (to and fro) because the transport guy was to bring back the old gear from his car 10k IMAGINE

Around March last year, this man called me requesting a 13pin gear box for his car, i sold to him at 320k because he was very persuasive and all he even promised to help me sell lots of gearbox on nairaland if i sold to him at 300k but i couldnt because market price was at 350k, then original oil was 17k for 4litres which he is going to buy 8litres, my mechanic was collecting 25k for fixing around that time, we agreed on price and everything, he requested for my acct and all and said he was going to make payment the following day. I waited but i didnt hear from him, only for him to contact 8months later to tell me he had some personal issues which I wouldn’t want to state publicly, at the time the gearbox was at 400k to 420k market price. He explained all his personal issues to me trying to lobby me into reducing price for him i later agreed to sell at 390k for him to buy because i wanted him to help me in boosting sales on nairaland like he promised, pls note that by the time he called for the gear 8months later prices of every item and service has increased the mechanics were now collecting 35k instead of 25k, the original T4 oil rose from 17k to 55k for 4litres

I am amazed by your recollection of what happend sir, you should give the full and accurate story of what happened do not give partial story and pls dont bring in lies because i have seen that you are here to slander my personality on nairaland. I will give a full account of what transpired between us in the next post so that pple can see and know the truth

So you finally decided to respond. Typically you will pretend that you do not know what transpired. Pls do not pretend. I bought a Toyota Sienna 13 pin Gearbox from you last December. The entire transaction was fraudulent in all respects. Despite all my efforts at reaching out to you to do something about the gearbox you ignored me completely.

You insisted that I pay in full for the gearbox.

You also insisted that your own mechanic be the one that fixes the gearbox at a price you determined.

I bought the recommended Gear Oil for the gearbox and 24 hours after the job was done the gearbox was malfunctioning.

I couldn't travel with the car that holiday despite injecting over 500k in gearbox repairs.

I called you repeatedly and it was one excuse after the other.

I had to spend another 500k to procure another gearbox from one of your colleagues who roundly condemned your actions insisting that you knew that the gearbox you sold was reworked.

I kept that gearbox with me for several weeks and invited different people to look at it in order to get their opinion.

Since I bought another gearbox I could have let the matter ride but I do not think any other person here should suffer what I went through.

If there are a few people who have genuinely enjoyed your service...then they are either very lucky or you are very selective in your choice of who to scam.

I still insist that those who deal with you should do so with their fingers crossed.
