For a lot of people to be disgusted with this Company says a lot about them. I believe the company staff do not undergo any type of training at all.

They really need to start listening to their clients complaints cos ignoring these serious complaints from people will surely bring their downfall.

Is that the chevron roundabout?

Cheveron is at the 4th roundabout. I am talking about 3rd RBT. ie Mobile . They have the femi okunu estate there. also you have osakpa london there, you can get houses at good rates there.

For those contemplating on renting in lekki, i will suggest you look into buying properties arround 3rd round about area, Prices there are still not as high as lekki phase 1 or VGC, Instead of buying castles newspaper, you can check properties on thier website castlesweekly.com

@ Goldenson

They came and did a presentation last year and most of their objectives and projections were realistic.

Also they have quite a few eastern billionaires supporting them amd their staff are well trained. They are quite serious and do not have time for time wasters. The Chairman is a close friend and wouldn't spoil a friendship by misinforming me so on that basis I went in. Aside from the presentation and memo, they gave some documents which I should not publically disclose which showed some other activities they are into which are very lucrative. I have confidence in them.

@Pumping I don't know this uploading thing but I called a member of staff to email you the form and prospectus. It should be there now.

Thanks for the info. Please can u shed light on if u are sure they will list in 2 years time or is that a rumour and also what is your take on whether it will be listed at N30

@ Goldenson

I also got the invitation from BGL some months ago.
I expect it to be a good investment and if they tell you they will list at 30 Naira you will have to decide whether you believe or not.
The main issue will be when are they going to list? Did you ask them that? Please tell us if you know.
It is a lot of money to tie down.

Samstone4 cool cool

They didnt tell me when it will be listed, but they mentioned that they have commenced the alottment. If its going to take em 24 months like pumping said, then i don't think its worth me tying 7mil down for that long. Anyway, thanks yall for the input.

Yes, please gimme the name and number of the person you called at Zenith Sec.
If they had explained the predicament they were in (due to being disorganized) perhaps we could have understood their situation. I had wanted to go their MD way but if your option could also work, then good. Thanks.

I spoke to a nice lady by the name "Ada" and i believe she is in thier financial department, I dont know if its right to put her phone number on a public forum, if u call Zenith securities custormer services and ask to speak to Ada who handles Dangote flour returned checks, i bet they will transfer you straight to her.
Investment / Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by goldenson(m): 6:20pm On Feb 10, 2008
With regards to the Zenith securities "Dangote returned check, I was facing the same problem last week too, But I leant from one of their financial personnel that they are trying to sort out the whole check issue. She said that the place where the checks are kept was a bunch of mess and they were finding it difficult to locate people's check in there,

Though I kept calling her all of last week and was very nice to her on the phone and finally on friday, she located my check and said she has instructed them to pay it into my brokage account,

So if u still have the same problem, keep calling and play nice to them till they get it done.

Is unlocked iphone already out in the Naija market.

If so, how much is it going for ?

If its not out yet, how much do u think is a good price for it ?

The reason i ask is cos i got a connect to get the fully unlocked iphones which can work in Naija.

Quick questions for all the Gurus, I have some pressing questions rearding the Fidelity Hybrid offer that i need answers on.
It states that the offer is for N8 and the rights issue is for N8 on the bases of 1 share for every 33 held.

So my questions are these:

(A) If i originally have 100,000 shares from their previous IPO, then how many shares are my allowed to buy through the rights issue.

(B) Am I allowed to buy more from this regular PO offer after i purchase from the rights issue.

(C) Does it make any difference buying via rights issue since its the same price (N8) as the PO.

My main aim is to buy way more that the rights issue will allow me and i need to know the best way to go about it.

Thanx in advance for any contribution.

Hey this is how I did it : I filld out my form and scaned it to a friend and also paid money into his account. He then took the form to Cashcraft office in osborn Ikoyi. When he got there , they broker told him he can pay with his cheque and he was asked to write my name in the back of the cheque and also state that payment was for the PP. Mind you , my broker is Zenith

BRO, can one pay cash or only by cheque? Is it possible to fill up the form, lodge and pay in any intercontinental bank nationwide?

kindly advise.

I am not sure about cash. but instead of cash why not buy a bank draft with your cash fram any bank and pay with it. That way you proff of payment. you dont wana be giving nobody u dont know cash in nigeria. I called a contact in Intercontinental bank and she told me that they are selling the Union Diag PP. So u can go to the bank and submit and pay there also.

Temmie10:

@WindyWendy
I like what you have done considering the forecasts are really too good to be true, making a conservative projection based on established previous performance.
PAT for 2006 is 52.179m (page 18 of prospectus) so i would expect a PAT of higher than 42.6m in 2007.
I tried something similar by using PAT growth rate of 25% in 07, 30% in 08, 20% in 09.
This gives a pe of 24 in 2009 BUT even this is assuming the company meets 20% of its proposed target which is very conservative.

It all boils down to the company's prospects and difficulty of analyzing a growth stock as opposed to value stocks. In any case, i think union diagnostic is a touch and go investment. Its one of those that COULD. I wouldn't think to invest a lot but if the company goes anywhere near its forecast, we'll be smiling all the way. The fact that they are listing very soon also helps.

@diva4eva, i think u need to take the form to cashcraft
@goldenson, its possible

Thanks Temmie10 for the prompt answer.
Please do you know the best way for me to get my hands on these Union Diag shares. I am contemplating filling out and scaning the form to a friend who will submit it to cashcraft with a bank draft. Will they accept a scanned form with signature or are they supposed to accept only the original filled out forms .

Question for the Gurus and All

Is it possible for someone to subscribe for 1 million shares of UNion Diag. in this PP and get all of them. This is considering the total number of shares offered as only 550 million.

Please any good reply is welcome
