kokoA:Iron fist? And Boko became a monster immediately after. The killing of their leader by the Yar'Adua regime turned them to a full blown terrorist group. |
Politics / Re: Opobo, Bonny- Do Igbos Live On Water? by Goodvibes007: 2:40pm |
Putindbutt:That was how I went with a couple of friends (4 of us) to the abattoir to share a cow. One Yoruba guy mistakenly called an Ika man "Ibo". Omo, the Ika guy almost punched the Yoruba guy ooo saying their origin is Bini. He said Ibo migrated into their region and started influencing others, and later started thinking they can grab their land. lol. These guys hate to be associated with ibos. To put things into perspective Jim Ovia, Emefiele, obaigbena, hanks anuku e.t.c are Ikas 2 Likes |

ednut1:Yes they are. The whole escravos in Delta is a good example. Olokola LNG/FTZ facility and deep sea port to be built in the Ondo/Ogun waterside axis is eventually going to come back on stream as well. 1 Like

ednut1:Edo has access to the sea via the Benin river, however, it would need permission as the south end of the river is in between Ondo and Delta state. |
Politics / Re: Why Was Edo State Deliberately Cut-off From The Atlantic Ocean? by Goodvibes007: 1:13pm |
eTroll:Akwa Ibom is in the west while cross River is on the north east of the shore. Cross River is one of Nigeria's coastal states.. Like someone already mentioned, posters of SE extract have been creating funny topics about access to the sea after news broke about cross River's deep sea port. and this topic is not an exception. Cross River being a coastal state is not even up for argument. Red line points to Akwa Ibom/ cross River border line. The pink points to Nigeria) Cameroun border line. 1 Like

opamoses1:Ironically, when Zik was busy breaking the western region, he was not backing the creation of the Calabar- River-Ogoja (COR) state out of the Eastern Region. He was vehemently against COR state. Azikiwe sold them the dummy of Yoruba domination. I am sure we can all guess those that eventually got dominated after the Biafria war broke out. Let's not also forget that Ojukwu and Ironsi jailed Adaka Boro for trying to break out of the eastern region. Gowon played a smart move after the war by locking them in their Ibo region (land locked) to prevent them from trying to dominate any of the minorities again. The minorities were shown shege after declaration of Biafria. Ojukwu even appointed an Ibo man over mid west despite the opposition by Victor Banjo. Mummaduyusufu created several topics on the shege 8 Likes 2 Shares
