Once you start blocking the road, you are already calling for violence and Anarchy. You are already blocking the right of others. Your names won't be remembered. Occupy Nigeria protest and EndSars should have thought you a lesson.

Dear Agu and Anthony, Thank you for your feedback. I responded to Martins and other Obidients who came on my profile to state that a coup would occur in Nigeria. And I urged Martins (who has Peter Obi as his profile photo) and his cohorts to be mindful of their words. I then reminded them of the consequences of the first military coup in Nigeria. I never called the coup an Igbo coup. You are the ones using the term 'Igbo coup'. The facts I stated are historically accurate. There were two coups in 1966. The first was on January 15, 1966. The second was on July 29, 1966. To obscure the fact that the January 15, 1966 coup was one sided, some people like to list the names of those who participated in both coups as though there was only one coup. The cause of the Nigerian Civil War, which led to the deaths of over a million people, was the January 15, 1966 coup, which many Nigerians believed was a one sided coup. I will now list the names of all those who took part in the January 15, 1966 coupe and their places of origin: Major Emmanuel Ifeajuna-Igbo from Eastern Region. Major Chukwuma Nzeogwu-Igbo from Midwest Region. Major Chris Anuforo-Igbo from Eastern Region. Major Don Okafor-Igbo from Eastern Region. Major Adewale Ademoyega-Yoruba from Western Region. Now, I will list the names of those killed during the January 15, 1966 coup: 1. Sir Ahmadu Bello-Fulani from Northern Region. 2. Sir Abubakar Tafawa-Balewa-Gere from Northern Region. 3. Samuel Ladokr Akintola-Yoruba from Western Region. 4. Chief Festus Okotie-Eboh-Itsekiri from Midwest Region. 5. Hafsatu Bello (wife of Sir Ahmadu Bello)-Fulani from Northern Region. 6. Mrs Latifat Ademulegun (Brigadier Ademulegun's wife, who was pregnant)-Yoruba from Western Region. 7. Brigadier Samuel Ademulegun-Yoruba from Western Region. 8. Brigadier Zakariya Maimalari-Kanuri from Northern Region. 9. Colonel Kur Mohammed-Kanuri from Northern Region. 10. Colonel Ralph Shodeinde-Yoruba from Western Region. 11. Lt. Colonel Abogo Lagerma-Marghi from Northern Region. 12. Lt. Colonel James Pam-Jos native from Northern Region. 13. Lt. Colonel Arthur Unegbe-Igbo from Eastern Region. 14. Sergeant Daramola Oyegoke-Yoruba from Western Region. 15. Police Constable Philip Lewande-Minority from Northern Region. 16. Police Corporal Akpan Anduka-Efik from Eastern Region. 17. Police Corporal Hagai Lai-Minority from Northern Region. 18. Police Corporal Yohana Garkawa-Minority from Northern Region. 19. Lance Corporal Musa Nimzo-Minirity from Northern Region. 20. Ahmed Pategi-Minority from Northern Region. 21. Zarumi Sardauna-Minority from Northern Region. Now, out of a total of 21 people killed by the January 15, 1966 coup plotters, only Lt. Colonel Arthur Unegbe was an Igbo, and the reason he was killed was because he was the QuarterMaster-General, Army Headquarters, Lagos, and therefore was in charge of the armoury. As a result, it was necessary, from the point of view of the potters, to kill him. Let me also add that although Major Ademoyega was part of the coup plot, he did not take part in the killings. You may want to read his book, Why We Struck. You may also want to read the report of the Special Branch of the Police, which was prepared principally by MD Yusufu (who later became the IG of Police). To those Obidients calling for a coup in Nigeria, my counsel is to learn from history and allow democracy to thrive in Nigeria. Thanks again, and may God bless you. #TableShaker |
After I wrote about the January 15, 1966 coup and especially the role played by Major Chris Anuforo, the most bloodthirsty of the January 15, 1966 mutineers, a man who killed so many good men, his daughter, one Mary Ann Ihejieto, sent me an email threatening my life. What did I do to her and her father? All I did was write about the coup. I did not embellish. I wrote only the truth. Rather than remorse for her father's actions, Major Anuforo's daughter threatened my life. She threatened that there would be another coup in Nigeria, which would be deadlier than the coup her father participated in. Chief Festus Okotie-Eboh was abducted after celebrating his then thirteen-year-old daughter's birthday and slaughtered in the most gruesome manner by Major Anuforo. His daughter was traumatised for life. Yet, Anuforo's daughter is angry that I wrote about it. Then how does she want Chief Okotie-Eboh's children to feel? Not only did he kill the Minister of Finance, Chief Festus Okotie-Eboh, but he also killed Lt. Colonels Kur Mohammed and Arthur Unegbe. Arthur Unegbe was the only Igbo killed during that coup. He was not on the original hit list. But he was in charge of the armoury, and Anufori felt he would not surrender it to the coupists, whereupon Anuforo shot him. When Major Humphrey Chukwuka refused to kill Lt. Colonel Pam, who had been responsible for his rapid rise in the army, Anuforo also got angry and killed Pam. According to the British intelligence report on the coup, Pam's last words to Anuforo were, "‘Oh Chris, don’t do this, please.’ Please? Chris?" Yet, Major Chris Anuforo killed him! How does Mary Ann Ihejieto want his children to feel? And she is threatening another coup? Major Chris Anuforo killed Lt. Colonel Arthur Unegbe, then the Quartermaster General of the Nigerian Army, without provocation, simply because he refused to hand over the keys to the armoury to him. Anuforo shot him right in front of his pregnant wife. He then returned to his car and ordered Colonel Kur Mohammed out of the vehicle. Kur Mohammed was unique in that he was the only one of Anuforo's victims who did not beg for his life when told he was to be shot. He was shot in the back by Anuforo while praying. Colonel Kur Mohammed was the acting Chief of Staff, Army Headquarters beginning from November 1965, because Colonel Adeyinka Adebayo, who later became Governor of the Western Region, was away for a course at Imperial Defence College, London. How does Mary Ann Ihejieto want the late Colonel Mohammed's children to feel? And rather than remorse, this woman is threatening my life and vowing that there would be an even deadlier coup in Nigeria. Well, if God permits her and her confederates to kill me, then so be it. But whether today or tomorrow, nothing and nobody can intimidate me and prevent me from writing about Nigeria's history so we can know how we got to where we are. Next week will mark the fifty eighth anniversary of that coup. For some people, I am not sure lessons have been learnt. Major Chris Anuforo was a bloodthirsty monster and coward who begged for his life when he was confronted by Nigerian army officers at Ibadan. A man who liked to spill blood did not want his own blood spilt. Reno Omokri Gospeller. The bloodiest coup was that of the ibos in January 1966. Pregnant women were not even spared. If Archbishop Chukwuma feels this way, then what does he want the family of Brigadier Ademulegun to say? Mrs. Latifah Ademulegun was married to Brigadier Samuel Ademulegun. She was eight months pregnant when, on the night of January 15, 1966, Major Timothy Onwuatuegwu stormed into her matrimonial bedroom to kill her husband. She got up from the bed and, stood in front of her husband, and refused to move. Major Onwuatuegwu then gunned down both her and her husband. Their two underaged children, Solape and Kole, ran into the room and began to cry at the trauma of seeing both their parents' bloodstained bodies. They never recovered from the shock. What about the family of Sardauna? What should they say? Just a little over thirty minutes before, Hafsatu Bello, Sir Ahmadu Bello's first wife, did the same thing. She planted herself in front of her husband as a human shield, thinking that that would stop Major Chukwuma Nzeogwu. But that was not to be. Nzeogwu gunned down both her and her husband. What about the family of Colonel Kur Mohammed? The manner in which Major Chris Anuforo killed Lt. Colonel Kur Mohammed was particularly evil. Kur Mohammed did not resist or beg for his life. Rather, he started praying without asking for permission, at which point Anuforo rained bullets on his back. Some people believe they were just sitting down minding their business, and Hausa people came to fight them (all Northerners are Hausa to some people) because they hate them. There was absolutely no provocation, or igniting events that preceded the Nigerian Civil War. Hausa people just woke up on the wrong side of the bed and, for some strange reason, decided to pounce on the people of Eastern Nigeria. But, of course, that is not what happened. However, because we do not write our history, and even worse, we have refused to teach it in our schools, millions of people believe this version of events. In fact, they swear by it. The truth is that if the January 15, 1966 coup had never happened, it is most unlikely that the Nigerian Civil War would have occurred. The perpetrators of that coup opened a Pandora’s Box that the rest of Nigeria is still suffering from today! There was wild jubilation all over Nigeria after that coup, because Nigerians believed it was a patriotic and nationalistic coup. Then the names of those killed were announced over the radio, and it was discovered that only people from the North, West and Midwest were killed. Out of 21 people killed by the January 15, 1966 coup plotters, only Lt. Colonel Arthur Unegbe was an Igbo, and the reason he was killed was because he was the QuarterMaster-General, Army Headquarters, Lagos, and therefore was in charge of the armoury. If Major General Ironsi had punished the January 15, 1966 plotters as promised, there would not have been the counter-coup and the civil war. The core Northern officers were pacified to an extent after Major General Aguiyi-Ironsi promised them he would try the January 15, 1966 coup plotters. Unfortunately, Aguiyi-Ironsi did not try them. Maybe he planned to do so later on, but up until July, he had not. Then word got out that those arrested, including the most brutal of them, Major Chris Anuforo, were still receiving salaries in prison and, worse, were scheduled to be promoted. That riled the Northern officers. Additionally, Igbos in the North were accused of mocking the late Sardauna, Ahmadu Bello. Some people had printed almanacks of his face on a goat's body. Others had made posters of Major Nzeogwu as Angel Michael, with his sword drawn and his leg on the head of satan, who was depicted as the Sardauna. During the last election, some people repeated these same vile behaviours. To add salt to injury, amusician named Celestine Ukwu released a song in Igbo titled Ewu Ne Ba Akwa, meaning ‘the goat is crying’, which Northerners felt mocked the Sardauna. The Archbishop should consider this before making statements that reopen old wounds. |
Sowore is not coming down to Nigeria from his safe abode in the US..Be careful out there. Nobody will remember your name.

Conservatism is taking over the world. The Brits first got rid of the Indian PM, not because they love the labour party, but because he is Indian and colored. Next election, they will be voting back a conservative, as long as the leader of the conservative party is white. My first experience of bigotry was in a very multicultural town called Barking in London. The few whites in that town were visibly angry and frustrated. As Musk mentioned, politics is tribal, rather than logical. Our SE brothers understand this very well, but project tribal bigotry on others - reverse psychology Lol.

Centrik360:You don't like the face that he re-echoed what alot of us already know i.e. that Obi is not a leader. 🤣🤣 |
Kushites:Your family must have a god or deity they follow before the accepting Islam or Christianity. You need to go back home and inquire. A clue may also be in your surname or even middle name. One of my middle names has Ifa***** as an example so I know, even though my family has been Christians since the 1920s or thereabouts. |

SpatialKing:Do I blame them. When Igbos are the one pushing for protest and even violence on twitter. [quote]“Peter Obi should leave the country and run away, while we k!ll and destroy the remaining leaders from other regions, including Atiku.” - Ibo Obidient Did same thing not happen in 1966 where Azikiwe travelled outside the country and the following weeks Leaders of the south west and north where assassinated in a coup? Never will it repeat itself again. ]

Tinzawatin is in Mali. Niger, Mali and others like Burkina Faso made a big mistake in pushing out French military and American military. 70% of Mali by now would likely have been overtaken by different terrorist groups. No wonder the terrorist jubilated when the the coup happened in Mali. The french backed president and French forces were giving them wotowoto. As we can see, those terrorists are not Malians but ISIS terrorists from the middle east. The Mali coupists that took over power were absolutely clueless.
