But never could win peace, unity and progress, even to this day.
America fought civil war, but became the greatest country on earth
Nigeria fought civil war but became world's poverty capital
At least something good came out of the American civil, nothing good came out the Nigerian civil war Dis one na consolation post ooo l. There was indeed a victor and a loser. Gowon was just playing |

Timi0fede: Was this after we the yorub@stards conspired and murdered Adaka Boro with the help of Benjamin Adekunle out of jealousy? So we can place our filthy ewedu hands on Niger Delta crude oyel? 🤔 The idiots that locked Adaka Boro in jail for trying to break away were slow coach Ironsi and dafty Ojukwu that fled disguised as a woman to Abidjan. Only for him to return and marry a girl young enough to be his daughter, after sacrificing the lives of 3 million of his kinsmen. |

The greatest error of the Biafrian war was Ojukwu setting the foot of his rebels at Ore. That was when recruitment drive began in the western region. They did not only push the rebels back at Ore, they helped liberate the Midwest, then the rest of the SS then pushed into the Ibo hinterlands. |

Whalis: Losing ikwerre land was the greatest lost of Igbos in course of the war not just the war. It still pains them to date. It was never their property to begin with. Same way the Nazis were pained after losing Paris lol. Whalis: They had cornered it before the war. See ikwerre land was already occupied before the war. All they needed then to own any land they desired in Ikwerre land was to travel to Enugu. A document would be issued to that effect Viola! The land belongs to the Igbo person and it didn't matter if crops were on the land. The Igbo person would just walk up to you and serve you papers to quit. You are right. Below is from the book sunset in Biafria by an Ikwerre solder that served in the War - Elechi Amadi. It was indeed a liberation.

This is a good call in my opinion. Delta is a multi ethnic state. It was created to solve a problem..
If Anioma leaves, the urhobos automatically becomes the sole majority tribe. They are currently being checkmated by the Anioma, and even at that, they are still pressing the neck of other minority tribes in delta.. if the Anioma state would go ahead, the Itsekiri and Ijaw would want to leave as well. Ijaw may as well create a state that will bring them all together which is the toru-ibe state they have been asking for for almost 2 decades now.
OP. Carry go, nothing do you. |
Politics › Re: Prof Humphrey Nwosu: The Real Architect Of June 12 Election by Goodvibes007: 5:43pm On Jun 13, 2024 |
ZekeYeager: It's a good thing the real truth is in the public domain. This lying, dishonest, degenerate, sub human version of history can only emanate from a typical TEEFnubu supporter. You somehow looped Tinubu into the conversation hence I also called out Peter Obi earlier on for chopping money with Abacha. Truth remains that Prof Nwosu folded and for that reason, when heros of democracy are mentioned, he is never listed amongst them. |
Politics › Re: Prof Humphrey Nwosu: The Real Architect Of June 12 Election by Goodvibes007: 5:37pm On Jun 13, 2024 |
ZekeYeager: He refused to annul the elections. Babangida went over his head to do so. There was a court order asking him to hand over the results which he refused to do and was brutalised by the army for doing so.
I don't expect a professional APC liar to tell the truth about the past when they can't even tell the truth about the present. He refused because he was a coward and that court order was also from his friend Author Nzeribe. He was not brutalized anything. He could have chosen the path of truth, but he did not. That's why his name would never be mentioned when heros of democracy are being mentioned. Even Obidient's favourite Arise TV ignored him . LMAO. |
Politics › Re: Prof Humphrey Nwosu: The Real Architect Of June 12 Election by Goodvibes007: 5:33pm On Jun 13, 2024 |
ZekeYeager: Soyinka and even Dele Momodu ran away to the United States. I don't blame them because military regimes are ruthless and bloodthirsty. The fact that you stupidly brought Peter Obi into a June 12 1993 topic just shows how low level your brain is. Dele momodu ran to the UK (Not the USA) also via the Benin border. These guys are heros - they put up a fight which was what made them flee. Some heros paid with their lives. These heros could have joined the likes of Nzeribe, Peter Obi, Nwosu, e.t.c that all supported the military and enriched themselves.

Politics › Re: Prof Humphrey Nwosu: The Real Architect Of June 12 Election by Goodvibes007: 5:31pm On Jun 13, 2024 |
ZekeYeager: So what did I get wrong? They seized his passport but he was still able to flee from Nigeria. Where is the lie? Like many others including those I'm Madeco that were able to flee, Prof Soyinka put up a good fight for almost two years inside Nigeria before fleeing. Prof Nwosu did not even put up any fight at all. He immediately folded from day 1. |
Politics › Re: Prof Humphrey Nwosu: The Real Architect Of June 12 Election by Goodvibes007: 5:27pm On Jun 13, 2024 |
ZekeYeager: Wole Soyinka did so from the comfort of abroad. All of the members of NADECO were based abroad, including a certain druggie criminal (later to become President of Nigeria) who was pretending to be fighting for Abiola while secretly connecting to the Abacha regime. This is how you gen z distort history. All though 1993 till he fled at the end of 1994, he was aggressively against the military regime. That's almost two years.

The greatest coward that ever liveth. He could have declared Abiola as the winner and maybe flee afterwards. But he gave the military an ammunition to justify cancelling the election. We can't forget the role of Author Nzeribe too. That actually went to court to pleas for cancellation of the election. Worth mentioning are also late senator Chukwuemeka and Daniel Kanu of YEAA who were all anti-MKO. confusedlady: During the June 12 elections the Ibos voted enmass for Bashir Tofa of the NRC. Abiola only won in Anambra state. During the June 12 crisis and it's aftermath Ibos left the South West enmass because of the propaganda and lies of the goebbellian Ibo minister of information named Uche Chukwumerije. This cursed and devilish man used his position and propaganda to drum up tension, fear and hatred through the NTA and FRCN and claimed Abiola was a CIA agent who was going to invade Nigeria with American soldiers. This propaganda caused panic among Ibos who fled in droves back to the East to escape this fake/imaginary war. It is pertinent to note that those Ibos that remained in the west were not attacked. Those who lost their lives fleeing in motor accidents on the way back to the east should blame their deaths on the squealer Uche Chukwumerije.
It is pertinent to also note the roles played by Ibos like Arthur Nzeribe(of accursed ABN fame) who procured a midnight court judgement against the June 12 elections being completely announced and thus aided Babangida to scuttle the election and prolong military rule.
Another Ibo who aided the scuttling of the June 12 election was one Daniel Kanu of a surreptitious group called Youths earnestly ask for Abacha(YEAA).This was an evil group that openly opposed the June 12 election and asked Abacha to transmute from a military dictator to a civilians dictator.
Another Ibo who shamelessly defended the annulment of the June 12 election was Odumegwu Ojukwu, who was sponsored by Babangida and Abacha to go on CNN and the BBC to defend and justify the annulment of the June 12 elections.
The Ibo political leadership playe prominent roles in the annulment and truncation of June 12 election won by Chief Abiola. If any Ibo died in the aftermath of the annulment of the election, they died in motor accidents while fleeing to the East due to the evil and wicked roles played by their evil leaders like Nzeribe,Kanu,Ojukwu and the lies and propaganda of the sadistic and evil Uche Chukwumerije!

You can always hold your Ibo day in onitsha too without hindrance, since the Ikwerres chased you away from port Harcourt when you recently tried to hold an Ibo day there. |
