Christianity EtcRe: How To Become A Super Rich Holy Businessman by Gorrjigen(m): 11:13am On Sep 09, 2008
I readilly agree with your submission. The so called megabucks preachers have turned to billionaires when the Jesus Christ they profess to follow owned nothing, only to lease a beast of burden to enter in to Jerusalem. It is a shame they can't follow what Christ told Nicodemus-to give out his wealth in order to enter the kingdom of God.

Our so called Pastors have only resulted to preaching "convinient gospel" to keep their loyalists or customers in the fold. Non of these so called men of God as you mentioned above could tell Obasanjo or Yar adua to pay up salaries or pensions on time. They will rather prefer the harsh economic policies, which they know will keep people coming to church. The more there is unemployment, general insecurity, inflation, the more people that go to these churches. the churches in fact keep people in the bondage of poverty by keeping them in churches a whole week in the guise of one church programme or another thereby keeping them away from economically viable activities and thoughts.
It is more of a shame that churches now use textbook model marketing strategies to advertise or sell their brand .

PLEASE, tell these pastors to help their congregation by using their influence to change government policies by complaining to the government on behalf of their impoverished population-

PoliticsRe: Jeff Koinange Sacked From CNN Over His Story On The Niger-delta Based Mend Group by Gorrjigen(m): 11:00am On Jun 11, 2007
The fact still remains that Jeff lost his priced job days after the MENd's story. CNN must have probably sacked him just because he made them lose the Nigeria Image Advert contract which Jeff himslf said is unending in monetary terms. Wether the reality in the Niger Delta is close or not i think it is unethical for any journalist to make a sensation out of it by animation or stage managing the story, journalists should always report news as it is.

For those who are creating chaos in the Niger Delta>I wish them good luck. But one thing they should realise is that the Nigerian nation is too strong in might to be disturbed by such local agitations. They should realise that the more peaceful part of the country is leaving them behind in terms of development.
BusinessRe: Package Delivery Problems: USPS And NIPOST by Gorrjigen(m): 10:02am On Jun 06, 2007
Our postal system is simply rubbish, it was even better in the sixties and seventies when letters are delivered at your door. That is no longer possible when 90% of all houses and streets in the country are not even numbered. That's why the census have to spend huge amout to number streets and houses every decade. The post office buildings are all in state of disrepair. The way forward, why cant someone think of spending the excess crude funds on issues like house numbering in every local govt. rather than the politicians spending it anyhow as it is the case now. The database available when streets are numbered is unquantifiable this is when development can reach everyone, but when 90% of nigerians dont even have bank account or a domicile postal address,  I WONDER HOW WE CAN DEVELOP.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria's Image Was Badly Damaged On Oprah Today! by Gorrjigen(m): 4:19pm On Apr 14, 2007
It is just a hard fact that the igbos are so engrossed in these so called activities, although participation cut across all ethnic groups, at least i know that the credit card fraud in the U.K and human traficking\prostitution are dominated by the other major ethnic groups. But the fact still remains that the Ibos overdo anything they hear others are doing. Nigerians have good name in South Africa until the ibos entered. Countries like Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda no longer want to see Nigerians because of the attrocities committed by mostly Ibo traders over there. Just go and take the statistics of Nigerians in Bangkok Central prison, you will easily agree with me.

It is good as all the countries in West Africa could differentiate between the Ibos and other Nigerians. An average Fulla money changer on the street of freetown can tell you about the infinite criminal capacity of the Ibo man. A custom officer or Duane in Kidira,Senegal will first ask a Nigerian traveller across his border if he is ibo or Yoruba. Prostitutes in Lome, Togo have learnt their lessons from their Ibo Customers. how i wish citizens of other countries outside west Africa could follow this step. Camerounian gerndarmes have nothing against Nigerians in their country except the criminal intent of the majority of Nigerians living there.

Ibo conmen are paraded almost monthly on Gambian T.V news as Nigerians. Sometimes the story is as big as defrauding the Central Bank over there. I bet it, you will hate yourself seeing these things. What makes it saddening is that most of their crimes bear the trade mark of poor execution and hallmark of shallow intelligence, and in some cases they even report each other to the police in a lootfracas. If you are an Ibo and you are not convinced, please take a trip to Ivory coast, Sierra Leone, togo, Liberia, Guinea, Senegal and Mali and enquire from the natives. There is always a story of a bizarre crime commited by a NIgerian Ibo around in those countries.

I wish the Ibos themselves can admit these facts and try to correct these anomalies in their society. I think the value system needs changing but it will start from the Ibos admiting this truth. This is no 'Ibo Bashing'. Other ethnic groups also needs to repent but the fact is that, take the Ibo crimes out of it,the rest is minimal. Ibo businessmen are scattered all over the major cities of Africa, but it is a hard fact and a well known secret that most of their wealth are recycled proceed from big time criminal activities. i think to clean Nigeria's image abroad we just have to start with the IBOS, GOD BLESS NIGERIA.

SportsNigerian Coaches Vs Foreign Technical Advisers. by Gorrjigen(op): 1:20pm On Jan 20, 2007
I just need to chip in a word or two for those who are against foreign coaches for the Super Eagles.

First, i will like to know why Austin Eguavon has not resigned since a new contract was announced for Vogts. It was clear Eguavon lacked vision for the super Eagles, he actually showed his incompetence in Egypt 2006 allowing football agents to dictate the team list, i actually got tired of him when he was blaming the type of football used for the Eagles loss of the Match in Lesotho, i said Eagles lost because the Crocodile were celebrating after the match even though they were beaten 1-0 by the Eagles.
I also have a word or two against the other baby coaches, i wonder how they can coach the eagles properly while the two were involved in the controversy that made Eagles exit the 1994 world cup.Amokachi is a very sorry case, colluding with Finidi to stop passes going to Rashidi Yekini. I wonder, what these ones will teach the new generation of players under them. It was horrible watching Amokachi shouting at the South African referee in a friendly with their under 23 last year, i wonder the kind of Administrators that gave him the job.
For the football agents like Shittu and others, i will warn any player that actually needs a career in football to desist from following them, they are human trafikkers-go-lucky, reaping from ruining the careers of our young players. One of them based in Norway was even advising the NFA to only employ a coach that is hungry for success, a type that is soft weight that they can always influence as they are doing to Eguavon.
I actualy want Eguavon to explain why he should use Ogbuke playing in Norway when Ogunsoto was scoring super goals in Belgium. The Norwagian league is not even as good as our league at home.

For the other upcoming players e.g Mikel, i wish you ask yourself one question, WHY HAS OKOCHA'S CAREER ENDED SO COOLY.? Okocha was a bright hope for Nigerian football when he broke in to limelight in 1990, many coaches easily said he will follow in the footstep of pele and maradona, but what happened?, He put money before career, going to play in turkey or psg for no activity , just hid himself in the cooler, o. k sha i will continue later
TravelHow Not To Get A Wife In Nigeria If You Live Abroad by Gorrjigen(op): 11:22am On Jan 19, 2007
If you live in abroad, may be in Europe, The Americas  or anywhere,  and you desperately need a wife from home, pls follow these rules.

1. Do not let any lady you are interested in, know you live abroad in the first place, if she must know, tell her you are in Ghana or uganda etc

2. Do not select lady who is well versed in the use of the internet, these are ladies who are advertising themselves nakedly on different websites to dupe unsuspecting men, they will jump on you and dump you as soon as they relocate with you.

3.Do not allow your relative or family member, may be brothers or sisters to help you find a lady, they will always choose someone they can use to get you.

4. Do not allow your friends who live abroad with you to suggest someone living in Nigeria to you, it may be a ploy to bring his girlfriend over especially if he is not documented.

5. Avoid ladies who are University graduates if you can, they will pretend until they relocate with you, then got awares of the female friendly laws in Europe/USA and dump you as soon as possible. Many of them will end up quarelling with you and becoming very argumentative and arrogant.

6. Avoid sending money to your fiance or the lady you intend to marry, as you will soon become a money-miss-road, ''a laughing stock''

7. Avoid any lady that attends flashy  pentecostal churches, this may only be for pretence.

8. Insist on all medical tests before any wedding at all.

9. Please, forget about beauty, insist on a very sober lady with good characters, i.e. avoid sentiments

10. Avoid any lady that tells you she can manage a bottle of beer etc, you may be courting a prostitute.

11. Please, do not search for a Nigerian wife on dating website, you may not live to regret it.

12. If you finally visit Nigeria to see the lady you choose , please do not jump on the bed with her, try to avoid sex with her, she may coat herself with ''Jazz'', to tie you up.

13. As you are avoiding sex, please make sure you check all the body parts, like the breasts, the tommy area, or you may even ''finger'' the private part to ''carbon date'' her experience and dating age.

14. If you can avoid a slim lady with very bursty chest,  it will be better, because European men have great taste for these qualities or else you may end up finding your neighbour on top of your wife, or having a mullato/halfcast child.

A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE. , This piece was compiled based on my personal experience after living in Europe for  13 yrs, take care.
