You don't need to risk your money paying for a job that doesn't guarantee high-quality.

I will deliver the job for free, then you pay me if you like the quality. All you have to do is provide me with the domain name of the site, and I'll get to work.

I'm using Ezoic, and the experience has been fantastic. Better earnings than Adsense, and their criteria aren't as much as those you listed up there.

Good day sir, are you still using ezoic?

Paying to get a non-paying job for experience? lol. i won't. Nowadays, there are paid jobs one can get (no matter how little) and still garner experience.

Besides, you might be gaining experience, but you are giving the employer a piece of your time...a very valuable commodity. Paying the employer, in addition to your time puts you at an unfair disadvantage. At the very least, a stipend should follow, no matter how little.

Thanks for your objective input. This is the final response I'm taking. Please send your digits and network.

I will surely pay to get the relevant experience in a job that is lucrative and the people that are in the job field are scarce. But if the job is not lucrative and competing it's a waste of money

Noted. Nice response and straight to the point. Please quote me with your digits and the network.

If you have a growth mindset, you do not see problems as problems. You see problems as opportunities to serve others through providing solutions, and again ease is not your thing

Moreover, when your greatest glory is imminent , you have to face your greatest challenges , obstacles or problem in order to achieve fulfilment

The obstacle right here is getting a job in order to have the knowledge and experience which at the long run will usher me into my fulfilled life

I'd pay to volunteer (non paying job) for the period to garner knowledge, problem solving skills and experience that will paved way for better offer

With the knowledge, experience, problem solving skills garnered so far you can land a mouth watering or better offer in a short while

You can also be retained where you paid to volunteer or get referal

The only SACRIFICE here is the money you pay to get that knowledge which obviously will materialise

To cap it all, there's a saying that if you feel knowledge is expensive then try ignorance

Ok, thanks. Please quote me with your digits and the network.

I will pay. Reason why:

Knowledge ( experience) is need to make money or translate skill into money. Even an apprentice will pay to aquire skill that will make him competent to stand on his own and start making money in the future.

Therefore, it is not out of place to pay for knowledge (experience), in this case for 6 months, which will eventually make you competent to apply to organisations and start earning money which in the long run will be more than the amount paid to gather the experience.

Yes, i will pay!

Ok, thanks. Please quote me with your digits and the network.

I need simple answers.

Would you pay for it?

If yes, why? If no, why not?

Hello. I am a 24 year old student. I am studying electrical engineering. I am in my 4th year. I reside in Abuja with my Mum. I just finished my IT, during which I didn't learn anything. I need advice on what lucrative skill I can acquire during this strike period. I've considered programming, but we don't have reliable electricity.

Some relevant data:
CGPA - 2nd class lower
Resources - Low

Thanks.

Check out this site and apply for a lucrative apprenticeship. It lasts around 6 months. >>>> Abuja Apprenticeships

I will give 200 Naira airtime to the first 10 meaningful replies I receive to this question.

The Question:
You need experience to get a job, but you need a job in the first place to get the required experience. Catch 22.

So, my question is, would you pay to get a non-paying job for 6 months just for the experience?

If yes, why?

If no, why not?

thanks for your input... between lugbe and deidei, which will u advice a starter to choose

Bro, please avoid lugbe due to flood issues. Deidei is okay. You can also try kubwa or zuba. The three of them are in the same axis. Zuba is the cheapest. You could find a good selfcon of 50k to 100k.

But if I'll advice you, I'll say that you choose Kubwa. Kubwa has more reasonable human beings and very good for business and is also more secured. Deidei is prone to cult clashes and tribal wars. it's all in the news if you search it.

I'll advice you to find a place in any of Kubwa villages. Somewhere like inside Byazhin Kubwa, you can get a reasonable selfcon for 80k to 100k with good power supply and a good community that can buy from you.

I moved to Abuja last year, and I decided to stay in Kubwa after checking houses in Deidei and dutse. I must say that choosing Kubwa is one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Although I stay is one of the good neighborhood where a selfcon goes for 250k, I still have friends in the Kubwa villages and the distance isn't that far, plus there is enough access to transport.

Forget whatever you are hearing in the news. Abuja is cool and I'm really enjoying it. If you plan to come, just make sure that you don't move with too much properties to avoid being stranded.

Travel light and buy things when you land. Also there are many cheap foodstuff market in Kubwa. You will eat good.

I don't know if you are already in Abuja, but if you want us to meet, I can meet with you and maybe show you around and maybe help look for a place for you.

P.S. I'm not a property agent, just someone who has taking this path before and is willing to help.

You can drop your contact or quote me on another thread if you don't mind.

Enjoy!
