AlwaysPositive: You all give attention to this tribal bigots.
When I left banking, I handed one of my clients to a colleague (Yoruba), the customer was scared because his transactions involves bringing FX to his home and office.. So it needed trustworthy person to handle it. I had to convince my client that the guy is honest and trustworthy. I had Igbo colleagues oo but could only trust the Yoruba guy.
While in banking, I worked under several bosses, but the best amongst them was a Yoruba lady. Infact she's the only one I still keep in touch with.
If you have worked or done business at the highest levels, you will know that nothing like tribalism exists there.
Tribal bigotry only survives and flourishes at the lowest of all the lowest level.
Present Chimaroke Nnamani and Prof Osinbajo, I will happily vote Osinbajo as my president, because like I said earlier, at the top we only consider capacity, honesty and competence, not your tribe, skin colour or language.
Udo diri unu. Take a deep breath and rest! I am Yoruba but most of my friends are Igbos, my wife is Igbo and I I trust them, we all have personal and different experiences. But talking generally and about the majority it is not always like that. The two tribes don't trust each other period! Stop talking as if Igbos are different or stands out among the two tribes. |

gidgiddy: Correction, this is a classic case of the Yorubas enjoying peace and acceptance in Igbo land. This Yoruba man is the King of Yorubas in Enugu, no Igbo cares. But if Yorubas hear that there is a King of Igbos in Lagos or Ibadan, they will call for his arrest. To this day, I have never heard that a Yoruba man who went to Igbo land was discriminated against
But I have heard of countless cases of discrimination against Igbos in Yoruba land.
Aa I have said many times, Yorubas and Igbos have no business being together in one country Peace and acceptance my foot. How many cases like do we have. How many places in Igbo sells land to Yorubas or other non Yorubas? |

Xxxxtentacion2: the question is why spend millions to build a house when you know it will be demolished. Then secondly what constitutes illegal structure ? Person suffer build house you call am illegal structure. Don't just defend any government move you might be a victim of the injustice you support. Is it proper for government to just demolish random houses and call them illegal structure Look at what an adult is saying. "Person suffer build house you call am illegal structures" Who care if you suffer to build it? If it is illegal it is illegal and if it is legal go to court. |

cyberbro: My major concern here is: did the owners and engineers in charge of the buildings obtain approval from the Lagos state government or not? If they obtained the right approval and didn't violate and building code, then this is pure injustice and they have a right to sue the government.
But if they didn't get the necessary approval and continued building up to this level, then I am not sorry for the owners. The most reasonable comment on this post others are just crying tribalism up and down. |

mostHandsome01: In as much as I am in support on what Trump is doing by putting Americans first, but truth is some of you just speak like you don't have deep thinking, I don't want to sound rude but using Nigeria as a case study, do you in your wildest dream think because America is shutting their doors to immigration, suddenly our politicians will overnight start loving Nigerians and start to fix things ? This same politicians that most of them and kids already have several other country passports ? And before you say the ordinary citizens should be the one to make the change, do you remember what happened during the End Sarz movement ? These politicians are ready to unalive anyone and any citizens that stands in their way. Personally I believe the true change we desire will only come when there is a true revolution. That time will come but that's still so far away because a lot of lives will go for it and many of us ain't ready yet, but it will surely come. But you see that statement of hailing what America is doing believing it will fix certain countries, that's a far cry from reality. He is making the comment out of jealousy because most of them don't have the opportunity to apply. |

I love this .
Let all those who support irresponsible government in Nigeria because of tribalism only to run back to America can now stay back in Nigeria and enjoy the useless president or government that they supported.
No more America . You people will just be making gibberish statements out of jealousy because you don't have the opportunity to apply. By the way how many Nigerians uses H-1B visa? From your comment it is possible that you are Obi supporter, if you are did you not also voted for him out of tribalism? Is it possible for everybody to vote Obi? Na by force? To show how myopic you are you failed to realize that some people who voted for Obi or who did not vote out of tribalism might have also apply for H-1B visa. In conclusion you are wishing everybody bad luck. |

Righteousness2: Man is long gone to Eternity in Hell or Heaven, based on if he made Peace with JESUS CHRIST before he left this world . He did not go along with the Mansion. He did not go along with all the cars and paparazzi. He did not go along with his dollars, pounds and naira.
Handle the things of this life with Very light hands. Do not let them control you. They do not have Eternal value. They are Deceivers. If you allow them Deceive you, they will Deceive you and Destroy you.
There is more to this life than having this and that. This world is Home to nobody irrespective of whether you Believe or not. Every one of us will end up either in Heaven or Hell. These are the 2 Eternal homes for every human.
If you Miss Heaven, you CANNOT miss Hell.
As you journey on this Earth, ENSURE you get NEEDFUL . The NEEDFUL is the Genuie salvation of your Soul. The NEEDFUL is a Genuie relationship with JESUS CHRIST. This alone is what guarantees us Eternal life in Heaven. Better go make money, dey there dey lament. In the Bible sef there were rich people. |

I you can point to anything I wrote to show that I got my facts wrong about black history, I will take correction but if you can't, I advise you keep quiet or ask questions. It's up to you. If you had wisdom, you would have would have pointed to all the wrong assertions I made about blacks and their history and corrected them with facts. It's easy and foolish to say someone lacks knowledge when you can't show his mistakes or provide correction. I believe you and the other boy are birds of a feather. He is calling me a boy 😂🤣😂🤣! I don't blame you na Internet we dey so I laugh it off. You have a very big issue with English. Where did I mention that you got anything wrong? tctrills: Are you guys clones? You all behave like robots. The moment you meet someone that disagrees with your point of view you begin to get emotional. I have met hundreds of your kind on Nairaland and I wonder if there is a Whatsapp group for this behavior. Anyway I wish you the best. And continue blaming whites since that's the only way you have peace of mind. I have read the back and forth between you and the guy that quoted you or that you quoted. It is obvious like the guy said, you lack good comprehension. He told you repeatedly that he not giving excuses for blacks behavior meaning that irrespective of what they might have gone thru they can still do better in life. Is that too difficult to understand? What I expect you to ask him is to explain to you the "systematic ways" that the white used to break down black families but you did not instead you are just repeating the same thing, nothing logical from you. You are actually the one that is getting emotional! Conclusion - it is very clear that you know nothing about black history, if you do counter him with points and stop the disrespect. |

SpencerForbes: Emotionally is the person okay Abi you haven’t heard of ladies spreading the virus cos they were angry at the guy that gave them or vice versa. The op just stated normal. Even socially the person will still be afraid of telling people he/she has HIV cos not everyone is well educated about it and you still think that’s normal abi. If the op had mentioned medically your point would have been valid but he just stated they lived “normal lives” that means generally and it doesn’t consist of social life so it isn’t normal. Guy stop talking out of point! The phrase "normal life" did not come from OP it is a phrase use by medics to explain that if you are HIV positive and you take medication you will live like every other person that doesn't have it. The phrase has been there for decades. All those social life and what have that you talking about can only come into play if people know that the person has it. How many people will tell you that they have HIV talkless of you stigmatizing them? Like the dude that quoted you said "you just want to argue unnecessarily" |

Initially he said he was deporting them to other countries because they were being rejected by their own country. Ask yourself if Nigeria has rejected any of her citizens deported from the US. |
