Abike is the real symbol of Yorubalism. Those of you Yorubas that condemned the act only did that without your true consciouness of omoluwabi, the moment that consciousness came up, you will cross carpet, deny, and change. In a Yoruba man, there is that consciousness factor of yorubalism which must be on display. The conciousness knows no integrity or honesty when it aroses. Check the Yorubas even on national issues, they may take a position but when that consciousness comes it is the other way.

Yorubas are living rent free on your head as if your own tribe is better. Yoruba this Yoruba that una no get work? Do you look at yourself and your tribe before talking about others? Most of people like you are children that are just growing up.

Also, Abike Dabiri’s criticism of Obi or the crimes committed by people from Anambra is no free pass for Tinubu’s international scandals or his failure to tackle crime and drug trafficking effectively. And seriously, are criminals only in Anambra State? We have criminals everywhere. So why single out Anambra just because Peter Obi is from there? Especially when the current governor, Soludo, is reportedly Tinubu’s friend for over two decades and recently endorsed Tinubu for a second term, why isn’t he being mentioned? Why focus on Obi, who currently holds no political office and is just a private citizen?

Finally, if we’re talking principles, maybe Tinubu should explain why serious allegations and scandals keep following his personal life and administration without proper accountability. Leadership means owning up, not shifting blame or denying obvious facts.

I know quite a bit more about plane designs and flying. Though my knowledge is on Airbus and Boeing, than smaller Embraer jets.

Increasing power is standard for take-off. The context for the person I was replying was wrong (he was implying she revved off in anger).

In car terms (I'm using car terms for easier understanding please), plane is on but in parked mode when passengers board, the pilot radios ATC for clearance, ground crew signal and plane taxies in gear 1(drive if it's automatic car). Then during take-off, they put the plane in gear 2. Smaller planes need shorter runway and less speed than bigger planes but it will feel like they're moving faster than bigger planes.

This one doesn't know nothing about planes just misleading people.

This particular pilot flew me almost 2 weeks ago, same plane, same leg, night flight. And that's exactly how it sounded then. The engine seemed to sound louder than the regular 737s I'm used to, even the take-off speed felt faster (I'm used to bigger planes). Smaller planes need less of everything.

She walked through the plane to get something and then headed back to the cockpit, about 30mins before we landed.

And yeah, it was a pretty good flight, good takeoff and a good landing (she knew her onions). Very little turbulence.

Plane isn't a car, you can't revve it up. Pilots are trained to keep calm in any situation so she wasn't using vex to take off, okay.
