Young Ecclesia Nation is a Christian movement started in 2015 by founder, Odudu-Abasi Essien. Fueled by a passion for teenagers, God called him to reach out to them using the supernatural power of God and the simplicity of the word in the way young audiences can relate to. He has since led many teenagers to Christ and seen God use him to heal, deliver, teach and empower many teenagers in different schools in Nigeria and other parts of the world where through young disciples of the ministry, fellowships have been planted and multiplication has been the order of the day.

We believe in the potential of young people to know and embrace God fully at an early age and effectively carry His love, wisdom and power to their contemporaries. Children in many churches are sidelined and seen as unable to handle the things of God and therefore remain confused and rebellious towards God. We seek to change that belief and show the world that the future of Christianity is the young people. God can be revealed to them in very simple ways without compromising or watering down the message.

We are raising the generation that will see the second coming of Christ. We have a responsibility to ensure that they are strong and prepared to meet Him as a victorious army.
Jesus said He would in the last days pour out His spirit on all flesh (Joel 2:28). He would empower every believer to walk the earth like He did in power and authority backed with countless signs and wonders. We are in those days. We are a voice crying out for the revival of the Young Ecclesia, the young bride of Jesus Christ.

After being born again, a Christian now becomes a son of God. The one who is born again has his
human spirit recreated with the life of God. This life needs to be sustained by staying connected
with God and by feeding on His word. In our daily devotions, we are strengthened and encouraged
to be as God wants us to.

1. WHAT IS CHRISTIAN DEVOTION?
Christian devotion is an art of bringing out time to stay with God alone. Devotion involves praise
and worship, the study of God’s word, meditation and prayer. (Psalm 27:4-5).
2. WHY SHOULD I HAVE DAILY DEVOTION?
• You should have daily devotion because God commanded it for our good (Proverbs 4: 20-23,
Joshua 1:.
• Devotion is the key to getting closer to God.
• Christianity is a relationship and in every relationship, spending time together isrequired.
• It helps you grow to a mature believer.
• You get to hear God and and know what to do about stuff in your life.
3. WHAT ARE THE REASONS WHY PEOPLE ARE NOT CONSISTENT IN DEVOTION?
• Daily activities like school.
• Not wakingup early.

About 4years ago, A lady confessed to me how she had fallen from her first love with Christ and have now yielded herself to immoral living. She had walked in victory over that before so she knew the difference. Only thing now is ...amidst her striving to get back on her feet, there was a confusion that would have kept her down permanently.

The guy that was now coming to her house for fornication every Wednesday was a very knowledgeable teacher of the word who after every sexual session would be baffled that she is feeling bad about what just happened. The girl was simply reacting to her doing something that was actually strange to the NATURE of the Spirit that now resides in her.

The guy was neither remorseful nor repentant about this each time but would just stand up from the bed, confess some scriptures and re-affirm the finished works of Christ for that week. Then still surprised about how the lady reacted, would scold her for her continual ignorance of the word, Prove to her from scriptures why she doesn't need to feel bad when she fornicates, teach her some confessions and set the next appointment for the sexual pleasure. His confidence was that the fornications have been paid for in advance, God has no more concern with what he does but what Jesus did... so no shaking!!

There are “reasons” for everything we do as human beings, though it is often difficult for us to understand why we think like we think, feel like we feel, or act like we act in life. Many of the answers for human behavior can be found in people’s temperaments or personalities. The study of the human personality goes all the way back to the famous Greek physician Hippocrates (460-370 BC), the “father of medicine” — he was born during the prophetic ministries of Nehemiah and Malachi, or some 450 years before the birth of Christ. Hippocrates’ work has been researched extensively and is used as a dynamic diagnostic tool in both psychology and psychiatry to this day. A generic explanation of human “Temperaments” or “Personalities” is that all of us have been born with genetically inherited “behavioral tendencies” that are as much a part of our DNA as is the color of our hair; all of us are made up of DNA combinations passed on to us through our parents and ancestors. This fact is important because it helps us to more fully understand our basic behavioral disposition. Even though much of our human personality is inherited, it should also be noted, much of it has also been influenced and shaped by our unique environments. Most scientific research on human behavior suggests that about 50% of the variations in human personality are determined by genetic factors — so our human behavior is shaped equally by our environment and by our DNA. Thus, all of us as human beings have been hard-wired by our Creator (we are not just products of random chance – Psalms 119:73; 139:13-16; Is 44:24), and we have all been impacted by the world around us. Furthermore, according to the scientific analysis all human personalities are commonly divided up into four major categories (with the exception of those with severe mental disorders), and these four types are further broken down into two categories — Extroverts and Introverts:

Extroverted Personalities: The Choleric and Sanguine personality-types are more “out-going,” more sociable, and more comfortable in a crowd, even standing out in a crowd.

Introverted Personalities: The Melancholy and Phlegmatic personality-types are more shy and “reserved” and feel anxious about being in crowd, especially at being singled-out in a crowd.
