Foreign Affairs › Re: Terrorists Overrun Burkinafaso Town With Heavy Firepower In Deadly Attack[video] by Gotocourt: 6:04pm On Jan 26, 2025
TimeManager:
There's a grand plan to destroy Africa and the saddest part is that these ragtags used in killing people are also Africans. I said it earlier that terrorism in getting bigger in BurkinaFaso since the military took over, Russian mercenaries are failing big time. Those enemies of the state rejoicing over Nigeria's attack should have a rethink.

Politics › Re: Trouble In Lagos GAC: Adefuye, Obanikoro Clash Over Obasa's Impeachment by Gotocourt: 5:46pm On Jan 26, 2025
hotseat:
Adefuye may have unwittingly stirred up the hornet's nest, or simply put, made a political blunder that may be of harm to him in the long run.

Siding with the ousted Speaker so brazenly and openly appears confrontation with the very GAC, of which he's a member.

When he begins to receive blows/arrows from different quarters, this singular comment would begin to have its consequences.

He seems to have forgotten that in Lagos State politics, one learns to tread carefully and mindful of one's utterances if one wouldn't be viewed as trying to stop a moving train or acting as a clog in the wheel of the progress of the great State.

We wait to see what happens next!

@hotseat
This is how revolution starts, ask former National chairman of APC Abdullahi Adamu. Sdp took two senatorial seats. Tinubu still sacked him.
It's a gradual process

Ojuntana:
GAC is a looting vehicle
There's nothing like GAC in Nigeria, Lagos or APC constitution
It is a body that's alien to every legal governance or political framework known to Nigerian democracy
The constitution and operation of the body is not subject to any democratic principle
It is simply an umbrella of oligarchs to pose as democrats and preside over the affairs of Lagos state, the richest state in Nigeria for their own benefit and interest
Every political and governance office is accountable to them while they account to no one
Yet youths who are supposed to be concerned about such dark lordship over their democratic affairs are even glorifying it
Their time dey come, looting miscreants.

Some people are tired of Tulumbu hold of Lagos 🤷

It's a gradual process

The council was formed and headed by President Bola Tinubu, which consists of major stakeholders of the party within the state overseeing the affairs of the party. It takes major decisions such as mode of primaries, candidates of the party in elections and even the executives of the party.
Hmmmm, Mafia style

If I were oppurtuned to be Ambode
+ Demolition of Bourdillion
+ Demolition of GAC members houses
+ Demolition of state house of assembly and chase all members outta the state
+ Demolition and bamming of MC oloumo and his minions

Lastly, Tell them Go to Court

RhinoChest:
I think every outposts, especially remote outposts like this one should have a risk assessment evaluation as to what the options could be if assaulted and what the response should be when attacked.

1) Fortification: Say our troops are occupying a remote outpost prone to terrorist attacks, first and foremost thing the Nigerian Military ought to do is fortify such buildings to withstand any direct attacks and give time for the military to return fire.

If an abandoned school is being used as outpost nothing wrong with that but some engineer corp should go out, modify the building to offer protection in case of any direct attacks.

2) Back up:
Why would you post military operatives to zones prone to attacks and not have ways they can call for back up at moment’s notice? Every of our active outposts should have back ups and reinforcements within minutes. Outpost A should be able to assist outpost B within minutes. It should all be rehearsed daily. If outpost A and B are simultaneously being attacked, there should be outpost C that ought to come to their aid!!!! There could also be mobile brigades that could shuttle between outposts.

3) Air Support:

You don’t even need fighter jets, all you need are helicopter gunships that could get to outposts under attack within minutes and repel any attack. While repelling the attacks, ground reinforcements could further aid in repelling the attacks. Two gunships and the third helicopter dropping additional manpower could be all that is needed before more troops arrive.

You don’t need huge budget, all that’s needed are proper coordination and training with the limited resources at our military’s disposal.

Also, there should be cheap drones that could always fly above all our outposts day and nights that can provide advance warning on any impending attack to both the outpost and command and control to send back ups.

i must say that i am impressed with the Nigerian army, big kudos.I think this government has the political will to go after these terrorists/bandits and thats what was lacking in the immediate past government of Buhari.
Political Will is the biggest problem of Nigeria. Buhari played with them and his home state is something else now. Tinubu won't tolerate nonsense as a street fighter, dead body go surplus 🤣. They tried destabilizing Abuja through kidnapping, goverment came out hard. That nonsense have stopped. Shoot at sight makes criminals abandon their activities
