I read the news on FP and he was talking about listing Dangote Fertilizer on stock exchange market by 2028. He also talked about quadrupling Dangote Fertilizer output from 3m MT to 12m MT. He was however silent on when that will be feasible.

If you think he meant Dangote Dertilizer output will jump from 3m MT in 2026 to 12m MT in 2028, then you obviously don't know what building/expanding a fertlizer plant entails. He can never ever do it within 2 years. There are some equipment that will be installed that will take more than a year to manufacture and even more than 6 months to ship & install. Even more time to test and commission.

Dangote is only saying things that sound interesting to potential investors and optimistic Nigerians.

Dangote's annual output is 3million metric tonnes of Urea and he's not even operating up to optimal capacity at present. As at August 2026 when Indorama commisioned their 3rd Fertilizer plant, their annual output is 4.2million.

Guess What ? Indorama Eleme is currently in the process of expansion and will start construction of their 4th fertilizer plant early 2027.

The truth is Dangote fertilizer is not catching up with Indorama Fertilizer soon. The early entrant advantage and the vision of Indorama's management is working to their advantage.

He said will be the highest by 2028. Check his interview on FP yesterday.

Every quarter, all 36 states should be legally required to publish, in a clear and accessible public database:

How much revenue and federal allocation the state received.

How much was spent on salaries and recurrent expenditure.

How much went into capital projects, and exactly which projects.

How much was invested or saved for the state.

Every local government allocation received and how it was spent.

No more vague budget figures. No more glossy press releases. Show the money. Show the contracts. Show the projects. Show the receipts.

And local government allocations must go directly to local governments, with the same quarterly transparency requirements.

Why should Nigerians have to wait for a new administration before we discover what happened to billions?

We have 36 states and millions of citizens. Give the citizens the data and let them judge the performance of their governments in real time.

The greatest protection against corruption is not waiting for the next government to arrest the last one.

It is transparency while the money is being spent.

We need to stop pretending that everything is business as usual.

Nigerians are suffering in real time. Government accountability should happen in real time too.

It's annoying when we keep hearing about stolen steel man-hole covers. Some of us had suggested the use of toughened plastics like Fibre Reinforced Plastic or the Glass Reinforced Plastic as manhole covers. It reduces rusting and more importantly theft. Even acetylated wood with a lifespan of over 25yrs could be used especially within cities. Since evil citizens won't allow us rest. We have to innovate pls.

The truth of the matter is that majority of Nigerians aren't intellectually sound enough to even understand why fuel is being sold at the price it is.

That we have crude oil in Nigeria doesn't mean the price has to be lower. Crude oil is a fungible commodity. A barrel of any specific type of crude costs the same all over the world. So as the price rises internationally, it is reflected in our pumps here in Nigeria.

Secondly, that Dangote now has a refinery does nothing for us. Nigeria doesn't supply him with enough crude and as such, he has to import crude oil. Besides, most of the loans Buhari collected were tied to Nigeria's crude oil production. We are currently using crude to pay off some of those loans. We are struggling to meet our assigned OPEC quarter, we have no where near enough available to give Dangote.
