blaise26abj:if the yoruba faced the issues the igbos faced during the war and post war, they will be worse than the igbos. The war against the igbos has not ended by the Nigerian state and the tribes (yoruba and igbo). Staying in yoruba land isn't much, we are everywhere in the world, even in sambisa forest ( go and confirm, I already did). Yorubas are in igbo villages today and ironically they speak igbo today, something we didn't think possible. It doesn't change the narrative that a war is still being waged on an igbo man. It is unfair , it should stop and we should move forward as a nation. It is that same war being waged that fuels the agitation by the ill advised IPOB of today. The war should end. It is your generation that can end the war. |
MrBlock:wrong. chukwuma and his gang were the front for the enablers of the coup. I can give you the entire names, but that will cause you to not sleep well. There was a first victim, in every war, someone first dies, someone died first, who was he. What tribe was he, would he have died if it was a coup for igbo agenda ? The Times were different my bro, nationalist views had more weight than the tribal views held today. Alot of people were zikists, awolowo and ahmadu were tribal, if ahmadu had to go, why didn't awo also go. Use to tongue to count your teeth. |
EponOjuku:Lol. Go and read the book by the yoruba Coup plotter. Your mother wasn't born during the war, so I advise you to read the book at least it tells some truths. The coup plotters were not tried for a simple reason. Read that book and learn why. It was not an igbo coup. When you try the coup plotters, you will try their enablers whose names aren't mentioned here. The Nigeria you know today would not have existed if that was done. Ironsi knew that, the north fumed at that because it implicates people I won't mention here. Go and read sir. Or attend the classes. |
EponOjuku:I am waiting for your response. |
ransomed:check the biafran war. It was fought on two sides. Against the Nigerian forces and against fellow igbos (saboteurs). It is the weakness of the igbo man. Everyone has their weaknesses. Yoruba people loathe ijebu men, even though they are yorubas. Its an inner quirk everyone has in their tribe, that is internal matter. That doesn't imply that the Nigerian state should continue the civil war against the igbos many years after it is presumed to have ended. It is callous, it is wicked and marginalising. |
realestate99:I might misplace you in ibadan. On your second paragraph that is very true. It happened. It will be an eye opener for the biafran agitators who assume biafra was a utopia when it existed. It wasn't. It will never be based on the manner it is pursued. However it was never an igbo coup. Even after everything, why has the civil war refused to end, even for people like you that your mother wasn't born during the war. |
EponOjuku:wrong. Awolowo could have been gotten if they wanted. They spared him for a reason I can't mention here. The same reason was why they spared azikiwe. However for the other person you mentioned. That was the biggest gaffe and why it was understandable the north felt a betrayal and igbo agenda in the coup. However there was a reason it happened Go and research about it |
ransomed:fact. That is true. This will help the biafra agitators learn also why they lost the war and how fantastic a biafra that once was a nation, really played out against fellow igbos and minorities. On who betrayed between awo and ojukwu it isn't a contest. Arguments can be made for both depending on context and who you ask. |
princemartinsG:get informed. We are not just in lagos, we are everywhere in the globe. Our natural way of life has made it so. Due to poor education, you classify people from other tribes as igbos when you see them in lagos. Igbos have bad leaders at present, history doesn't need to teach that, however a region that faced an international onslaught of destruction with no rebuild will be undeveloped. Maybe that answers my questions on marginalisation and wickedness. |
MrBlock:now he said the original ?? Cmon complete the names joor. Be brave. While at it, please state the name of the first victim of the coup and his tribe. You lots want to distort history as you have done to suit your narrative that it was an igbo coup. |
EponOjuku:true he did that. There are unfortunate events that led to the bolded. Read up about it. Its all part of the history we all should learn. Awolowo was spared, but you point at zik. The person you should have asked why he wasn't killed (which was a big error in the coup), you didn't ask. Now this and many more are reasons you need the lessons. How did ironsi who wasn't in Nigeria come back to head the army. He wasn't the only general at the time. Research the name of the second person, he was in Nigeria, why didn't he take over. Read up the book why we struck, it is a good book by the yoruba coup plotter amongst them, you will understand why they struck and why ironsi didn't try them. |
ransomed:lagos is coming second sir. Anambra has directed this before lagos. Keep in touch with reality. Also your so called history are fables. A long line of fables. Maybe you should take time to read the book by the yoruba coup plotter about why we struck. Maybe that will.help to educate you more on why the coup happened, rather than the ramblings you are doing. |
Oloripelebe:its about to change son. Be patient. Its about to be your turn. Be patient. E go dey sweet us. |
MrBlock:Oh really. Who executed the Jan 15 coup. Name them. Tell us their tribes. Maybe you can have your own history class here early. |
EponOjuku:look for trouble ? You really need these lessons. Ensure to attend it. |
EdwardRandy:well at least those who learnt the right thing will teach them in peer interactions. The level of wickedness abound today will at least reduce to a minimum. |
JustforMen:thank you. The civil war should end. The weapons have stopped sounding in the ranges of hapless villagers, but the war rages on against the lives of every igbo person in Nigeria aided by the same Igbo saboteurs ( leaders) of war time. |
realestate99:its a chance for igbos to also learn about the treachery of azikiwe, but also the negative role and betrayal awolowo played during the civil war. Maybe that will finally end the war being fought against the igbos. On the war end. Read good books and understand why weapons were carried at the time to defend themselves. Attend the classes. |
JustforMen:you are correct. However the war is still ongoing against the igbos. Its high time the war ended. |
tamdun:they will be right to. At least when can know where to start from to appease them and they us. We also have issues against them from history. |
SugarGirl44:ensure to attend the classes when it starts , maybe you will learn at thing or two about igbo leaders of time past. |
Christistruth00:exactly. |
tabaralph:ensure to attend the classes when it starts . So you learn about ojukwu |
realestate99:ensure to attend the history classes when it starts. Learn about your ancestors and their treachery |
Good. Teach the history of the Nigerian civil war. It will help those deluded yoruba and northerners to understand what happened in Nigerian history and how badly they have behaved ever since. Would help to stop the unwarranted bias, hatred and marginalisation of ndi igbo and minorities. The war of guns ended in 1970, yet they continue to wage civil wars of hate, marginalisation, humiliation, threats and wickedness against the igbos and minority tribes in Nigeria. |
![]() He can defect. Wike has shown himself to be a weak person. When he thought PDP will zone the ticket to south east, he went on an attack against Peter obi and succeeded in chasing him out of the party. He now contested the primaries and the same politics he played against the south east, atiku and the North played it against him and he has been crying ever since. He should leave the party and go into political oblivion. He should be aware anyway that, if Peter obi isn't the president next year, it will be atiku. He will lose either way , he is a drowning man holding on to the last bits of his political life. I don't wish him well. Cherrio |
To the obidient movement, The youths have found a voice in being obidient. The youths have found a platform for sounding their voices, the youths are ever ready to show their resolve in rescuing their nation. The youths chose Peter obi and not the other way round, his ideals, his moral capacity and his records are enviable, while resonating with the thought process of Nigerian youths. To the youths , I greet you, I applaud you, this is a fight for your voices to be heard. The naysayers fight everyday to discourage you, they attack you with lies and accuse you of bullying. Don't be discouraged, you are only taking a political position in Nigeria's affairs. However I have to tell you the vision for the obidient movement. The movement must go beyond the campaign and sensitization season, the movement must fight to the very end. The goal of enthroning the youth's choice to lead us will be achieved, however the job is not yet done. The naysayers and detractors are already planning on how to make the presidency of your choice a bad one. Through their terrorist activities. The intend to graduate from naysayers to terrorists, they will attack the land with media lies, sponsored attacks of terrorism, insider jobs with sponsored moles and many more evils they can muster. Be ready for such eventuality when your choice wins, be ready to defend your choice in office, he/she will have it rough at the beginning, but once the enemies of the nation see your continuing resolve to fight for a Nigeria of your vision, they will eventually back away and allow your choice to paddle Nigeria forward. Even after your choice leaves office, the next generation of obidient youths must exercise their rights through the movement to pick the best Nigerian to lead the nation again. The right to pick who leads this nation must always be by the youths of that age. The youths of that age will always be the decision makers on who would pilot the affairs of the nation. Only the competent and morally just of candidates will qualify. Great men and women from all parts of Nigeria, will have a chance to pitch to the obident nigerian youths, they will sell their ideas and characters and the youths will vote to make their choice president and other elective posts. The naysayers will see your success and join your ranks and Nigeria will become great again. Don't be scared of losing, be motivated in expressing your vision. To lose is part and parcel of elections, just as it is to win. The fear of losing should never be an encumbrance to stop you from expressing your voice and choice. The youths will always be the enlightened generation, the detribalized generation, the religiously fluid generation and it is on your efforts and your choices, that every new Nigeria will be built. Ensure that this first journey , which will be a start of a life long journey is accomplished without violence, without tribal and religious hatred, without corruption and with our firm motto of "we no dey give shishi". God is our patron and he will ordain our choices everyday you fight for the good of Nigeria. Be obidient and useful. |

Cry louder. He will lie more. He will be your president. You will cry louder then and your tears will water our lands and we shall eat of the fruits thereof |
rusher14:ok oh. I am in awka. Next week isn't far. Relax |
Christistruth00:since you brought that up, it shows he convinced you. Just as gentle Jack is aimed at people of your ilk. NOT ME |
rusher14:you must be in a cave. Look around you from next week. We about to do a little advert in the southwest. |
