I said mhmm cause I have No idea why I regged this.. all I see on google is clothing material ...but that's not enough reason for me to reg a name... So it's something else but I can't figure it out.... No active business with the name either..... So idk tbh....first time I can't explain a name..

The offer came in the exact same time as Go/leasy did... Also starting at 3k..mind u all my minimum offer is 200$.... I loved this buyer cause he was really nice to the brokers and kept apologizing if he reply their email pass 5 minutes... He increase to 4k last week and accepted to pay ... But he say he dey travel so didn't pay till yesterday.... So it went on hold....

Didn't reg it the day I saw it cause was broke then thanks to auction... So wen kon/cile sale came the next few days I reg am...

Good thing the name 60 day lock is ending in 4 days else person go wait tire.....

Take domaining as u would a full time business and manage your funds well....no go broke oh ....
And u still don't need a large portfolio.. I was doing ok with less than 200... Just have to make sure u put effort to gently finding good names for cheap prices.. slowly ..cause we all don't have large money to enter...

while the 1k portfolio is nice cause even if sales draught dey u will still be receiving offers.....that's the only reason am still in nice profit cause I am not Regging anyhow each name has its own story of why it's regged.....

having small portfolio with nice names u pick well is better than Having large portfolio with bad names ... the profit would also be worth it...

Oh and one more thing... Since that last week I post now wen I receive offer afternic broker sends email immediately to notify you... Unlike before they wait until week 3 wen buyer don run....not sure what changes they made to their rules

Your problems lies on the first page for the address. Look AT MY SCREENSHOT... There are 3 places for countries.. that middle one titled payment country the one I marked red put it as USA .. rest can be nigeria....... It's really that simple. If you can't find the payment country option it's either it's not enabled for u yet.. or you should check other payment details u added before to see which of them they opened it forrrr...

Omo I had no idea it was trademark on Europe until recently na only USA own I searched... So I already lost hope that they will do Udrp but as the name is reg older than their biz I also hoped they would think I was the previous owner and not do nonsense....can't even defend it cause which English word be leasy...

the name obviously makes no sense but I got it for the guys on .de set am at 15k$ cause I thought they owned the cars didn't know na just affiliate something might have priced lower if I did..anyways...Received an offer of 100$ from them a week after I got it on Dan
in may and they no reply me again... So I increase price to 50k$ for no reason .....

Fast forward last week they came with 3k offer I tell afternic broker abeg accept .. Because they have pursued the last 7 offers I got before ..them say ok... Before u know it I saw afternic kept pushing them to go higher and higher suddenly I see it move from 5k to 8k .. and sold lol .....

Turned on boost before the sale and quickly turned if off wen offer came in... Was only testing the boost thing only for the email feature that sends email to people on other extension or that have searched the name before .... ... Might have been it that reminded them might have not who knows....

Oh and one more thing... The name received visits of over 1000 monthly since April... I thought it was bots but when I checked Google analytics I saw it was German people who wanted to go the .de ... I did park it with bodis for a while but got nothing so I remove am jare.....

Please for those that filled the AN payee with Grey USD did you get to the stage 4 of that form cuz that stage 3 is still showing me to fill tax form and I just want to stop at stage 2 and click save....

If afternic has activated that thing for you and u selected Nigeria ...... when you get to page 3 tax form just click the Non Us person option on the right and all you have to fill is name and address...

I observed that with GBP, it's always about $6 short when I do the conversion.

Gbp fees = 5$+3% of total amount+Grey 1%....
Usd fees = 0.9$ + Grey 1% ..

So yes u would only lose 0.9$ with usd

Look at the email I sent to them explaining and their reply..... ( Or like HIScraziness said request for International payee)..

They will open an extra option during adding.. open eye and look very well at the payment screen below it's different from your own oh check am well well third screenshot it shows 3 different places for country .. main country... Payment country and country ... This won't open unless u first contact them oh ..... Then you won't have to fill tax form at all at all simple at abc....


And for next page Make sure it shows Ach/Direct Debit option else u go just lost your money don't go and click anything else ..

Last screenshot below shows how it looks ..... Person just dey lose extra 120$ (3% of sale amount afternic charge to convert USD to gbp oh) each sale with greygbp....

So I didn't reg it oh I just put it in my email say later cause that means it's ugly then....so I left thr,deye and go sleep..... ... as no money to reg am I left it...... Then July 12 after that foundati,on far sale I use money reg am.. can you imagine I waited 14 days to decide lmao .. 10 more days and I woulda lost it......

I have always been someone that don't like handreg cause to dey think of names I no fit my brain fit bust...I prefer taking drops instead but this one was just cause I had extra money and say lemme just touch tho I don't believe in it.... ...and it's suprising tho... Cause wetin this person dey do wey he no reg am since January wen it dropped till now... Even last week he for Even get am sef.... The transfer fee is all you will pay since its not registered at godaddy it will also be renewed automatically no added cost....

For you to register a domain name, what are the things you look out for when doing a Google search of the name?


And does it have to be registered in at least a certain number of other extensions for you to be interested in it?

Things I look out for is if the name has meaning on google that am not aware of or if a serious end user dey that looks like they take their business seriously.... Or nothing sometimes only if the name is good on its own ......

Extension registered don't really matter it's about the name in the end... Unless the name is ugly asf then extension does matter if it has an end user so you know how serious they are if they registered other extensions for safety.....
