Regged cause other extension was taken and it seemed to be a name but Google didn't show any reasonable LinkedIn results for the name so I guess rare name and no interest..... But I pick cause the other extension was reg last year and got renewed this year so maybe someone was building something I don't know ......



Anyways..got an offer 3am for it in my mail from Dan broker the lander was there oh with minimum offer 100$.... Them go ask Dan broker instead .. offering 2750 me I was ready to accept oh... But told the broker to go higher but accept the 2k if them no gree... Before you know it... 7pm reach the end user just hit the bin I pulled from my nose again.... I shock lol........name was max m so clearly not even buying cause of him name ... No idea tho.......



Extras ..

Fact for the day: Do you know alot of end users love words with all the vowels missing... If you check most good one word without vowels they tend to be in use and taken in many extension..not all tho but most.. examples like..

Understand- ndrstnd,com is an ai thing..

Exhibitor... Xhbtr,com ... And so on.. ... Don't go and be regging nonsense oh am just showing wat I saw..
Tho most tend to fall into 3 l or 4 l so u can't even get those
Just put a bin. . Let them know what they are working with.... Some fear make offer cause they think it might mean expensive.... With bin it can be expensive but they can use months to prepare offer that should make sense cause now they can see were limit is..

U also need to understand the amount of end users starting new businesses each year... Or old ones that keep changing name yearly...wonder why abi Dem do bad thing lol... . it's alot more than you could ever think..... And they need domains... 1 person would start 5 -10 businesses in 1 year hoping atleast one will work out.....some go even higher...
Forget all the hate u see sometimes from end users.. alot are super excited when they get a name that fits the business like they are excited like Christmas present kind lol
For some reason I get more offers now than before tho not fake just 100$ or unserious people .....
It's now a tradition for each month to start with 100$ offers that go nowhere..

Names might seem scarce on ed..but no there are names they are just not easy to find in those junks....

Been getting a few emails about filters I use so decided to write about it...


For reference the pictures.

1- Wby( whois birth year that's the last reg date of the domain before it drops)
2- Reg column to show the amount of domains currently regged in other extensions.. if you click it .. it shows more details...
3- Length ..were you specify length you wanna see.
4 Numbers and hypens.. specify if you want it to show hypens or numbers or none.

5- Customizing the year you want to see..a second Wby under common seo that lets you specify which year you want to show... Only 2019.. 2019-2023 1990 to 2000...

6- specifying the amount of other extension a domain must be regged before it shows you results .in the additional bar.... like it should only show names regged in 2 other extensions or 3 and so on...


Filters I normally use.

Length - I like to set it to show 5-10 first then go through that list first ... Then wen am done with that I set it to 11 - infinity so I can also see above 10 letters Later..

Wby- if you click on the Wby itself it rearranges the domains by year I like it to show 1990ss down to 2024.. I feel it's more neater...

Year- .. Do you know 80% of all drops daily is always from the 3 years ago down current year..... That's cause spammers reg alot of crap just to use it for whatever and they don't usually renew pass 3 years... The year before is always the worst...... Cause they hold for one year and drop.. 80% would be from year 2021-2023 .. and 20% is from 1990s to 2020....they are the reason we go through alot of junks..them and rich domainers that reg 100,000 domains at once for some trend .....it's good tho if not everyone will be able to spot gems easily.........

Year- so for year I like to first set it under( the second Wby under common seo) to 1990 to 2020..... Then I look through every name one by one.... .. wen am done I set it again to show 2021-2024.. but remember it's got like too much names I just go to the .. number 6.. check reference ....and set to show names regged in 3 extension and above so my work go reduce.... Then I look.. of course there are gems regged in 1 extension that u won't see but I no fit my eye will break ..


Numbers and Hypens... I don't really mind sometimes I set it to show only hypehs. Or only numbers so I can go through that list later... Tho I rarely pick anything cause eweee oh... Am not sure about those ones.....


That's all I use.....see completely nothing.....I try to use as little filter as possible cause I don't have keywords am looking for just random anything anythinable...




Name picking Techniques 2022-2024..


2022- Na wen I start I was picking only based on what everyone says... Geo like 100 sold only 3 tho I stopped outbounding so understandable
Emds and brandable like 300. Sold 2 in 2022 . And 2 in 2023..so investment and profit phew....and I only enter Ed when I get money like once every 2 weeks...one handreg .. waste sha. I was picking again based on what I saw everyone said to pick .. Random words that pass radio test... Tololo ...Motolo... Ponjugilooo( examples lol not really)... Or rather 2 words that have no meaning together..........In summary I was picking names domainers recommended (am not saying those the domainers didn't help they did... this just a technique story)))...not what end users care abt...5 sales but only 2 inbound really helped...6 months draught.. portfolio..400+


2023- Brokeness hit me and I knew i had to stop picking anything anyhow.... So I started avoiding any random names that don't make sense.... radio test no concern me anymore.... then I focused on that Gd auction/closeout recent sales that show up on everyname like I mentioned last week ....since the ones domainers report isn't enough info on way sells..... Then I noticed how so much sales are random... Alot no pass test of radio.. alot are just crap .... money no dey so I had to be careful and only wen for names that someone can think of on their own..... I don't want Tololo cause what English word will make someone think of that.... I wanted things like Forx.. That someone would think of when they notice force isn't available.... ... Or The perfect blend of two words that still sound like one..... Two And Day... Is Today..... ... Picked like 5 every 2 weeks... Money tight but I checked everyday...... Only time I pick a name I don't understand is when I knew the end user was certain to come... Which is were I sold TrussPay last year.... ... 3 sales total last year and 7 months draught again... portfolio at year end 200+... Dropped all the random words..from 2022

2024- .. The first 5 sales came from the 200 portfolio of last year.... Which was funny cause am used to no sales ...... So my picking this year was with a little more funds .... I decided to obviously keep going the same way last year but this time.... I see names that don't make sense I wil take if I notice a strong end user dey even if na one... Everyone says to avoid that but I wan test..... Like not local businesses end user it has to be serious..... Those were the last 2 ..I sold last week... ... Seeing those sales in gd auction made me see that we keep restricting ourselves to what everyone has sold and works ... And forget that ... That wan no concern anyone na the end users u should be studying..... ...


Despite the amount of filter you use...even if we use the same..... U will still not pick what I pick ....


In a list of 200 names u will stop only one time if you are looking for words you know .. I might stop 30 times to check the names cause I see random stuffs sell.... And someone in geo will only find geo.. emd only emd. And . others...

Am not specifically looking for brandables... Just anything.... End users new product names... A geo that would be amazing (haven't seen any tho the amazing ones don't make it down).... Emd or brandable.... I don't care let it just be a name that has a good chance to sell...

It looks like I spend alot of time in Ed cause of what I just wrote but nope 1 hr highest am out.. else you won't check daily it will get exhausting...


The huge part is to check daily... You will learn to tell what names drop too much .. which one are irrelevant... Which are crap.....

And now sef I can even tell when a pending or auction will not make it to drop cause I seen what names you guys fight over..... So I jejeli go and look for the ones una dey ignore.... Which is why I avoid pending.. good names plenty and u will see them but to have it no.. dragging... because everyone else sees it's good... Na the ones wey ugly until you google am I dey find....

The huge difference between picking names is our history of seeing what has sold or community we part of ..

I go see church name that could have a huge chance of selling but as an Atheist that I am .its not my thing so i delete and run far away as I no like anything religious real life. ..... (Not saying other atheist will avoid sha oppurtunity is oppurtunity just me)


But U go see am and reg....

Just try to navigate the junks in 2023 to 2020 and the amazing names there will blow ur mind.... A expensive company can start this year but someone already regged their .com in 2023 somehow and they can't get it...

People in pending are extremely like more likely to see a name that people in gd auction missed... A name can get no intrest in gd but it enter pending and boom crazy dropcatch and bidding for same name no one saw at 5$ in gd.... Well people at gd want to get their money's worth so they only focus on serious things(sometimes )...

As a newbie try to avoid trends tho.... u don't yet understand the combinations u need for that.. even I don't till now plus I don't want to cause a year after any trend I look at Ed everyone that didn't sell drops... Except ai sha it's not a trend it's always been a thing...Sure 1 or 2 out of 99 sells but what of the 97 that didn't...

Domainers will alot of names can say they sell 2% yearly ..but that don't mean that's all that receives intrest.... About 20-30% of their Portfolio gets offers yearly if they agreed the str would be high.... But price isn't what they want na why.... So don't be relating to them lol.. (we that only sell or not sell and not get that much interest I mean)

Trick is to use less filters so you can see everything seeable..

PS: No magic involved it's just your gut and what you know about end users use... Name that wont be touched 5 years ago are being touched now...

Of course I still have one or 2 secret things I use can't share everything but don't worry the important ones are already here ...

Also not always until you see results for a name on google you will know end user is good .... Just by seeing other extension reg you fit try do small research and know if na new project or the person dey seriou... Tho there are huge domains with 20+ ext reg that are fucking crap.... Try know the difference that's something I can't teach

Sometimes I will be tired and I will just see nonsense regs and just laugh ... Like what is Goat-PU,Ssy and Istandwithelonmusk,com...

They use the .org.... Why I wanted more was cause in Jan their branch ag,mission got the .com from Mike mann and we know his sales aren't cheap... So I wan suck my own suck.... But lost confidence wen the version they own the trademark for which is Ffar....short for foundation,far... Tho na .org they use Was for sale for like 20k so I collect anything jare......I tell am send me counter offer since u no gree go higher make I accept he no do for 2 hours so I decided to send him counter myself he accepted and paid in less than 30 sec... Rich pikin..... um yeah nothing else to add I guess .... Oh and I tried to treat domaining like a full time business and not a side gig tho I never had time for it... Bought from gd auction only bidder for 25$.(was playing with fire... Huge domain bot fit don enter me wey poor to compete...It could have made it to closeouts at 5$ but that 5 day wait I didn't want to do it....

Picked the name cause other extensions was registered the week before auction start and saw she was building some ai for pets on google . No website den sha na this month she launch the site on .Io..

So here's how this happened ..
First week / second week of June received 5 offers

Initially I wanted to handle it myself but as the 5 came the next day after the other I shock and confuse say wetin happen..... so I sent them all to Dan's brokerage cause I go just die lol......

1st offer ... closeout name tho ..1k moved to 2500$ his company uses the .ai .... I didnt accept tho I was broke asf..... then wen all the offers come plenty I told Dan to accept them say no response I said good no problem go away.....

2nd ..dude came with 2k offer on a drop reg.....Dan brokerage reach am he says am not going higher and kinda rude to the broker the broker say ok bring the 2k werey no reply for weeks....he will still come back sha cause he has a product launching in 45 days with the name and don over advertise tire..

3rd is this lady she was very responsive.. and I thought I gave Dan broker say 5k to 29k na floor lmao... But rush rush made me type 3k-29k before u know them agree the 3k I confuse come see say na my mistake..(I had no idea they just accept without asking u if u ok first ouch.... So if I put 5k them go give up at the 5k?? Lol).. ...she took 2 weeks to pay sha.... But she kept calling Dan broker say no vex she go lay asap .. her asap na 2 weeks ..... For the bin wey I put 29k no mind me na vex I use .. plus I was testing to show how despite ur bin as long as make offer dey the end user will send wetin Dem get....same with the others all 10k bin hahahah price pulled from my nose... So focus less on changing pricing left and right and get better names instead.. tho downside is negotiating not everyone likes that.......

4th came from dynadot?? But the dynadot broker come my Dan lander to say make I go dynadot continue which kin stress.. it was 3k offer tho..drop reg less than 3 months ago... I countered but later accept also no response so na Dem know.....

All these 4 less than 3 months hold time

5th 100$ he say he be student lmao he was nice tho and hoped we do biz in future lol... I said no thank u to the offer...

My Portfolio is now 700+..... Now people would say that's why am getting these monthly sales...100% Nooooo......I made sure to separate them....... So remember 200 was all I had in January... And all 5 sales this year came from it .. added 500 more right... But out that 500.. only 100 I fit count say I followed my same model of quality.... The 400 are just those names I avoided last year so am trying to let my mind rest say what if I picked them ehn.... These 400 haven't gotten any offers or sales.... This 4 offers of this month na from the 100 I trust and got newly this year....

So my portfolio is 300 rn.. I go fling the 400 wen time reach lmao . Unless something comeout sha..... Also the Flickerly LTO got cancelled no suprise there free 100$ for me sha ....

Oh also what I followed.

1.Make sure to visit GoDaddy auctions on Ed daily u don't have to bid just look for names u think are cool.. then click am ... On every name u click if u scroll to the bottom of page there is 6 previous sales either related or not related to the name it's like a free sales report fr names people don't report.... U can use completedns to check wen nameserver change to see when it sold....... You can see so much ways domains have sold and stop limiting yourself......

2. Like I said always check Ed drop frequently don't buy frequently only when the name makes you so wet and u wanna have it no matter what...

3. Despite how you could see dry months or people everywhere on all platforms says so or Inflation or whatnots .... A huge amount of domains still sell daily ... If you know the amount of domainers that are not on any online domaining platforms ehn .... the amount of mum and pop business that get emails asking for the domain they use so they can buy it from them and they end up selling..... Because a huge portion isn't reported like when I say huge I mean huge it's insaneeeee ..... Like it's crazy...

4. Why there will always been names people miss .. on Ed domainer A and B go see name like yuoishehis,com and be like trash... Domainer C will say it's ugly but Google search am and boom it's some new ai product lol then he reg am.... Obviously you can't be google seaching all Ed drop names u come across u go die oh... So honestly it's just random eyesight seeing thingy or something.... Am avoiding the word luck ..

5.I don't remember what I wan type lol.... So I don't know.... something about something?? ...this used to be number 3 sha I don remember 2...

They charge 5$ before they send the Gbp then exchange rate is dependent on the service they use that's Tipalti and if u check afternic while adding the account details you see the fees below there is 5$ then extra ftx fee depending on how much....so u got charged an extra 3% cause it's below 10,000$.(am just finding this out now sef omo lol that's alot oh so extra 80$ if na 3000$ omo which means Nigerian usd domiliciary is even better cause they only charge 26$ for the wire) ....so your 642 is correct....

Only way to avoid this fees are if u use the usd account since it's only 0.9$ fee tho the SSN part is what's stopping some people ..Or PayPal...... u can email afternic to explain why if u want tho
