Good evening everyone. Please i have a question around i have framed my reponse to the question on whether or not i have a national insurance number in the uk. So for context i applied and got the national insurance number but never worked with it. But in the question on whether or not i have it the answer should be yes but as i dont recall the number i felt to select no to then add an explanation as part of the additional information. Please i need help in knowing if i should frame my response better. Any guidance would be well appreciated My intended response I currently have a National Insurance number, but I do not recall it at the moment. I selected No because providing the number is required to continue with the application, and I have not yet worked in the UK as i returned home after completing my degree. |
Is there anyone going to aberdeen |
Thanks so much 🙏. justwise: |
Thanks for your response but I mean I registered and got a national insurance number but never worked and don’t remember the number as I possibly stored in a device I no longer use. So I am concerned that if I put No and they later find out that I have can they flag it as deception and me wanting to hide my intentions. Do I put No indicating I do have it but don’t have it stored then explain it under additional information or is that unnecessary. justwise: |
Good afternoon house I am filling the form . is the nin card the same as national identity card and what is internal passport. As an answer to family in the uk , they mean like nuclear family right because i dont have details of my extended family in the uk. For someone that doesnt remember their national insurance number. What can I do because I never worked in the uk and I don’t currently recall the number do I put No and explain later on the form or just put no . |
Pls I have a question about POF. The POF was transferred to my account by my dad but I am using my own bank statement. Do I need a sponsorship letter stating that he is sponsoring me. Also do I need a cover letter explaining that I am being sponsored. Is there a need for letter of employment to prove that I am currently working |
Do we need to have paid for accommodation at the time of filling in the form |

Proof of Funds Requirement (Tier 4 / Student Route) 1. Living Costs From 2 January 2025: Studying in London → £1,483 per month (up to 9 months) → maximum £13,348 Studying outside London → £1,136 per month (up to 9 months) → maximum £10,224 2. Tuition Fees You must show enough money to pay outstanding tuition fees for the first year of your course (or the entire course if shorter than a year). This figure is specified on your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies). So the total funds required = tuition fees (first year/whole course) + living costs (as above). The 28-Day Rule The required funds must be in your (or your parent’s/legal guardian’s) account for at least 28 consecutive days. The last day of that 28-day period must be within 31 days before your visa application date. Acceptable Evidence Bank statements (official, showing name, account number, bank name, balance, dates). If Using Parent’s/Guardian’s Funds You must also provide: Your birth certificate (or equivalent proof of relationship). A signed letter of consent from the parent/guardian giving you access to the funds. Example: Tuition fees: £12,000/year Already paid(For CAS Deposit) : £4,000 Balance owed: £8,000 Studying in London (9 months): £13,348 Total proof of funds required = £8,000 + £13,348 = £21,348 Racheal45: |
Thanks so much Nememmaobi: |
Hello everyone. Please does the University require that you have held the funds for 28days in the account before offering the CAS. Because in my case it is about 20days so far. Also please does it matter if you had spend out of the money during the time but the amount on the account balance is still above the required closing balance |

Hey guys. Just here to begin a discussion around all things adhd from symptoms, treatment and hacks to managing adhd especially given the inadequacy of intervention here in Nigeria. It would be nice if we could all share from our personal experiences so that we could all learn from each other and help ourselves on our journey to thriving. Personally I have been learning a lot about it and can relate with many of the common symptoms. Meanwhile there are also some symptoms that are not covered in the mainstream definition of adhd. So this should be considered before throwing out the possibility that one may actually be dealing with it. Common symptoms include : Inattentiveness The main signs of inattentiveness are: having a short attention span and being easily distracted making careless mistakes – for example, in schoolwork appearing forgetful or losing things being unable to stick to tasks that are tedious or time-consuming appearing to be unable to listen to or carry out instructions constantly changing activity or task having difficulty organising tasks Hyperactivity and impulsiveness The main signs of hyperactivity and impulsiveness are: being unable to sit still, especially in calm or quiet surroundings constantly fidgeting being unable to concentrate on tasks excessive physical movement excessive talking being unable to wait their turn acting without thinking interrupting conversations little or no sense of danger (https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/attention-deficit-hyperactivity-disorder-adhd/symptoms/) If you can relate with 5 of these symptoms then you may be dealing with adhd. But ofcourse this would need to be diagnosed by a professional. But this is meant to be a starting place for us to get talking about the condition . Looking forward to hearing from us all ![]() |
