20h = 800
h = 40m ( the height of the building )
Now, when the ball was thrown horizontally..
(Vy)² = (Uy)² + 2gh.
but Uy = 0 , since the ball was thrown horizontally.
(Vy)² = 2(10)(40)
(Vy)² = 800
Vy = √(800)ms-¹ (that is the final vertical component of the velocity )
But Ux = Vx (horizontal component is not affected by g)
The velocity it hits the ground V = √[(Vy)² + (Vx)²]
V = √[(√800)² + (10)²]
V = √(800 + 100)
V = √(900)
V = 30ms-¹

.....this is a very simple free fall question...we can calculate it in 2 ways....one is 2 step way and other is simple one step way( using formula)..let's do it d simple way first.... The time it spent in air is the time of flight represented as T....T= 2u/g......2 * 50/ 10 = 100/ 10... = 10s...

I think the answer is much tougher.
there's a rule which says you mustn't use more +adjective in a comparative form (taller)
you can only use much+adjective in comparative form (longer).
e.g
tolu is much older than tope √
took is more older than tope × is wrong. (my opinion though).

If not for UI's sudden change in their undergraduate admission process last year which ensured the addition of one's UTME and PostUTME score in totalling an aggregate,you shouldn't be bothered about your UTME score as long as it is 200 or above.

But as it stands now,there are higher chances that this 'aggregate' system of last year will still be retained and as such one's UTME score has a 50% stake in dictating one's admission chances.

Nonetheless, no hope is lost as your UTME score already guarantees you a point of 29.375.With this,I must subtly conclude that MBBS might not be achievable for you again as you'd need a total score of 80 in your PostUTME score before you can even stand a chance of beating the cut off mark for MBBS which was 71.88 last year.

My advice for You is to opt for a change of course to a similar discipline like Vet Medicine or Physiology where you stand higher chances.

But hey,You can always ignore my unsolicited advice.

No my Big Bros.....We don smash Jamb naa......MBBS in UI all the way.The thing is that I'm just focused on my post UTME which is even more difficult than Jamb.

I no de like to de make mouth with every 'little' success in my life.......but the whole nigeria go stand still for me the day I come were this MATRIC GOWN.....lol....and by God's grace I can say that It is already very very close!


Anyway we are all students and we help ourselves........but if you guys think I should post my Jamb score here just to encourage somebody here just like oga PES13 encouraged me.........then I think that just FIVE likes on this post will make me do it so that I will know am encouraging a handful of people..........
