Uberchic1: Paramount has now updated to reflect yesterday's gains. You're right. My subscription has been updated. |

Bluearrow: The truth is every fund manager equity will have bad days. Regardless of whatever happens, I will never advise any investor to put their funds in one fund manager for equity. You can put all of your investment in one fund manager for MMF, but for equity it should be two because every fund manager don't have same stocks in their basket. This week maybe good for Cardinal stone, next week will be green for zedcrest. No fund manager can always have it green when it comes to equity. You nailed it. That's the fact. |

LoriHamo: Thank God I experimented with just 10k in both Zedcrest and Paramount
In zedcrest....any where I click na different figures I dey see....me no come understand again o o
Once it complete their holding period....any amount wey dey remain for me...I go commot am sharperly and DELETE the app
Same goes to Paramount....
Meanwhile I will refund my Cardinal equity and forget the money there ... that app is so user friendly.....
I won't do follow follow and download any yeye app again........
Tueh Cardinalstone app is the best no dispute. For zedcrest, check your wallet, if you have extra cash in there that's the reason for the amount discrepancy. Whatever you have in your portfolio is your equity amount. One other thing I noticed, only cardinalstone give interest on the weekend, no matter how little. This equity thing with different managers dey different. Can't be compared. I attached my zedcrest from last Friday and yesterday compare it with my cs return of yesterday. Despite cs lower ytd, the return was at par or more than zedcrest. I've given up on comparison, I'm just following diversification. |

Smattrader: ESG, by God's grace has been the best for me even the worst red days....deduction rate has been the most friendly when compared to other Equities I have done till date.
My only problem with them is that they operate like novices or people who don't mean business at all.....and they are slow in everything. |

EquityM: Does anyone invest in Paramount Equity? They seem to be slow to update their equity performance. I also funded paramount and zenith yesterday. Fund yet to reflect. Its always the old and popular ones 😩 |

Bluearrow: Their withdrawal is likely to be slow too Their top up is the slowest among all the fund managers I have used so far. Just imagine that! A whole zenith bank. To believe i withdrew a sizeable chunk from piggyvest and got credited within the hour.....and i was very skeptical of fintechs 😃. |

I want to check something please No magic anywhere 😃. Capital is 5m |

EquityM: The CSCS and CHN are for trading stuff; you don't need that for the equity fund. The address stuff is archaic; you can ignore it, and you will be in level 2. Furthermore, LV3, you can only withdraw 1m maximum. I don't have any intention to invest aggressively in it, I'll just play around. Is level 3 after all kyc has been approved? 1m/day? That's small fa |

Niiade: Tried signing up for Paramount they are asking for location access to my house, I don’t understand why because I am currently out of town for burial and it might take a few weeks before I go back. I wan rest for village Hahaha we in the same boat. I just sent them a message to ask if I can start investing and verify address later. |

Uberchic1: I do Afrinvest equity fund on the cowrywise app only. In cowrywise, the % gains of each fund is always in green. When it's a loss, it's red and the arrow head points down. Oh I see. I use the plutusneo app. Thanks |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Gratefulme: 9:52pm On Feb 24 |
Uberchic1: Yeah, Afrinvest even did green. Waiting for Paramount and zedcrest. How do u see the green in afrinvest? |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Gratefulme: 1:48pm On Feb 24 |
Uberchic1: Zedcrest equity fund ytd and portfolio is updated by 1am the following day. But it doesn't have that daily interest thing CD has. You have to be doing calculation yourself to know how much gains you made. CD is goated for that.
Did Zedcrest give you a wealth manager? Yes I do have a manager. I've never had a need to reach out to her tho. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Gratefulme: 10:42pm On Feb 23 |
Uberchic1: Omo, any fund manager that I have to chase after is an automatic no. If they don't respond on social media, or by email or answer calls, I'm running in the opposite direction. Running. Doesn't matter how high their ytd is. I no too like stress.
That said, I'm guessing zrosk with their N5m minimum investment is for HNIs (or close) who don't need to follow up on their investment daily or even weekly. Me, N5m or N5k, I like to be able to monitor my investment and easily reach customer care in case of anything. 😄😄😄. BTW has your zedcrest portfolio been updated today? Mine hasn't. Would be nice to be able to view daily interest like on CS. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Gratefulme: 9:28pm On Feb 23 |
Allboiz: Lol It is when you need your money you'd know that Zrosk's customer service is counterproductive. It's funny you're applauding them for ignoring you. Exactly. I sent them emails to open account with them. Messaged them multiple times on Instagram as well. Nobody has time chasing any fund manager. They ain't even the highest in the market. It took them close to a month to reply to account opening enquiry alone. Ain't gat no time chatting no manager on WhatsApp. They dont need the money so we moveee. |

ezegold4we: Zedcrest has one of the fastest deposits like cardinalstone, they will give you 3 different bank accounts to select from, i do use the one from moniepoint,it will reflect on ur wallet within 2mins. Does moniepoint charge u. I know they charge on afrinvest. I use sterling on zedcrest and like u said they are fast. Also investing in the equity is superfast too. Just topped up this morning and my units has been added. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Gratefulme: 8:16pm On Feb 22 |
Is anyone invested in afrinvest equity. How do I see the daily transaction lists like its displayed on cardinalstone? |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Gratefulme: 9:53am On Feb 22 |
EquityM: Stocks are your personal shares, meaning you execute trades yourself, while equity funds are stocks that are handled by fund managers on your behalf. Before investing in any equity funds, always try and research which stocks are in the portfolio of the fund managers. Once you know these stocks, you can decide to stay longer or liquidate at the end of the year. Thanks for your reply. So technically equity fund can be longterm too. Where I'm confused is don't the ytd revert back to 0% at year end? Is the capital and interest Gained protected during this period? |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Gratefulme: 8:19am On Feb 22 |
People hold stocks for many years, is this the same for equity and the likes? Or should equity be exited at year end to start afresh in new year? |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by Gratefulme: 8:11pm On Feb 20 |
Smattrader: Same here just that, in my own case, it's one day lost. But I will suggest you don't react badly and let it go. I guess they are overwhelmed because they have huge assets, hence lots of sub that take a lot of time to attend to at the same time.
Anyway, whatever you do know that it won't change much and that you can only look forward to green days ahead to make up for the deprived days. Thanks. Appreciate. |

Also in Balanced fund who knows anything about Alpha Morgan Halo's equity subscription is full for now. They ain't taking in more subscribers.....whatever that means 😃. I contacted them and thats what I was told. |
