alpherbeta:Yes I was able to repair it. I went to a big shop in garrison. They tried everything they couldn't repair it, then someone directed me to an on-site shop. That boy was good, reprogrammed the bios and the laptop picked up . It's been working smoothly since then. |
My Lenovo Thinkpad refuses to power on though the power light appears. It has never been opened before and was bought overseas. I welcome any suggestion on a reputable repair company where I can take the laptop for repair. Thank you |
Can someone with a bsc in mechanical engineering but having an msc in civil engineering register in coren under civil engineering. In other words * does coren accept discipline crossover accepted for bsc/ msc holders ? |
Hahjascho:Amen. Thanks Bro |
Capitan01:I'll give it a try . Thank you |
AngelSlay:This is quite uplifting. Thanks so very much for the kind words. |
CodeTemplarr:I totally agree with you. I still set my eyes on further education but first need to settle reoccurring bills. |
I have been working for a Chinese company for 10 years, the salary fluctuates, goes up at times, then comes down. Currently I am earning 150k. Just clocked 40 and decided I face make a drastic change . Bought a bike to join the okada riding business. People are saying it is very unbefitting and mocking me, I have a degree in industrial engineering from Unibadan. But I put that in the shelves and need to pay bills. I have a daughter to cater for. My ex wife eloped to America to remarry a Nigerian working in the U.S Marines. I am just like starting over again. I took this drastic measure quite late, I advice any youngster in a job with no apparent growth potential, to device an escape route as soon as possible so as not to waste irrecoverable years. |
Thanks for the genuine advice. Just that I'm not a woman I can't go through the process of frying so I gave it out. I appreciate your advice though. quote author=Mom007 post=135821147]Make sure there are no droppings in tge garri. If not, refry the garri in a hot pan till it's hot n smokey. Then allow to airdry and store properly. Heat kills germs you see. If u cannot go through the trouble then just throw it out.[/quote] |
I observed a lizard popping it's head out of my sack of garri containing about a quarter bag of garri. I tried to strike the lizard with my hanger and it fell back inside the garri sack. I eventually got it out and killed it. My question to those knowledgeable about food health/poisoning... Is it advisable to throw the garri away or can I still use it? Thank you for your response. |
Also, I work from home |
Thanks for your advice. The lekki apartment is 550,000 per anum but just a room, kitchen and toilet well equipped, secured estate. The 2 bedroom flat is 450k but without a fence and a very average neighborhood |
For those familiar with Lagos please advice me. I am torn between renting a self contain apartment in lekki or renting a 2 bedroom flat at the mainland, (specifically agege)given that both go for about the same cost. The environments and facilities are far apart as the 2 bedroom flat is more else located in a slum while the other environment is serene. I would like to know which is more important the environment or the size. Thanks |
