PoliticsRe: Nigerians On Social Media Mock Lekki Residents Over Recent Flood by Great4God: 2:34pm On Jul 09, 2017
No matter the circumstances, it is not justified to mock people when situations they do not have control over meets with them. Some of the comments here rakes of jealousy and hatred, and it is simply a poverty stricken mentality, don't we know that flooding happens in other parts of Lagos, so why are people so happy it is Lekki, VI or Island in general. Some of these are the failures of the government to see to it that certain things are put into consideration during town planning. I do not stay on the Island at the moment but anything God blesses me to conveniently afford such an environment, I will surely make that move, barring flooding or whatever
Christianity EtcRe: A Rejoinder On Why I Left Christ Embassy Church By Marchman by Great4God: 2:22pm On Jul 09, 2017
Christianity and holiness is an individual thing, We should not try to defend our religious affiliation just because we have to. @ OP, you can agree with me that some of the things the initial poster wrote was the truth, there are certain practices that are very unchristian that they portray. I remembered while in the university, where they usually have one of thier cell meetings around where I was living, the so called pastor or what they call him was living in the same room with the girl friend then,so how can you justify such, and what baffles me then was that they still have the boldness to be inviting me to that same cell meeting, I just kept wondering. Churches build thier doctrines in different ideology but you can also agree with me that CE does not emphasize so much on holiness
HealthRe: No End In Sight To My Medical Problems; I Might Be Dying Slowly by Great4God: 4:27pm On Jul 02, 2017
@OP, I feel your situation, I have not passed through such but how I survived the last quarter of 2016 is still a miracle for me, I experienced so many health challenges, to be honest with you, I could not remember how it all started, I was constantly having headache, body pains, hotness of the body, some movement like ant around my body, so many strange symptoms,I was terrified, I went for every possible test you can think of,I kept repeating HIV test almost every week,I went for every test that has to do with infection,I took so many self medication when I thought the one given to me in the hospital was not working,I kept googling every symptom, every natural medicine, I was taking, any night I sleep for one hour was a privilege to me,my BP was hitting close to 200/110,I thought I was gonna die any of the night. It was horrible for me,I suffered alone as I couldn't even explain my sickness to anyone. I knew what people pass through when they say they are depressed, life was not having any meaning to me, I took black seed,I took honey,my tongue was biting, I cant explain, My mind was messed up. BUT one day I took a decision

I discarded ALL the drugs I was taking, I took hold of my mind, I utilized autosuggestion to bring life back to my self, I stopped thinking of any symptoms, I stopped dwelling on them, I stopped giving them a thought, I was taking more of water and fruits, I consciously decided to work on my mind, I got hold of it,the less I gave those things thought,I discovered that most of those symptoms started disappearing,I just discovered that I was gradually getting back my self, the hotness stopped, the moving object stopped, the biting tongue stoped,I started getting normal again

Sometimes, the psychology around sickness is what really kill, so work on your self, you have been feeding so much chemical to your system, that might be your problem
RomanceRe: Nigerian Men Need To Understand That Some Women Have Financial Standards. by Great4God: 7:37pm On Jul 01, 2017
Any man that knows His onion, that knows where He is heading to should not take it personal when a woman says no to His feelings based on His financial standing. It is expected to motivate you to achieve higher things, anytime a woman says no to me with the impression that I am not capable enough, It pushes me the more to achieve, I always take that as a challenge. I had an experience when I was much younger, a girl I had a strong feelings for told me plainly that I wasn't up to her standard then, I didn't take it out with her, I didn't hate or abuse her, but I simply told myself that I would be back for her,yes after 3 years,I was ready for her and She couldn't stand me again, my capacity, my intelligence, she lacked confidence where I was.I have a deep respect for any woman that knows and defines what she wants,it is never a crime, In life, while we are grateful to people who opened their doors for us, we should also be grateful to those that closed their doors to our face, they contributed to the success we attain in this life, that is only when you are passionate enough to succeed. If a woman ignores you because you don't have a car, it is not bad,She needs a guy with a car for convenience, all she told you was to go get a car and when you do,no be you go enjoy am
FamilyRe: Why Do People Change After Getting Married? by Great4God: 3:27pm On Jul 01, 2017
People do not change in marriage rather, it is marriage that changes people, Let me explain
1. Marriage comes with a change in status-It is actually a paradigm shift from where you have always been, assuming with it a new identity
2. Marriage comes with it new responsibilities-In marriage, you assume new responsibilities, sometimes they are not optional but responsibilities that you will be wholly held responsible for
3. In marriage, you give up so many freedom-Freedom to be independent, freedom to go to anywhere you like without offering some explanations and defending them, freedom to take some decisions without consulting with someone, freedom to relate with anyone you feel like without someones interference and opinion, freedom to stay out late, to come back at your own time or even spend the night where you wish
4. Marriage comes with it some level of interference from outside opinions
5. Marriage comes with it some forms of body changes-A woman gets pregnant, a man being conscious to make sure the wife gets pregnant, sometimes, anxiety come in
6. Marriage comes with it some level of pressure from certain quarters and certain angle
7. The thought of not immediately having an option of walking away in marriage also brings its own changes
In summary, most of the time, people do not sit and decide that they will change in marriage, It is a whole new experience that you don't know when you start going through those changes. There are majorly three experience in life you cant talk about from outside if you have not experienced them, they are
1. Marriage
2. Death of a loved one
3. Poverty and deprivation
FamilyRe: Why Do People Change After Getting Married? by Great4God: 3:25pm On Jul 01, 2017
greatwomenworld:
what prompted my post was a phone call I had with a male friend which turned into a debate .

He is about getting married and says something like one doesn't need to date for a long time before getting married ,maximum 6 months because there's nothing you want to know about your spouse, you will eventually find out everything when you become husband and wife living under the same roof .

Trust me, I debunk the notion because I am of the strong opinion that rushing in is dangerous. You need to know the person you want to settle with to a very large extent before tying the knot. The time you spend doing that, is up to you. but I am particular about the " LARGE EXTENT ".

I used my previous relationship as an example, I once dated someone who if not for longtime relationship and closeness, I wouldn't know that he abuses drugs.
Well, if I had rushed into marriage with such person, I'm sure I would be regretting because this guy was an addict. I cannot stand it.

talking about why people change after getting married, I really don't think that people change, we just haven't discovered who they really are until we find ourselves living together then the true colour start to display.

that's my opinion.

Tell me yours , I want to learn from you, i might have a wrong mindset.

HealthRe: How My Only Child Was Killed By Doctor's Negligence - #JusticeForTobi {Pics} by Great4God: 4:49pm On Jun 28, 2017
It is a pity that you gambled with the young boy's life, I am more saddened by your action than the negligence of the hospital. You had a choice to find a better alternative, instead your were busy taking pictures of the dying boy and the hospital equipment.Which justice do you seek, and from whom do you expect the justice to come from. As parents,we should realize when we are at fault, you owe the boy a serious apology even in His death. You did not do anything to save the life of that young man, leave the hospital and the doctors alone, even the government owed hospitals are in shambles, otherwise, your president wouldnt have been out of this country recieving treatment

FamilyRe: I Cheated On My Husband And I Want To Confess To Him by Great4God: 2:50am On Jun 04, 2017
You need to first forgive yourself, the holy book say" For all have sinned and cut short the glory of God", and also went ahead to ask"Should we remain in sin for grace to abound" and the answer is No
Why quoting these verses, We are human, we are bound to derail-You did, But the good thing is that you still have your conscience alive, you feel remorseful about your action-So you did not remain in that particular sin,Let me then advice you

1. You have confessed to God and He has forgiven you-Just know that
2. Forgive your self-Very Important
3. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT confess to your husband-It wont make things better for Him, for you and for your family, You emphasized that He will booth you out and you are so sure He will do that-The type of person you are from your write up, you can go into depression if such happens and you can hurt your self
If your emotions cannot handle the guilt and you are hell bent on confessing to Him, Are you ready to live with the consequences, If he escalates that after your confession to Him,can you handle the stigma, the shame and the humiliation that will come even from the people that you are better off. As them they talk am, No body holy pass

Give them good water, light and road.
And see if they will not shout Sai Baba
Funny enough, they don't want such,in as much as I can say that the Niger Delta has not gotten the much desired attention from the federal government, I will also say the people them self have not been entirely serious with developing their place and in improving on themselves
