league titles in each of the four countries
where he has managed – his native Portugal,

You would think he talks to God every time
before his wins, however, in a new interview,
Jose says the reverse is the case – he talks to
God every day, but never about football and
never discusses the game with his wife.
Speaking to the Daily Telegraph , Mourinho
admitted that he has a strong faith in God and
he tries his
best to separate his professional and his
family life. The 52-year-old football manager
and
father-of-two said: ‘I believe totally, clearly.
Every day I pray; every day I speak with Him.
I don’t go to the church every day, not even
every week. I go when I feel I need to.
And when I’m in Portugal, I always go.’ What
does he pray for?
“For my family! For my kids, for my wife, for
my parents, for happiness and a good family
life. But I can say the reality is I never go to
the church to speak with Him about football.
Never!”’ Despite his intensely arrogant
persona on the sideline, Mourinho also claims
that he is a good person.
‘I think so. I try to be. And I think I am. I
don’t have problems with family or friends. I
am a good family person; I am a good friend.
I try to support people that I don’t even know.
Do I make mistakes? Yes. My professional
area is not only very competitive – it
iscompetitive and emotional and [you
must] push people for a certain kind of
behaviour – absolutely, yes. But the
professional life is only part of a person; a
person is much more than that.’ Chelsea are
currently top of the league and are playing
struggling QPR this weekend.
Mourinho and his wife, Matilde, were teenage
sweethearts, growing up a street away from
each other in coastal town of Setúbal. They
have been married for 26 years, and have two
teenage children, also named Matilde and

During the meeting President Jonathan had with the Youths in Lagos few days ago, Seyi Shay was singled out for a ‘wrong’ dress she allegedly wore to meet with the president. Seyi Shay who spoke to Saturday Beats said she was however misunderstood with her outfit, because that was not the outfit she wore to meet with the president but the one she wore to perform that night. Hear her;

“I am a very respectable young lady and I was not in any way trying to seduce the President with the outfit I wore. I had two outfits for the event, one was for my performance and the other was worn after I performed. The dress I was pictured in with the President was what I wore during my performance.

“I came on stage and greeted everyone according to their culture and I did the same for Mr. President. He was impressed and he asked where and how I knew how to greet in his native dialect and I said I learnt it. That was what brought about the giggling and smiles in the picture. I’m a performer and what I do on stage doesn’t reflect my everyday life. I had two outfits on that day and it was a youth event. Who wouldn’t feel overwhelmed meeting the President? Well, I did and I felt honoured because it is not every day you get to meet the president of your country.”

After private attempts by Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend Nick Gordon to visit her in hospital have been stonewalled by Bobby Brown and the Houston family, he has taken the desperate step of issuing a public plea through his lawyer. In a statement released on Wednesday, Gordon’s lawyer Randall Kessler said his client ‘desperately wants to be with the one he loves.’

Gordon’s efforts to see Bobbi Kristina have been blocked by the family claims Kessler, with relatives of Bobby Brown threatening to lay ‘hands on him’ if he shows up. Kessler said:

“Nick has been trying, privately, to do everything he can to see Bobbi Kristina cooperatively. He has respected the family’s wishes and for that reason alone has not returned to the hospital and risked a public confrontation… He continues to hope that his request will be granted.’
Gordon reportedly made an attempt to visit his girlfriend after she had been first hospitalized earlier this month, but instead he got into a physical confrontation with her relatives. He sent a defiant message to Bobby Brown and the Houston family just days ago when he had the ailing heiress’s name tattooed across his arm in huge letters. A release from the office of the preaident has ststed 12 reasons why Nigerians must re-elect President Goodluck Jonathan for another term of four years during the March 28 presidential election. This was contained in a piece, titled, “Twelve reasons to support Jonathan,” published in the current edition of the in-house magazine of the State House, Abuja, called Villascope, according to Punch. It listed some of the reasons to include the present administration strides in road construction, railway rehabilitation, remodeling of airports, transformed agriculture sector and increased access to education. Others are increased access to housing, improved power supply, improved water supply, better health facilities, reformed security infrastructures, economic transformation and increased Nigerians’ participation in downstream oil sector. The Presidency said Jonathan met 4,500km of motorable roads but constructed/rehabilitated 25,000km of roads. This, it said, had drastically reduced travel time nationwide. It added that about five million Nigerians now travel by train after the present administration rehabilitated the nation’s railway. On education, it said, “Jonathan built 125 Almajiri schools, 14 universities and special schools for girls in 27 states. “He gave 101 scholarships to first-class graduates to pursue postgraduate courses in the best 25 universities in the world. “He sponsored 7,000 lecturers of federal and state universities and polytechnics for postgraduate studies to improve quality teaching.” The Presidency further said that 61,000 housing units had been built in the six geo-political zones of the country.

Chief Evans Bipi, Member representing Ogu/Bolo state constituency in Rivers State House of Assembly, has openly accused the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state of allegedly stage managing the attack on its rally in Okrika on Tuesday.

Bipi, in a statement yesterday, in Port Harcourt, wondered why the governorship candidate of the APC, Dr. Dakuku Peterside, and Governor Rotimi Amaechi would link him with the attack, saying he was in Bayelsa State commiserating with families of the 11 women, who lost their lives in an auto crash on their way back from a visit to the First Lady, Mrs Patience Jonathan, in Okrika.
He said:
“Let this be a warning to Governor Amaechi and Dakuku to leave the First Lady and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP governorship candidate, Chief Nyesom Wike, and myself, including the PDP, out of their series of stage-managed attacks as their frequent blackmails will always remain dead on arrival.”
Condemning the attack, Bipi said he was going to drag the governor and Peterside to court for linking him with the ugly incident of Tuesday, adding that their allegation was the height of irresponsibility.
“The statement credited to Peterside, the governorship flagbearer of APC, along with Governor Amaechi, accusing me of leading gunmen to attack their rally in Okrika on Tuesday, is most unfortunate and above all, the height of irresponsibility on their part and the APC. I was outside the state when the report of the ugly incident got to me.
“While I condemn the said attack in its entirety, I challenge Peterside, Amaechi and the APC to produce the evidence of their spurious allegation against me, the first Lady and the PDP governorship candidate, Chief Wike, within the next 24 hours or else I will take necessary lawful and legal actions against them and their party,”

Nollywood actress-cum-director Foluke Daramola-Salako and her husband Kayode hosted colleagues and guests to a 2-in-1 event: the couple’s 2nd year wedding anniversary and Foluke’s birthday.

The Xplus actress remarried on 16th February 2013 after her first marriage to her ex-husband, Mr Sobowale crashed. Fellow actresses Fathia Balogun, Bisi Ibidapo-Obe, Laide Bakare, amongst others all graced the occasion.

Speaking about his wife, a so drunk in love, mesmerized Olukayode Salako had this to say:

It is exactly 2 meritorious and challenging years I have lived with her. Exactly on that occasion of Wednesday, February 15, 2012, I took that bold and delicate decision to start another journey of life time with her, knowing full well it is all about God and our destiny.
Though very noisily, controversial and image desecrating in all its description , yet God has been faithful for our survival. Then, almost 3/4 of the world did not believe we were convinced about it.

So, tongues and condemnation wagged. Some even said it cannot last for more than 6 months. But in all, we kept to that conviction that we are meant for each other and that we could sustain it.

It is exactly two years today and graciously our conviction is still as solid and fresh as ever. And Folu still remains my buxom wife.
Foluke is a woman with a pure heart; lovely, kind and straight forward to a fault. She is intelligent, strong and bold, though could be extremely stubborn and daring sometimes.
