All you guys starting to go around the world, good luck to you. I hope what you come away with is that prayer and Jesus Christ mean little or nothing if you don`t have good leaders.
All of you should also know that UK is the only English speaking country in Europe and this matters if you are from English speaking country. English is widely spoken in Holland and the Scandinavian countries but English is not their official language.
As far as work is concerned, don`t deceive yourself expecting office work anywhere in a non-English speaking country, 95% of times it doesn`t happen.
Goes without saying that if you are in Holland and stay in their big cities, things would be more expensive for you. The big cities in Holland are Amsterdam. De Hague, Rotterdam and Utrecht. Generally speaking, work is difficult to find in the North, that is around Gronnigen area, but if you are in Delft you stand a better chance around Brabant. Enjoy Holland, it`s one of the best-run country in the world with zero level of corruption and official criminality that is common in London and USA.
I mentioned it elsewhere, if you want to live in Holland after your studies, better start going out to meet Dutch girls to get married to.. Good luck to you all
That was an excellent summary of how things work in Netherlands.

This must be a joke, the north have the highest number of public school, yet they are the one fighting Western education, they are the one setting Nigeria backward, they have the highest number of illiteracy in the country, so who is deceiving who?

PoliticsEdo Central Deserves To Produce Oshiomhole’s Successor — Inegbeneki by greatfa2013(op): 9:10am On Oct 16, 2015
CHIEF Francis Inegbeneki is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Edo State. Inegbeneki, who is also the publisher of the Mid-West Times, a weekly tabloid based in Benin, in this interview, speaks on the need for Esan ethnic group to produce the next governor of the state.
By Gabriel Enogholase
There seems to be tension regarding the senatorial zone to produce the next governor of the state in 2016. What is your view on it?
The tension was expected. As the election approaches, you are bound to see agitations and each senatorial district is struggling to produce the next governor of the state.
If we have to look at the issue critically from a positive stand point, you will realise that it is the turn of Edo Central Senatorial District to produce the next governor. Edo State has been a very peaceful state and the ethnic groups in the state have lived peacefully with one another. The governorship position of the state has invariably been rotational and I commend our leaders for this.
Chief John Oyegun spent one year and six months before his administration was truncated by the military. But when democracy was restored, the Bini said since Oyegun’s regime was truncated, they should be allowed to complete his tenure and as such they should take the first shot.
After him, Chief Lucky Igbinedion governed for two terms. The governorship position went to Edo Central Senatorial where Prof. Osarieme Osunbor comes from. Unfortunately, his administration was short-lived.
Power shift to Edo Central
After him, Adams Oshiomhole emerged as governor. Now that Comrade Oshiomhole is almost completing his tenure, equity demands that power should now shift to Edo Central. Osunbor only spent one year and six months.
The argument against Edo Central is that the zone is the least populated with 16 percent of the population unlike Edo-South and North. What do you make of such argument?
• Chief Francis Inegbeneki
• Chief Francis Inegbeneki
Such calculation does not add up. The so called numeric strength of Edo South was created by the late Abel Guobadia. I don’t want to dwell on that anyway. Our son Prof. Oserhiemen Osunbor won the election in 2008 because Edo South voted for him and Edo North voted for him. There is no section of the state that can win election without depending on others.
I am again, passionately appealing to our brothers in Edo-South to support us. The South has produced the National Chairman of the APC, they have the Inspector-General of Police and also a ministerial nominee.
On the recent defection of prominent PDP members to the APC
The APC is the party to beat in Nigeria. We have been yearning for change and APC is the only party that can bring about change. That is why everybody wants to belong to the party. However, we will be closing our doors soon against some elements.
Would you say that Oshiomhole has been fair to Edo Central in the last seven years?
I will say that he has been good to us. But I am appealing to him to do more because we need more developments in Esan land. In the area of school rehabilitation, he did well. He also reconstructed the Ewohimi/Igueben road that was abandoned for over 35 years. You can now drive within two minutes from Ewohimi to Igueben.
Important positions
There is also Usugbemi/Ugbegun road that was also fixed. We need more roads to connect our communities. If all governors had performed like him, the story would have been different today. I can tell you that in terms of appointments, he has been very fair to us also.
The Head of Service who is the number four man in government is an Esan man. We also have Esan sons occupying important positions in his administration.
On President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration
Four months is not enough to rate an administration. The PDP almost destroyed this country. And it is going to take some time to fix all these things. I want Nigerians to be patient with President Buhari because I am hopeful that things will get better. His pace may be slow, but things are looking up. We must not also ignore the role played by former President Goodluck Jonathan in ensuring that the country is on the right path today.

emmerks:
To all those on this thread, to those in Netherland, and to the intending ones; I will us to take a critical look at moving to Netherlands. Is it really worth it?

1. We spend a lot to get the Visa, I know what Nigerians go through before getting Visa in Ghana
2. The large sum spent on flight is another palaver on its own
3. You discover that though Netherlands is not so much a racial community, you will only find large concentration of blacks in Amsterdam
4. The balcks over there are in either barbing, driving of Taxi, or other related services. You just don't get jobs like we do in Nigeria
5. The schools here are nice but expensive, but after school, what next?
6. Most of or guys here in order to have a foothold have to marry the Locals either you like it or not
7. The weather is not as friendly as ours
8. I discovered that most moving out are either in their late 20's or early 30's, when do you want to settle down down and start enjoying the joy of family life.
9. Learning the Language is another thing you must do before you have any headway. Infact you must pass their exam.
10. For the first one to two years, it is evident that one can't do anything because of language barrier

After going through all the above, what do one end up as? I have taken my time to go round and discovered that most blacks don't work in offices. This is not to discourage those intending to travel to Netherland but to get them prepared for what to meet here.
Dude point of correction, there are black who work in an office, those you mainly see doing the kind of job u mentioned in your post are mostly uneducated one. Although at first it really difficult but with time it is easy. And also if u see, u can't afford the education anymore, it will be wise to move to Germany because it will be easy then

almost all your analysis are trash, your didn't talk about security which Nigeria greatly lack, please no disadvantage there when compare to where how country is.
even most of how food can be seen everywhere in afroshop. if you have the right document and the right qualification, job is always there for you. this only happen when u are in the country with fake document or illegally.

joannes7: go for known name brands and most importantly they should be unlocked Cus its getting harder unlocking phones here. blackberries used to be sure fire sell products but with this bbm thing coming to android, it may be an issue so play safe. HTC, Samsung phones are sure sellers. the occational iPhone is also OK. if ur price is right and ur ready to work, people will pay u CASH at Ikeja for ur lot. thats how I do it and I now have my regular buyers. the highest I wait for my money is one week. phone biz in naija is CRAZY! an average man in naija has 2 phones and is still thinking of upgrading. if u want to be a career person, it would also work to ur benefit by the time u have regular buyers. opportunities are boundless.
Brother, I say thank u again, I don hear ur adverse, are u on bbm or whatsapp, so make I fit add u, to see waitin we fit do together or other adverse.

Thank you brother for your adverse, I doing that phone own but hw can one expand it so that, you don't need to be selling it one by one, and to ur own opinion what kind of phone will be more sellable in the market, although some phone will be coming to nigeria this week.
Because, he want to see if he can be shipping it in container, custom is there, what will be the problem with this kind of business?
All any other kind of business?
