Oh boy I sold everything as soon as I got that alert. Thankfully I caught it within 10 minutes from Telegram. And this time, I'm not buying the dip because who knows which companies will want to make environmental point now. Let me give it a few days to settle.
That's true. Thanks for the idea. I was planning to add to my hodls. I will wait and see, too.

All I see here is an agenda to make Zouma look bad.

Makes me wonder, if the roles were swapped, who would be blamed? If it was Jorginho that passed to Zouma, and Zouma made that final pass that led to the goal, who would be blamed?

I'm sure we must have read 10 or more pages of Zouma slaying.
I am sick and tired of these agendas here.
I know people who would have given some blame to Christensen if he did what Zouma did, even though they are not blaming Zouma today. I know people who would have given Rudiger some blame if he was Zouma in that position, even though they not blaming Zouma today. All these agendas are sickening, to be honest.

All I know is I’ve seen that type of passes a lot of times but never led to a goal, ask yourself if Gilmour or Kovacic was in same position would it lead to a goal, 30 year old spineless player. Zouma did what I see lots of CB’s doing and their respective DM’s handle them
I don't understand all these. Normal jorginho that we have seen this season will still handle it without problem. It is just simply a mistake, and every player makes mistake. Kovacic can make the 7mistake, gilmour can make it.

And I'm not sure i have seen the same jorginho do the same mistake since Tuchel came.

We play that pass many times a game. The expectation there is to give it to the keeper if you can't do a half-turn

He fücked up the pass to the keeper partly because he has no confidence in his half-turn. A better midfielders first instinct will be to feint for the half turn and spin out. If he has confidence in doing that, he won't rush to pass to the keeper like the ball is a hot potato and fück his pass up
I know say you go chop and swallow the guy today.

Zouma is actually good in that type of situation, clearly one of his strengths. Chelsea official YouTube account even has a compilation video of his top last ditch tackles
That is true, but he has also had some instances that it didn't work out well for him, but some of us called him names those days. That is the koko.
Those kinds of tackles are dangerous and risky, and should not be what a defender should be advised to be doing always. They are always supposed to be last resort. We shouldn't be finding ourselves in such situations where we need those kind of risks to avoid a goal. But of course, Zouma has had considerable positive results in those kind of challenges.

We now play a serious positional game, especially in defence. When one man leaves his position for adventure, their is another man who knows that he is now responsible to cover him immediately. That is why Rudiger can easily run with the ball to the opponents 18 without fear, because the moment he leaves the position someone else has covered.

His judgements in crucial moments need to improve as a single blunder like this could cost us an important match. Same as Zouma too when he misjudged the ball and allowed Sterling to set for goal, only lucky not to have caused a Pk.
From that play you can see that he has improved from his ball watching and taking initiative. You will see that he followed that Jesus run for him to even be in that situation. Few months ago, he may not have known that as Rudiger was not in position it was left to him to cover. He followed the Jesus run perfectly but misjudged the movement of the ball. And it was not easy for him, because he had to do more to outpace Jesus.

What was Christensen trying to do there? He is just light like a feather.
Try and watch that part again. He didn't fall because of the little touch that Jesus gave him, he fell because he was accelerating in a different direction and the ball was going in another direction but he wanted to stop it, but the balance wasn't there.

Do we apply the same critique when forward players take ambitious shots from 30 yards in hope that it might find the net...and it does? That too is a 50-50 chance that will get people cursing if it didn't find the net.

When there is an art of defensive ingenuity, let's praise it for what it is. Yes it could have gone wrong but it didn't.
You don't get my point. I'm happy that he got the tackle right, but will you be happy if had failed?

It is a tin line between getting it right and failing in some of these situations, so it is right that we understand what is involved in such situation.

You are calling it defensive ingenuity now because he came out successful. We have seen him conceding penalty for trying to do just the same thing but failed. Did we spare him the curses of being reckless and clumsy?

We just saw Chris attempting to do something that maybe you would have called defensive ingenuity if he came out successfully with it, but it failed and everybody is calling it brain fart.

Walahi....Just like assists on goals, a metric needs to be invented for challenges like that.
But if he had missed and mistakenly fouled Kun, we would have been calling him names by now. Calling it brain fart and all, how he shouldn't have done it in a dangerous area, how he gave away a cheap goal or free kick.

We should understand that many a times these things are just 50 50 and players are just lucky sometimes to come out of them with success.

After a very solid display...one brain fart cancels it.

Should've just used his head, or stayed in his man.
Watch that ball again. The movement of that ball beat him as he was accelerating and couldn't have tried to stop that ball in any other way. The only thing he would have done was to allow Jesus to beat him and then he can return to try to challenge again. That would have avoided the injury.

This Salah can be very selfish many a times, and it can really be annoying. Just look at a pass that Mane even gave him instead of returning it to Mane in a cutback he decideed to try from a difficult angle. That's how they cost their team sometimes.

Those old cargos in Madrid that doesn't like anyone that earns more than them are holding that club back.

Even though they sign Mbappe, Ramos will still take penalties; they will still pass more to their man Benzema. They didn't want to rate Hazard hence they didn't build the team around him. I even see Modric trying useless side-footed passes to that average Vinicius.

Kante made all of them look even older than they are and that gave me orgasm. They think it's by flexing muscle against teams with express road as defense line like Barca.
I thought I was the only one that have been noticing the thing. I was happy they were not passing to yesterday.

His case is a sorry one. He looks an utter shadow of himself from his Chelsea days, and nothing seems to be going right for him.

I seriously do not see how he can hit peak form anymore. Not like her has age on his side again.

And one big saving grace he has is that there aren't fans in stadia at the moment. Real Madrid fans are known to be ruthless - even CR7 hasn't been spared harsh treatment in the past.

If only he turned up at Real Madrid in top shape. Secured his dream move, yet he came in overweight and he hasn't been able to recover since.

Sha thank God we enjoyed the best of him at Stamford Bridge.
His problem now is no longer about turning up overweight, it is about not fitting into the team, and his manager's limitation.

Let me now calm down to reply this unnecessary verbiage.
First of all, my anger then was geared towards the management for their sheer deceit towards the fans. After all, they did promise to embark on a long term project with lampard and then dumped him at the first bad spell.
Never you forget that lampard did after all supercede expectations last season and for some spells earlier this season, did make chelsea look unbeatable until that unfortunate inexplicable slump in form. And most importantly, cultured our best youths on the biggest stages.

In hindsight, the managements decision seem to be a good decision seeing as Tuchel has won us over with with his tactically astute and well organized team set-up. But one can't still help but wonder what happens when that dreaded slump or bad spell comes.
This is football. Every team no matter how good is assured of having bad spells at a certain point. Even if Tuchel wins us the FA cup and the champions league this season, will that save him enough credit in the bank when that time comes?? As a chelsea fan, you truly cannot answer that question.
Liverpool are still having a bad spell, yet they stuck with their manager. Man city had a bad spell earlier in the season, yet they rightly stuck with their manager. Likewise united.

I'll repeat what I said months ago. Being a chelsea fan can be pretty emotionally intensive. Almost every biannual season, we go from an absolute high to an absolute depth. A cycle that always triggers a managerial change, which of course is very sad seeing as the outgoing manager must have won us over with his preceding efforts. It involves us having to start from scratch everytime.
I yearn and wish for stability. The board needs to be clear eyed when hiring a manager. They need to be sure of what they're getting into and the achievable targets for their new recruits. For instance, they knew lampard was a rookie but they hired him on the basis of granting him enough time to; play good football, nurture our academy players and SUBSEQUENTLY win trophies. Half way down, they betrayed that promise. Likewise sarri. They start a process and never give the project time to materialize.

I am very happy with Tuchel now for his efforts. All of us can agree that he has set-up a team that is now very hard to beat. A team that now shows and holds a lot of promise for the future. And my most fervent hope and prayer is that we remember these moments very well when he is at his lowest and trust him and give him a chance to reproduce these moments.
You are on point.
The problem usually starts with signings after winning a trophy. Tuchel has said that he has ideas for next season. Now, he may want to sign a new striker, a new play maker and maybe change formation, but you will see the board telling him that the investments they have already made in Havertz, Ziyech and Werner is enough, that he just needs back ups. You will see them signing matabisiluubishi instead of Kane that was requested; matt maizagala instead of a top CB that TT may request for.
Chelsea management is the problem.

I don't know why Chelsea fans are like that. Small off form na sell him, sell her, sell everything and bring this one. Before you know it the one that was bought will become worst than the one that was sold.

That was how they wanted hazard to be sold in 2015 that he was having a bad season, joining rival fans to call him 1 season wonder, even though he had had 2 great seasons before that.
