donstan18: Big teams can’t have good histories and glories without smaller teams. I can’t imagine repeatedly and constantly playing top European teams in the name of Super League. It’ll be boring at some point and the placed-value on big games will gradually disappear.
Big team vs Big team games will just become ordinary at a point.
Perez got motives!!! That's what I was saying the other day. |

Capaldi: And why do you think Tottenham and Arsenal will always be at the bottom of the table with the revenue they are going to be getting? They can easily purchase better players and go toe to toe with the other clubs. You do know it's 15founding clubs and other 5 invited clubs right? It's drafted ten clubs into 2 groups then with play offs. Well, Man utd, PSG and City have been spending the money for some years now, yet no Ucl all these years. Man utd especially does not have even local league to show for it and you think Super league money will be different? It is not always only about the money spent. |

Capaldi: How can it get boring? Imagine beating Arsenal and Tottenham Black and blue every of the season and they are always at the bottom of the group, but somehow, they never leave the competition, and you still see them the next season. They will just be collecting their qualification money every season and be cleaning mouth. They may not even feel like winning the trophy self. |

Liposure: Personally, i'm not in support of ESL because it will kill the passion and unpredictability of the game. Who wants to see chelsea vs barca every week without not getting bored. I understand its all about making money but for the sake of the fans and football at large these big clubs should come together to try and reach a compromise with uefa. Exactly. It may soon become boring. And the matches may no longer have the appeal we think it will have on the long run. But who knows. Let's just watch and see. |

Havertz10: that's not true, the real creator is Bayern Munich, they asked an international law firm to do research on if it's possible for them to leave Bundesliga and create a super league, the law firm said yes and told them that players are also signed to the leagues as well as the club in their contracts, since the major teams are the ones giving their leagues relevance, all the power rest on the club
Because in Germany fans must own 51% of the club, Bayern is acting innocent here to avoid backlash, they are the real originators of this league, psg refused to join because their president is uefa paddy
As for real madrid, some American investors told them how much each club can generate and how UEFA is holding them back, they spread the news to the major clubs hush hush and they all agreed, for clubs to go against uefa they know all the ifs and buts, nothing fifa or uefa will say will scare them, they know that 70% of global fans love those clubs, the names, the crests, the stadiums and history
Una feel say these clubs are joking, they are going to revamp the champions league, make it more competitive, profitable for themselves with easier mode of qualification for themselves or they will destroy everything, poker at play here
Super league is good, because it will make local leagues more competitive, smaller teams will have goals to aspire for, if you get a slot, you make serious money that will change your club forever, build your club and grow, it has plenty benefits not just for the founding clubs but for tv viewers cause it will make leagues more competitive and it will make winning the pinnacle of European football more difficult and more prestigious
fans and viewers need to understand that we support the club by buying jerseys and paying tv subscriptions that the club gets revenue from but the club is owned by it's owners and if the owners say na so they wan dance, una go wail till tomorrow, na so the club go dance, go and ask Valencia for update Well, I fear that it is the beginning of the end of all the money madness in football. Football may quickly lose it's value. |

Ibime: Since this is our last season in UCL, we have to win it.
Money or no money, I don't like the idea of European Super League. League wey go be like Yankee sports, no promotion, no relegation. No top 4 to aim for because you are already in the European elite competition. So if you are not in contention to win the league, the season will be dry as fück. I guess they'll have to introduce Playoffs to liven up the season. This is bolløcks. I don't support it too. I just got a notification from 5th Stand this morning that Chelsea are joining, and I don't like it. Maybe, I have not known the full details of the competition, but this 12 founding father of a thing that I read just felt to me like how the UN was formed. And that kind of thing, I don't like. Just imagine an almost getting to average club like arsenal playing every year just because they are the founding fathers or whatever the nonsense they are calling it. With Perez being the chairman of the whole shit, I suspect a personal power tussle with someone that he wants to drag other people in with. |

thorrvik55: Comparing De Bruyne's eye for a pass to James?? Lol Debruyne that would drop the ball at ur feet and all u need to do is stretch leg and it's a goal??
How many crosses does Chillwell, Odoi, Alonso put in per game?
James is best suited as a RB and not a WB may be you need to go and watch kdb when he was still young. What you call cross spamming is what he used to do. You only become perfect by practice. BTW, I have made my point. His attacking performance have dropped. |

BlueMann: No too much shalaye
J5 and El Monstro were immense.
Mount, Azpi, Kante, Rudiger..massive shifts, well done.
Werner and Ziyech were largely underwhelming, but they combined for two goals - though one was ruled out. James okay, Chilly disappointing in offense but he was okay as well.
Story over. Everybody go drink beer I have been observing James' annoying offensive performance for a while now and I'm not happy about it. The crosses have reduced, annoying back passes, and not running behind defenders for through passes. I don't like it. |

nihilistjnr: I like the mount, Kova, Kante midfield tbh, but the vulnerabilities in defence would make it difficult to play 433, and the 352 would be too narrow for the strikers we have - Werner dey shake under close pressure, and Giroud no get pace to run the channels.
By the way, our strength is in wingers, we pack them boku. I prefer to cede the midfield and concentrate on exploiting the flanks which plays to our strengths ceding the midfield is like ceding the tie, honestly. That kroos, casemiro and modric will just run us rugged. If we can hold that midfield, we don win. Madrid defense and attack is in that midfield. We don't need Asensio running unto those passes from kroos and modric, or casemiro hitting shots at our goalie. |

nihilistjnr: It's an interesting conundrum
The issue for me is this: As far as I am concerned Hudson must play, Pulisic must play, Werner must play, Mount must play.
343 does not have the same problem as 4 at the back. When you attack with fullbacks playing 4 at back, you leave only 2 men at the back to deal with counters. You dont have that problem playing 3 at the back, which is why Conte played an out an out winger, and a slow and defensively suspect fullback in the WB positions when we won the league.
Chilwell would do a job at LWB of course, but I would have preferred to play Puli there to use his ball carrying skills
Our back 3 picks itself imo - Rudger, Chris, Azpi. I don't know why you guys are scared of Madrid. The only potent part of Madrid is their midfield, which Tuchel can settle with playing 3 midfielders. Either, mount, Kante and Kovacic (most preferably) or Kante, jorg and Kovacic. 352 or 433 will do the job. For 433, front 3 can be Ziyech, Pulisic and Havertz, midfield - Kante, Kovacic and Mount. James Zouma Silva and Chilwell. With Madrid, our aim should be to load them with goals before they say Jack. Because their defence is always open due to Ramos running away looking for where to score. Our counters should be swift and hard. By 60 minutes we can be 4 goals up. That is why Pulisic should start that match, because he can always steal in at the far post to score tap ins, which will present itself in many ways. |
