oga, how did you deal with the PayPal verification on Scribie, since the link is not going to have the "ls" like for Lesotho account.

Won't PayPal detect and block the account if we login through the Scribie link?

I have settled for the lesser of 2 evils (if there was any such thing). I read the crap mostly Easterners say about Nigeria's current president and I laugh. My greatest joy is that GEJ is out and PDP are gone for the foreseeable future and beyond. People who support GEJ are mostly ignorant anyway so they are forgiven.
Well, we can say that every politician anywhere in the world is evil, since their still be some good percentage of people that will call that politician evil for whatever reason they have.

My greatest joy is that people who are still with brain in this country have seen or are beginning to see that the worst thing have ever happened to this country is this present government.

Anybody still supporting this present government at this time, needs a serious brain check, in fact, such person needs a spiritual deliverance.

Register with another email and see whether that will be taken to the beta version.

I don't pray to go to that beta version because of that Ai stuff. I like this older version. I was initially on the beta version but was kicked out because of poor ratings. Now, I'm few 5s from getting a gold badge despite the fact that I don't transcribe everyday, sometimes for a week.
after being hit by the AI bug twice, I have learnt how to deal with it. It usually shows signs when it wants to hit.

Usually, you start having to return your cursor to where you initially placed it, after it must have jumped from there to the end of the transcript. When this happens severally, always know that the AI bug has come.

What I do is to reload the page for like 2 to 3 times and then delete the rubbish it has done and continue with my job.

Anyway, I just sent an email back to the help desk requesting that my account be reinstated. I just pray that they should consider me.

Which one is the beta version? Is it the one that worked well on mobile? Since I created a new account 3days ago, I've not been able work on my phone. . It's just complicated.
the one that is not like the one shown in the training video.

I don't think there's any need for multiple accounts. Just make do with what you're being given. Some sites like REV and Verbit use the old platform.
my issue is that I can't work well with audios that are not playing full and continuous. I need that to be able to work well.

I've been kicked out once too. Joined in November for the first time, was kicked out, took the test again late December and it's been fair ever since. Getting close to being a Goldie.

But wait ooo, all ye Veterans in QA World that transcribe 10mins call within 30mins/1hour. What type of AI do you people use because I tried using Otter but it didn't work for me. It looks as if Otter is being synced into the Beta platform because there's really no difference here. I wanna be good like you guys oooo.
so you got the beta version in November when you first registered?

Before the one week elapse? Or after
I thought it would be 1 week, but it was 2 weeks. Although, I sent them a mail requesting that it be made 2 weeks as stated in the FAQ.

After the warning I worked for 2 weeks.

if you are sure that you can build your average rating to reach above 3 as they recommended, then you should continue with the account.

Well, I'm more like a newbie myself bro, I started out not quite long. After I did their tests, I immediately started transcribing on the Beta platform. There was nothing like migrating to Beta or anything like that for me.
I also was on the beta platform before 3 weeks ago, but things changed after I was kicked out and I opened a new account.

When did you join?

The Upper management will decide that. Right now, you need to make do with what you have bro.
big madam has already told me that there is no timeline for when they will migrate everyone, but I want to have an idea of when it may be..

I researched on the average time people usually take to test a beta version and the average I saw was 12 weeks, so I want to count 16 weeks from the time it was first introduced, so that I can have a time line for myself.

What I want to know is the time you guys first noticed it?

cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy
I just can't transcribe without having to continously play the audio. That way I understand how things are going very well, if not, I will get a lot of mark down for missing content and misheard.

The new account that I have created, I don't want to see any 1 and 2 rating close to it.

So, can you please tell me when the beta version was introduced, so that I can count 16 weeks from there to know when I will start transcribing?

Seasoned guys in the house, please, when was the beta version of the QA platform first introduced?

I want to have an idea of when they will make it available to everyone, so that I will know when to resume work.

I hate this old one with passion. I hate that I can't listen to the full audio playing continuously.

I could only get one 5 rating with the blocked account.

The greatest challenge for me has always been the inability to understand what this guys are saying sometimes, especially when they speak with low voice.

Na misheard words, grammar, sentence structure and some capitalization dey finish me.

Although, I just installed grammarly recently.

yeah, very possible. All these Square, Penn Foster, ISSA etc calls can be done fast.

if I add a new email to my PayPal account for my new QA account, will I still receive my payment from the former email that QAWorld still has for my sacked account? Please, someone should help answer me this, so that I will know if I should still work this night or wait until after receiving my payment from the other email before I start work.

wow. seems like this is what I will do now, so that I can see if I will get the beta version of the platform.

Wait, do you have 3 separate PayPal account, or did you inform them that you want to be sharing PayPal account with someone?

No biggie

At one point or the other it has happened even to the top guns here. Just get a new email and start all over.

TBH even QA will be disappointed if you just packed up and disappeared.
the same thing happened to me while I was working on a 19 minutes call.
I have already opened a new one, but what is annoying me now is that what I got this time is the old QA platform that don't load the whole audio at once.
The thing is pissing me off. I like to continously play the audio, that is the only way I can work.

Guys, is there anyway I can get the audio to play continously?

We are all saying the same thing but to be sure, two feet down can never achieve the same perfectness of right-angle as one foot down, although you may not be able to note the difference without accurate measuring tools.

If your leg is exactly 1 metre long from your groin to heel, every degree you deviate from forming a perfect right angle with the ground will remove 1.7 centimeters from your height (sine of 1 degree multiplied by 1 metre).

But don't forget though that the argument started from a picture comparing two players - one standing on one leg, and the other standing at ease.

In summary, closing your feet helps to get closer to a right angle but not as perfectly as standing on one foot. Both arguing parties have come to the same conclusion but na stronghead make argument continue when they both agree.
The conclusion of all these is this: if in any way VVD is taller than Giroud, the difference will be very insignificant that there shouldn't be any case if Giroud out jumps VVD.

From what I've read from last page to your post, Airmark is not wrong. See, what Airmark is saying is that when your height is measured in a STRAIGHT POSITION (which is the official and universally accepted way), raising one leg won't add or even reduce your height. No expert takes your height measurement while you're standing at akimbo or with some angles between your legs.

When your two legs are closed and are straight and your height is taken, raising one leg up doesn't alter it. It's when you're at akimbo like the diagram Ibime posted, that your height increases when you stand on one leg coz you'd be forced to stand erect. It's just common sense.

To confirm this, walk into a hospital near you and tell them you want to measure your height. The expert will tell you to stand beside the measuring equipment. Now, consciously part your legs a bit and you'd see that the next thing he or she would tell you is to close your legs together and face front without looking down. These measures are to eliminate any factor that will reduce your actual height. After taking your height measurement, raise one leg up and no inch will be added to the new measurement.

The pictures of the players posted while they were standing at ease won't tell you the full picture unless the disparity in their heights are much.
you know, because it is airmark, some will want to be against him, so that they don't get associated with the "citadel" thing.
