Hi Seun, I am really displeased and disappointed with the treatment I have gotten on nairaland,

I became a member of nairaland since when I was a teenager and I even introduced most of my family members to the platform because it was a community to me.

Few days ago February 12th my professional account with the moniker Temitunz was banned by a mod for 10 years that is 2035

Yeah , the said it was flagged for spamming, I knew I defaulted in that part because after commenting on a football section on the front page. I advertised my services under there. Which I didn’t know it is against the law as I see some people do that too in their comments.

I was shocked to see I was banned without any previous warnings. Which I think was a rash decision.

I have written a couple of mails to the supermods asking for an appeal for that decision because it was out of ignorance. But I have been snubbed consecutively. Please I would like for the issue to be resolved and my account restored back

I know I am not the only one in this type of situation but I think there should be warnings before any ban , and banning someone for 10years is very absurd and barbaric.
