You can still turn up after the date to pick it up. After the date given for pick up it means is now available and ready to be picked up any time.. Once you get to there place u would submit the slip that has your passport data page upstairs, and someone wud get it and look for your passport for u. So u are still good to go after that date given for it to be picked up..

@phema this people want to see that u have a job even 10million Statement of account might not get you a visa sometimes. You need to show you av a job you need to resume to after your visit. Try and get some ways you could get a company letters if anyone could help and an account that shows how money been coming in. U can't just said u sold a land and u wanna travel. That means once u get there you wanna get settled since u don't even av a job here. So try and see if you could get some one that owns a company to help in that. Don't just lodge money in account trying to prove you can afford your trip. My 1pound

@retailcity01: before you submitted your application pls list all d documents u gathered. I want you to list all your documents you submitted including how you explained to them that the 700k would be enough for your trip or conference. What are your travelling history or was it a virgin passport. I want the house to benefit from how you got yourself your Canadian visa. God bless you as you do so. @Bostin I think what you need to show it's a genuine reason of why you actually wanted to visit Canada. I would suggest you try and get someone to send you an invitation if that could help you. It seems they thought you don't have a genuine reason enough.

@Bostin, Do u work? Did you show any bank statement, any Income and home tie, Or all you showed was your Hotel reservation and where you was going, You need to answer this Questions so we can put you through.

@Bostin any travelling history on your passport, sorry for your refusal though, at least you know where to work on now. i am sure the house would contribute more on where you lapsed now. but u need an Invitation from someone or conference just like you said.. I think the hotel reservation more works for US Visa. Goodluck

Nairalanders I noticed on this travel section we don't have any forum for people that intend to travel to Canada just for visiting or tourism we only got Canada student visa forum and when people try to ask for help on there people don't render any help. I'm not a Visa guru myself. I created this so people can drop there problem and some Nairalanders that knows better can answer them back. Thanks
