That u got something going on here and u wouldn't wanna abandon them to start living in the Italy. So demonstrate your home ties.

Your bank statement, insurance that covers your trip. Flight and hotel reservation. Letter of employment and leave date, if your working. Colour copies of your data page 2x, letter of introduction. It shouldn't be more than that.

@aspenjnr: there's no such thing of how much need to be on ya bank statement. Show or demonstrate you monthly income. If your income is good enough even 500k u r good. Don't go and lodge money and print out statement. They wanna see how money comes in every month. Your salary every month.

Instead of you wasting your time applying for visa, Why not Invite your Spouse to Lagos, Get married at Ikoyi registry, the rest would be history in due time, Your finance would have to visit lagos and earn your residence straight. About france, Do you have any Visa on your passport already? Or its a virgin passport? How much is on your bank statement?... This Issue of France has been like that, The way they delay Applications, And most of it still come out positive. But I don't know about now that your Conference starts today. I don't know what's really with them, They said on there VFS that, Applicant should allow 15 working days, It's 20 working days and nothing. Well you would get your passport back at least..

Hello Everybody, I want to know if anybody is able to secure there French Visa recently. Because I've been hearing different kind of rumors about France being mean on issuing visa. They are recently refusing every applications. Can anybody testify to this. Anybody recently been to French embassy and what are your say.

CindyCC I'm not sure your friend can sponsor your trip. All you need to do is provide the embassy some document to shows you work and your bank statement that's all. Cos you need to show the embassy u r doing something. U can just submit your bank statement and rely on your friend sponsoring you. Remember you need to demonstrate your home ties too. U need to show ur working and u need to resume back to your work in due time. This are the things to show ur coming back. If u have a job and there's prove to show u work. 600 is enough. If u don't have anything to show that u work that 600 can't demonstrate anything. Remember u are an adult they can't sponsor u. This people would think you're running away. So u need to demonstrate some home ties.

@CindyCC: The previous guy was trying to tell you that your Application might be denied due to the ongoing crisis in Paris. I am sure you must have seen on your TV that Paris just got hit by some Islamic extremist, blowing there self up and attacking French people. and there government has extended there Statement of Emergency till come Feb. So the guy was saying u would be denied cos your purpose of visit was only based on love. Meaning you only trying to visit your love ones. That is possible u don't get your visa since your reason is just to go and av fun. But to me I believe if you've submitted the right document you should get your visa. This shouldn't affect your trip. My little knowledge

@Endycash1. Don't listen to people. If at all your application got delayed or denied it's not because of the Attack. You've submitted your application ahead of the attack. Secondly France embassy don't return applications at least 15working days. Is not even up to a month and you already getting paranoid. As for them they don't care if your reason for the trip is closer They would be happy to refuse you when your conference has past away. Just wait a little while. Hopefully this new week you might hear from them. Keep tracking . Best of luck

I'm more concerned on your Bank statement with balance of just 200k and being a first time traveller it doesn't look good to me as an Individual. But God works in mysterious way. But your balance is not laughing at all

From Ikorodu jump on ketu mile 12. When u get to ketu bus stop. Ask bike man u r going Tollgate. When u get to Tollgate all the public transport at tollgate are either going mowe ibafo same bus wud drop u at berger. Make sure u don't cross d pedestrian bridge when u get to tollgate just stay at d side of where d bike man drop u and stay at the express u wud definitely see mowe ibafo that wud take u to berger. And make sure you don't take a private bus calling ibadan right from d express. Please don't be a victim of one chance or ritual people. Safe journey.

I'm laughing my ass out loud. I live in Brixton no single crime. Though there are weed sellers every corner but c'mon Brixton peckham are the safest in London. Where are you getting your facts. Anyways the OP said he or she is from Australia. Brixton is where you can go to the ATM @ 3am cos there would always be people roaming about till the next morning. Peckham is like a market just as Dalson market is close to Hackney and lot of Nigerian hustle there. OP go on move away from this area you can relocate to outside London like Essex or Grace.
