I graduated with 2.1 in computer science from one of the best Federal Universities in Nigeria, surprisingly, I never learnt any programing language throughout my five years of study,

Some of my lecturers don't even know the programing themselves, today am a professional programmer,

WHICH WAY FORWARD PLS LETS CONTINUE THE CONTRIBUTION,

These days people talk about scarcity of good jobs, I do wonder, because I think skilled graduates are much more scarce than good Jobs.
when ever we advertise for jobs , we get over 100 applications but after weeks of review and phone calls, you still find out that the applicant do not have the required skills needed, despite claiming so as written on his or her CV.

Imagine, applicant seeking for a job(web designer) without any form of sample jobs, either online or on local machine.

when asked the tools normally used he will mention one software that he used to edit a template.

My questions is this, why is it that despite all the resources available online and all IT training schools in Nigeria we still find unemployed computer science graduate roaming the streets in search for jobs ?.

Dreamweaver is very good for you, though I quite agree with dual core, but Notepad++ might be a little bit boring as someone new to web programming.

U can use Dreamweaver editor and preview via browsers direct, thus ignoring design view features.

Learning by writing hard codes is very important for beginners.

That is exactly what I teach my students.

XHTML,CSS, JAVASCRIPT, PHP, MYSQL, FIREWORKS etc.

The domain is active, the website runs already just want to move it to another host for email sending purpose.

Guy, ur offer is good but very expensive. Am also a reseller but just want to host this one account as my hosting providers are currently having issues with email sending to yahoomail.

Thanks to all, but it seems my host is not even concern to solve the problem, am thinking of moving the domain to another host.

I need a cheap webhost account with any Nigerian hosting company now.

The webmail created from the hosting should be able to submit to yahoo email account.
The webmail should not have a cpanel where users can change their account, just where to login ad access email straight.

Drop ur bank details and ur cost, it should be cheap.

A client just called me now to notify me that his webmail account is not sending mail to any yahoo email account but can receive from yahoo email account. I contacted my host, but it seems they can't handle the problem. any body with an idea that can work,
