Though, I am not so sure whether ASUU have called off their strike. But I can remember the words of ASUU president saying if only they can approve the retirement age to 70yrs even if not implemented they will call off the strike.

The bill bordering on the retirement age for senior lectures has just been passed today, confirming this from the senate president himself when listening to the news. He said he expect the lectures back in classrooms with the passage of the bill. So this is 95% assurance that the ASUU strike might be called off before 24th or even this week. Keep the faith high.

You should not have submitted it. I dont submit mine 'coz it wasnt asked for and so was it for many people. I can only suggest this;maybe if you google (oauife 2011/2012 post utme registrations),it might bring the page for you. Then you can reprint.

The NLC have called off its strike,agree with the FG on #97per litre. Maybe, not a total relaxation for us,but a step to our excitement. I have feelings that the ASUU strike would be called off this week.

The ASUU strike was suspended because of the general strike starting on monday. I think they want to join NLC and TUC. But ASUU president said they are willing to call the strike off total if only the FG can at least show signs of readiness to implement their demands. If God answer our prayers maybe they wont continue when the Labour union are through with theirs. I see us resuming this january by God's grace.

Good day fellas, when I heard the Minister of Labour and productivity,Emeka Nwogu saying that the agreement between ASUU and the federal government will be reached by january 2012 and that the president is ready to meet their demands, I feel like it's school time. So let keep praying that it wont be another story at the end of the day. Am home bored.

From a reliable source, I heard the merit list is out jamb site. Just check your admission status there. That's what most schools do.

@bodee, NASU is incharge of registrations while ASUU is for academics. From source I learnt NASU aint on strike,so hopefully we should begin our registrations soon. Schools like OOU,LASU, and UI are almost through with theirs,inspite of the ongoing ASUU strike. Let us keep praying.
