Bastian has changed his game and plays more like a deep lying holding midfielder now ala Pirlo. Herrera will get plenty of game time.

Bastian will rotate with Carrick and play as an 8 sometimes. United don't play with a 10.

And rooney is a horrible midfielder God forbid. We will manage rooney as a str this season.

also Carrick and schweinsteiger are in their 30's and will not play every game and we're involved in four competitions this season so there will be enough game time for everybody.

Carrick, Bastian, Blind, Herrera, Schneiderlin and Fellaini. That's six midfielders competing for three spots. Personally I think Blind will be more of a LB backup this season.
