What job? TCC is tax clearance certificate. It is a document confirming you are not indebted to government. If you did not work, your income on the certificate is N0.00 and tax paid is N0.00. So tell me why they are asking for N120k? Is it for the paper or what if nit bribe.

Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC) price varies from State to State. Is it compulsory to get it from Enugu State? Besides, ask if you can use Tax receipt instead. That will be very much cheaper.

So one must pay for it even when you have no job? Thanks I will ask around.

Please I need advice on how to obtain tax clearance without being fleeced.

I don't have a job and I need tax clearance form. I went to tax office in Enugu and I was told to pay 120k.

Please house how can someone that has never worked and has no job going to pay 120k to prove that he is not owning government.

Does anyone have an idea if this is the official position of government on this matter?

If this is not the case can someone help me with contact for the right office to Lodge my complaint?

Who ever you are getting as a tutor should be able to teach that girl maths, because that is her problem in school, if she is trying in maths she will have that confidence, boldness and courage to tackle other subjects with little or no assistance,
Because from you post what you are saying is like you need someone that can give are company you need.

Thanks for your response. Her Math is bad but at this point I would want her to get all round help. If not possible we could just focus on Math and English and see how far she goes.

She is in JS1 and performed badly last term. The mum is saddled with raising five kids and they hardly get help from her. Their dad is always away due to the nature of his job.
