Hello. I plan to run a business in the future and I was drawing logos for it. Could you please help me pick which one is best? The picture is in the attachments.

I know they look a little rough. I thought it was best to see which one will be better for me to start working on further.

haha. I must commend your effort to make these sketches. you're clearly inclined towards a bold wordmark Logo. What's the nature of the business you plan on run?

Should you allow your Logo Designer dictate your design direction?

In our everyday life we come across various people totally different in personalities. Some people naturally want to take control of situations, projects etc, which is very okay. But when it comes to your logo design it's best you work closely with your Designer rather than try to dictate ideas...there should be a concensus.

Taking Le Choix Brand design for example. I teased the client after receiving the brief and asked if he had a design direction in mind. He did, but couldn't make it out when he read his brief again. He subconsciously expanded his brief description that his initial idea couldn't work again.

That's why he has me...lol.

Do you still think you'll want your idea to overcome that of your Designer or you'll be very open to his/her/ideas?

you can learn online actually. take courses online, even linkedin offers design courses. Register for LinkedIn premium and learn stuffs you can in your one month of free trial period.

If you must take personal online tutors, check their portfolios to be sure they intrigue you before you commit. as the saying goes, you can't give what you don't have.

and lastly, good things or education in this case may cost money. Don't expect the good tutors to take you for 3000 or 7000. unless you're comfortable learning to be a mediocre designer.
