Lol...i've always understood the dichotomy between corel and adobe products...a large chunk of people like this (most especially people in early print production era ridiculed the software.) People make up designs like this and attach it to the software.

OP, what i tell my students is this: learn graphics design; the principles and theories, not just software application. When you know that, you'll pull off great designs with ordinary microsoft paint. Then you'll see adobe, corel or any product as ordinary tools
