Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa is even more equipped than many of the Universities listed here. I had my ND in Nasarawa and Degree in Minna and was really shocked that many University engineering undergrads cant even use a simple vernier caliper. Most of the things I did in the University after Direct Entry where things I had already learnt from the Polytechnic. Perhaps we should close down all those non technical departments like Mass Comm, Public Admin and let Polytechnics concentrate on engineering, I changed to degree because no matter how good you are the Polytechnics HND is underrated. The University did not really develop my creative ability further; I had to change my mentality after I graduated and got a job with an expatriate company and realised that I was applying more of what I learnt in ND than what I learnt in the University to the job. 21 Likes 3 Shares |

HOW JEGA Got His OBAMA Award Obama gave Jega US National Honours for getting GEJ out based on the recommendation of David Axelrod who was Obamas campaign director during his elections and current APC campaign Consultant after Jega had lied to the world about how he has cleaned up the Voter Register by removing underage voters. Gov Kwankwaso has just confirmed that Almajiris were massively used. Not Surprisingly all the EU and US International dubious observers concentrated on the OIL States of Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Delta which are there key areas of interest and would want to be controlled by APC where they are calling for cancellation due to rigging and did not see manipulation in the North. Fake Census Underage voters high Illiteracy rate religious bigotry Obama quickly rushed a dubious award to Jega for helping in kicking out GEJ and the so called International Observers from EU and US only saw rigging in the OIL States of Rivers, Delta and Akwa Ibom non in the north. GEJ built schools for Almajiri to liberate their minds which did not go down well with northern elite who use them as political tools. PETROBRAS of Brazil that we started together in the oil business runs their industry and not collecting 'Royalty' from some western companies. Sign the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) and let Nigeria fully control its resources but western interference has never allowed NORTHERN SENATORs see anything good in the bill as the oil companies and foreign embassies protecting their own interests make the Northerners to think that they will lose out if the PIB is passed. Nigeria needs to stop collecting Royalties from Shell and other but think about doing it ourselves as we are not Niger Republic that produces Uranium but receives 5% royalty from French Company AREVA and remains a poor country in the midst of plenty. 14 Likes 1 Share |

America, the European Union and APC are angry over their inability to control the OIL states of Rivers, Delta and Akwa Ibom States. It would have been disastrous if they had lost Lagos the nations key commercial nerve center. All the local and foreign observers were concentrated in Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Delta with minor focus on Northern States and hence the call for the cancellation of results there. It is a surprise to them that despite their presence in these States they still returned huge numbers for the ruling party PDP. Perhaps Obama may be considering retrieving his US National award to Jega for uncompleted assignment. |

Nothing is Graphic about Boko Haram. Remove pictures of victims and show us dead Boko haram members that soldier said I slaughter Boko Haram with this when I get them and that was classic. This report is better than the propaganda of Aljazeera in favour of BH which led to the detention of 2 of their staff one o whom is seen here lying about his location. It takes a lot to achieve stability in Young marriages. Let them fight it without third party intervention and they will get over it. Marriage is not all rosy despite their celebrity status. Linda Ikeji and other greedy bloggers should stay off and not add more fire to the flame. |

Toks2008:Sorry, the Oba has said nothing, it was somebody who claimed he was speaking for the Palace that came out to first deny that the Oba said anything like that until the videos were posted online. I agree the matter should not be over flogged but get your facts right. The South East actually won this election for Buhari because they stopped PDP from posting the 'usual' results. Abia posted only 300k from 1.7m in 2011 which would have cancelled out Katsinas 1.1m and Ebonyi 200k from 1.2m which would reduced Kano's 1.9m. 6 Likes |
