I have come across people who intend to create a blog or are into blogging already and who also love blogging, but most of them tend to get discouraged, just because the feel without a laptop or a desktop computer you cannot blog swiftly. Truth be told, you can create a blog with your smartphone, but when designing your blog you need access to a PC.

Aside that, posting and publishing is one of the most important aspect of blogging. Because that is what engage your blog readers, and make them always come back for more.

Today I'll be sharing android apps that can assist you in publishing blog posts without necessarily having access to a PC. Even those who have PCs can also make use of it. Reason I love these apps is that I can publish a post with my smartphone anywhere as long as there is network coverage.

Having said all these, let's get back to the business of the day. I'll be sharing 3 blogging apps (although there are others) because I use them, and I can say that they serve me well.

1. BLOGGEROID
• It has easy navigation and it also aids you by showcasing some text-formatting.
• You can also add images to any part of the post you want it to display

• WordPress is undoubtedly the most popular blogging platform on the Internet.

• Allows you to perform many essential tasks such as creating, editing and publishing blog posts, moderating comments,
• checking on analytics data as well as publishing photos or videos taken with the camera on your mobile phone.

Blogging has become a major source of living for most people in our society today. Most people who are blogging find it a bit difficult to customize their blog and to add widgets. People often ask the question; why is my widget not showing in mobile view? I decided to write this simple tutorial to answer their question.
How to make widgets visible in mobile view


1. Go to templates on your blog menu and click on it. On the mobile view click on edit and select template, select custom view (This displays your web version). Click on apply to blog

2. Go to layout and click on the widget you wish to add, click on edit, it takes you to a new tab, on the address bar check for the format of the widget e.g HTML3 format, this is found at the right end of the title, close the window and go back to your template settings

3. Click on edit HTML, a new page opens, select jump to widget and click on the one you wish to make visible in this case we want HTML3 to be visible so we click on it. It takes you to the position of the widget

4. On the widget click on the space between locked and title and add mobile=’yes’ NOTE: there must be a space between the locked mobile=’yes’ and title. If you want the widget to be displayed only on mobile view add mobile=’only’. If you want to remove it from the mobile view add mobile=’no’.

5. After the settings click on save settings

Many people have been asking me how they can add widgets to their websites, so I took my time to write this article which is aimed at educating those who are into blogging, and also those who aspire to become one in future.
Widgets are essential component that enable viewers interact efficiently with your website or blog, and are also necessary for the effective running of the blog. Examples are Headers, pages, labels, contact, total page views, follow by Email, to mention a few.

HOW TO ADD A WIDGET TO YOUR WEBSITE OR BLOG
1. On your blog menu select layouts and click on it. It takes you to a page as shown in the image below, Select where you want the widget to be e.g Header, side bars, footer, main page etc.

2. Click on add on the area you wish to add the widget and it opens a new tab showing a comprehensive list of widgets, select the one you wish to add and click on it


3. After that Edit the widget to your taste and click on save


4. Go back to the tab on your browser showing the layout settings, at the top right side of the page you will see save arrangement Click on it.

You can add any amount of widget you wish on your blog as long as you remember to save.
