Hello, please how did your lawyer go about it? My case is similar to yours thou they tried to contact my sponsor
The immigration lawyers have their own channel of communication with the UK home office so they use that to correspond with them. If you have a case then you'd most likely get a positive response.

PS: The immigration lawyer is usually a UK based lawyer. You can find them here: https://home.oisc.gov.uk/adviser_finder/finder.aspx

VISA VISA VISA!!!

I don't know where to start but these last 42 days have been something else for me but I thank God the end of it is sweet.

Submission - 10th December
(28 day count started on 7th December. This was the primary cause of my sleepless nights when people told me I should have waited for the 28 days to be complete before submitting, that it's automatic refusal. Some even asked me to cancel the application and start again. This was difficult for a family of 5 so we prayed about it and moved on - God answers prayers o)

Biometrics- 7th January (standard)
Now the long wait began.

Non straightforward mail - 25th January (12th working day)
Like play like play, it reached 29 working days. No mail, nothing. Hmm!

Decision confirmation mail - 15th February
After several mails and back and forth with UKVI

Collection mail - 17th February

Collection - 18th February
All 5 of us got our visas

I appreciate everyone here especially @lagosismyhome @mimilyrics @sandradee @wakandaprincess

Thank you all.

For those waiting like I did, you will all get yours too. Its a matter of time.

Pls I would really appreciate it if help/clarifications can be given from this house pls.

I am preparing to submit my study visa application. I got admission for September 2020, last year, and I opted for studying online as a temporary remote learner to resume 2nd semester this year. My university just issued me a CAS this week and I'm planning on applying next week. I am self-sponsored.

Is there a need to state where I got the funds from like using a "gift of deed letter" from my parents or something?
Is there any need to submit a work reference letter (or any work-related doc) for the visa application?
In my 28-day bank statement, there was a deposit of 300,000 naira from my mum, Is there any need to explain this pls?
Is there a need to attach a cover letter explaining how much I have paid and how much I have for the application, or that I wanna have started online remotely as given by the school?

Sorry for the many questions, Your response is highly appreciated.

Thank you!!!

Hello everyone!

Pls I need help!

I was admitted for September entry but opted for online remote study to resume in the second semester (usually in January).

Upon request (for CAS processing) around November, I submitted a bank statement generated from my mobile app to the visa support department of the university as they requested for it to be sure I had enough funds to apply. They declined the bank statement because it wasn't verified, so I resubmitted a verified statement afterwards around November end and since then, they have only said that they are still looking into it.

The problem is that they have not responded for the CAS since then. I have even sent them an email after doing my medicals, but nothing still.

Right now, I'm out of options, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hello nairalanders,

Pls advise.

My university offered me MSc admission this Fall 2020 with a remote online study option and entry to UK in January.

I took the remote online study option.

My question is, will it affect my visa application in November in any way?

The main reason I chose this option was to gather enough funds towards January. I'm also thinking the Living expenses may be reduced since it's a January entry.

Is there any downside to taking this option pls?

Hello Sir,

Thank you for your email. Please note that due to the unusual SOP's and complaints from prospective applicants. I may not be chanced to review your letter at this time.

I would suggest you send this letter to any of the trusted and reliable people on this thread.

I sincerely apologize for any inconveniences this might cause you.

In the mean time, if you have any questions or concerns. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time.

High Regards,
Frank

Thanks a lot boss, I understand.

My major concern is that I stated that I volunteered at a clinic and that I also had affiliations with health clubs when I was in secondary school but have no documents to show as evidence for these. So, I wanted to ask if me not having to provide any docs for the volunteer/affiliations is a problem?

Frankrobbn1:
I think the documents you have listed out are perfectly adequate to land you an approval if luck finds your application. Again, Over my 4 years of existence and valuable experiences on this thread, i have come to learn that its very difficult to get VISA with this Pre-Nursing program at Brandon University. Majority of persons I know like 7-10 of them were refused on the basis of their purpose of visit. I would rather prefer you go for a direct Bachelor's degree which doesn't require any prerequisite courses to be completed prior to your enrollment into the main program.

Please for your good and if you don't want the contents of your letter to be plagiarized by others on this thread. Kindly remove the link you've attached with this post. If you require any assistance in terms of SOP vetting you can contact any of the knowledgeable and trustworthy individuals on this thread.

Thank you very much for the response, by God's grace it will end in praise.

Pls I sent a message request to you boss. Thanks
