Looking at what the politicians are campaigning with, and what their supporters are praising them for, one cannot do but say that: indeed, the victims of the thieves on our bus this year are supplus!

The politicians rob us our education to send their children overseas to get standard education

They rob us our peace but travel oversea to enjoy peace in another man's land.

They give us death-traps as roads but fly in their expensive planes.

They deny us electricity but buy themselves fuel to power their generators.

They do all of this on the detriment of our collective comfort and rights, they equally weaponise poverty to bait us with the crumbs falling from their dining tables during election time.

Our only means of having the feelings of what it feels like graduating from a standard institutions is when we see their children being celebrated on the social medias; we aren't even invited- who invites the downtroddens to feast?!

While they do this, they save some of the stolen money from the national treasury and then share it among us to buy our consciences under the guise of helping the electorates and then some of the oppressed citizens praise them, thank them and celebrate them.

This is the reason why the politicians who are stealing our money from our national treasury are increasing.

No matert how big a politician gives in this Nigeria of today, he deserves no appreciation, what he deserves is to explain when he is going to return the rest of the money and then ask for forgiveness from the people they have stolen their all to buy themselves all of the comforts in another man's lands.

The thieves in our bus are increasing all the time because we continue praising them for returning small from the many they steal from us.

Anyway, I am about to start my catfish farming again in my compound. I relish those period btw 2014 and 2018 when even my dogs fed on catfish.

Cost of feeds and other issues arising in this country are killing everyone's biz.

My story is horrible, yes horrible. The only little knowledge I acquired was YouTube knowledge. I visits BUK and DAnfodio University fishery departments. I went ahead to stock 20,000 juveniles, and start feeding with 2mm aller aqua feeds. First two weeks I lost more than half of the 20k. I didn't relax I bought another 20k and restock. The second stock I lost around 6000 fish. At that time my fist stock were at post juvenile I started feeding with 3mm, yes aller aqua.
I wake up one day and get a mortalities what remain from the second stock was only 7,800. You knew what, I go ahead and buy 45k fingerlings and 15k juveniles and restock. Still cruising.
I learn a bitter way. Pond preparations is very vital, constant water change is superb. I'm here to learn more. I've about 80k in my stock now.

Unit cost per Bird = N400 (Male line)
i.e 50 x 400 = N20,000

Transportation delivery = N1,000

FEEDING FOR 4 WEEKS Cumulative

1 broiler bird will eat approximately 1600g cumulatively for 4weeks

i.e 50 broilers = 50 x 1600g
= 80,000 grams

Note: 1kg = 1000g

(80,000g)kg = 80,000/1000 = 80kg

So, 50 broilers will eat 80kg of broiler starter.

Note: 25kg = 1bag of feed
Therefore 80kg = 80/25 = 3.2bags

That is 50 broilers will consume 3.2 bags in 4 weeks

COSTS
1 bag of feed of New Hope broiler starter is N8,000 (safe side)

Therefore 3.6 bags
3.2 x 8,000 = N25,600

Profit: Total sales - Cost of Production

74,250 - 56,800 = N17,450

Profit = N17,450 in 4 weeks

I can there's no shade or trees nearby your pond.
You can either put zinc roof or plants some trees around

Honestly you get the mind and money.

You can simply start as low as 2000 - 5000 fingerlings.
There's 0.8mm coppens and some lesser feeds depending on the manufacturer to start with.
After which you can change the feed to Aller qua 2mm after 1or 2 weeks.

Just employ someone to monitor and teaches you how to manage a fish farm.

When fish are not dropping, you needed to stopped feeding them
