wow! $700 monthly for GA, that's high ooo....i really don't much about GA and all that but i hope to get one if it's that high. I also plan to study petroleum engineering at fall 2015. Pls can you share the GRE scores that got you admission into university of louisiana at lafayette.....and why did you apply to only one school in the US?

i applied to the ULL cos its the cheapest among my list (texas and usc are daym right expensive ) and also they have fair GRE cutoff.

i got v152 q155 AWA 3.5

i was actually given admission for spring 2015 but due to school demanding that the statement of account must be translated to dollar equivalent ,i was not issued form i 20 ..they advised me to defer till fall 2015 to have enough time for visa process.

i was actually given admission to university of Louisiana at Lafayette. now i just have to still hussle around to gather personal funds while my sponsor prepares well cos US aint no.joke .

the tuition no bad as from my research is quite cheap and still has level as per the course..7th or 8th n the US. tuition is per semester but there is opportunity to be given a waiver if you can perform well in your first semester and be a GA will be paid $700 monthly too.

but doulay....you gats pay first semeser tuition and GA is not guaranteed oooh..cos everybody eyes dey der.

i want to use this means to say a very big thanks to DanjaNinja & crew, i actually used the Grubbers guide to self study for the GRE and i got a good score in record time.The initial time i wanted to say a shout out thank you, i was banned for reasons best known to the moderator.

The one and only school i applied for in the US just gave me admission of my course of study : Petroleum Engineering Masters concentration even though i didn't have a degree in chemical Engineering/ Geo sciences or mechanical. i actually had a first degree in Electrical Engineering.

If not for anything the courage and can do spirit that being a popular viewer of this forum has developed in me.

I did everything by myself : from application to submission of transcript and i always used nairaland as my reference.

i say a big thanks to again to Danjaninja & crew, You will always be remembered by me.

people will just open their mouths and start talking errors. the cause of the inferno was simple . a tanker was discharging products into one of the underground tank while pumps were still dispensing to customers . a little friction resulted to a spark which ignited the pms coupled with the humidity, high temperature and electrostatic buildup .this all contributed to the fire outburst . i work in the total house building which shares a fence with conoil filling station . i saw d fire from the muster point of total house . as of now the fire has been put out . causaulties not yet ascertained .

all talk about Total is true. but also know that the company in question made up of downstream and upstream. i am currently there and as an entry level graduate for downstream your annual income is about 3.5 million. so just specify when u talking about the high income. Total E $ P is upstream while Total Nig Plc is downstream.

yes the james.i am also a fresh graduate and intending to venture into the oil industry.i studied elect/comp eng. I dont kwn if there is a certification concerning computing in relation to the oil industry ?
