That said, if you walk into any Federal Teaching Hospital today, you'd find that Pharmacy is probably the most useless department amongst the clinical. They are basically dispensers and the task they carry out can easily be performed by anyone who has same access to the doctors prescriptions and knows his way around the shelves of medications. Even the porters assisting the pharmacists, sometimes step in to assist.

In some, Pharmacists aren't even allowed to swap a brand of prescription let alone prescribe by themselves.

In the scheme of things, the hierarchy is Doctors, Nurses, Lab Scientists, before pharmacists and co

What are you saying? You refer to pharmacists as dispensers? Maybe in Nigeria you don’t value your pharmacists but in the US it’s a very respectable profession. Yes they administer injections & even correct doctors mistakes in matters prescription.
A doctor may forget that prescribing a med to a patient who’s already taking a different medication may cause drug interaction. As in either less effective or serious side effects. A pharmacist will point out such errors. Do you know what it means to spend years memorizing meds & what they treat & other deep stuff about the human body? It’s a joke for you to say that pharmacists are below nurses yet they are referred to as doctor of pharmacy.

Very possible. She most probably gave him up for adoption as a baby and did not stay in touch. They met somewhere & she probably prefers young men. That’s most likely how the whole scenario unfolded.

My friend told me that, the school he is teaching, are looking for a physics teacher and he wants me to help him ask around, because since when the physics teacher in that school resigns, it has been months and still they have not found his replacement.

I asked him how much the school pays so that when I ask around I will tell the person everything, and my friend told me that the school will pay 85k per month.

I graduated from uni since 2019 and I have never done any kind of job, and this my friend is asking me to help him look for someone for his school to employ, I was suprised but I didnt say anything to him, after 3days I told him that I have gotten someone for the job and he told me to tell the guy to come to the school with his CV for interview. I didnt tell my friend that I will be the guy.
Today in the morning, I prepared and went to the school with my CV, on getting there I called my friend and he came and ask me where is the person, I told him its me, He said to me, why will you come for the interview while you know you cant teach physics, I told him in this era of AI, I can teach any subject.

All I want from him is to cover for me and never tell the principal that I did not study physics in school, he said no he cant do that for me.

I am very angry and want to cut ties with that friend of mine forever.

Let me tell you this, you are a dangerous person!! Doesn’t the school require certificates of your academic achievements? Or do you intend to forge one? You want someone to lose his job because of your insistence on getting the job & yet you are incompetent in the area of physics? It’s obvious that you have no good intentions for your friend and the worst is that you are trying to be manipulative and pull the victim card.

I am so confused right now. Is it that she’s never dated before to know the games that men play when they are not into a lady? Seven years? As in someone got a bachelor’s and master’s degrees while she was still with that guy. It’s like she was his course of study. While I think she was naive and acted desperate, I think it’s not nice for women to mock other women in their low moments. How can you refer to another lady as old cargo? Seriously?? Life is funny you know. Nobody knows tomorrow. Nobody plans that some things won’t work in their favor. I’ve learned not to say some things. One may find themself in that same situation or their children in future. Let’s choose our words wisely.

Please (even though I know my appeal with fall on deaf ears too numerous to count in this forum), approach this issue with logic and without prejudice to the people involved.

My wife and I are duly blessed with a son who is in his basic 5 now. Also, we decided to get the daughter of one of my cousin to stay with us. She is one of 7 children. So I wanted to help raise a CHIMAMANDA.

As my rule, every child of same age under my room attends the same school and calls us Dad & Mum. The school part didn't quite seat well with my wife, who had a different opinion, but I prevailed anyway. Because na me dey pay school fees.

The girl is a year older than my son, but due to the level of education at the village before she came over, we made her be in the same class as my son. She met my son in primary 2. Now they are both in basic 5.

A shocker happened: This girl keeps coming up in the class, while my son keeps running away from the top. We've tried extra lessons, even tried changing schools. Now it looks as if the girl is better suited for school than my boy. She reads, spells and memorizes things too marvellous. I bought a dictionary cos of that.

I even buy gifts for her (for coming top) more than I do for my boy, to make him sit up, but my pikin nor send me o. Guy use cry & Woman power make me buy am bicycle. 😁

I would think he's being a spoilt boy, who believes daddy & mommy is there, I don't really know. But I am hopeful.

Now, my major issue is my heavily pregnant wife. She wants the girl to be changed/enrolled at a different school. In her defence, she wants her to be available to help her take care of things. The kid's school close by 3pm. She suggest government school that close earlier. I see sense in what she said but I feel like I'll be unfair to this young girl.

When I tried to have a healthy debate on the idea. Na so madam start to dey talk plenty tins wey I nor fit type.
I have accepted to do her wish from September for peace.

Please, do you see another way I could avoid problems?

It seems you are a kind hearted man who wants to support the young girl’s education, but truth of the matter is that your wife will go to any length to see that comes to a stop. She did want the girl attending the same level of school with your son, she feels the girl belongs to a lower social status.
Chances are high that she’s envious of the girl’s performance in comparison with your son. One of the most important things is peace of mind. Please allow that child have peace because I have a feeling that if she continues to live with you, she’ll face hell courtesy of your wife.
Why don’t you enroll her in a boarding school and let her stay with her parents during the school holidays? Your wife is looking to turn her into her slave. I don’t know what is wrong with some women, they do not wish other people’s children well.
You being the man of the house and the one paying bills, should make wise decisions. If you start meeting your wife’s crazy demands, it will be difficult to stop in the future. You’ll become her puppet & she’ll be pulling your strings as she pleases.

Take the matter to court. He either pays up or gets his house auctioned. People are really evil. Living life at the expense of others.

LOL. They have a tribe in Kenya known for serious witchcraft. Matter of fact, I’ve seen a lady witch doctor from that tribe, travel into the neighboring Uganda to offer her services. Their expertise is especially causing cheating spouses to get stuck when drinking stolen waters . In the background of the video, police could be heard taking about the Kamba witchcraft, wondering who’d done this to the boy. I however cannot authenticate the truth of this incident if it indeed happened as they claimed or was just showcasing a talent .

I have a question though. I noticed that in Islam, even when the deceased is a woman, women aren’t allowed by the gravesite, apparently because they weep. I noticed some men weeping during Buhari’s funeral. Why is it okay for men to cry and not women. Any reason?

I thought the reason that religion doesn’t allow women by the grave side, is apparently because women weep. So it’s okay for men to cry at the grave but not women? Why do they always treat women like 2nd class citizens?

Your comment is appalling. There are people who like appear as badass with a carefree attitude. However as one grows older & hopefully wiser, they realize that such comments are disrespectful to women including their mother, sister or any woman they hold in high regard. Would you say this to the lady if you met her face to face? LOL , no it’s actually the normal accepted procedure by airlines board. Where do you imagine the dead are kept mid flight incase of unexpected death? They are usually bagged up & tied to their original seat till landing. What Qatar crew did is standard procedure.

It’s standard procedure in flight. During a death in flight without an extra seat, the corpse should be put in a bag, eyes shut & then tied on to the seat the person originally booked. It’s super uncomfortable, but when flights are full without an empty row, that’s what happens.

It’s normal for dead bodies to be put on their original seat especially if the flight is full. An extra room for body storage due to death onboard, is something aircraft engineers need to consider in the future models.
