Please don’t follow the advice of those telling you to buy antibiotics. Which bacteria would you be treating because different antibiotics treat different kinds of bacteria? That’s why WHO has reported an increase in antibiotic resistance bacteria. People been abusing antibiotics. Besides, antibiotics cause women to suffer from yeast infection.
Best thing to do would be to visit a doctor. They’ll take a swab and take it to the lab for a diagnosis, then she can get the right diagnosis & treatment. Whatever prescription she gets, make sure you also buy yours because if you don’t get treated, you’ll re-infect her. Mexicans are so welcoming. You can establish a really good relationship with a Mexican, in just an hour's meeting. They are the most polite and courteous people I've met, in my adventures so far. Oh... one more thing, their ladies are the best.

Wife, child, good home, good paying job, assets, they all came when I dumped religion. When I was prayerful, I was as poor as church rat. I took the bold step to stop praying when I read the Doctufos.

I am in this category. As for prayer, those who know me used to call me asking that I pray for them. I got tired of prayer without results.I prayed day & night, quoted scriptures , gave to the church & needy. I didn’t understand how a good father will leave me to suffer year after year & punish me to strengthen my faith🙄. I couldn’t explain why a good god allows innocent kids to suffer from cancer or why we read of miracles but, never experience them. I posted the above topic before when I married the ugly village girl my mom insisted I must marry.

We've been together for 2 years now, no child. The problem is that she's always giving me one infection or the other. I've treated infection for more than 3 times and this is someone I married a virgin.

1.Why is your mother living with you? Does she have a home where she could live & be visiting you from time to time? Does she have a medical condition that requires her to live with you?
2. When your mom started being manipulative by threatening to stop taking her meds, why didn’t you report her to the elders in your family & church leadership?
3. Your mom was selfish when she forced a woman on you, yet you are the one to live with the lady in marriage . Did she also pick a wife for your older brother?
A lifetime is too long to be unhappy . It sounds as if you are afraid of standing up to your mom.I’d suggest you first get your mother a place where she can live & if in a position, hire a caregiver for her. Distance does allow some room for respect.
Go ahead & file for divorce. The sky will not fall. You’ll not be the 1st or last divorcee. After all, you did warn the girl that you didn’t have feelings for her.

I posted a previous topic about my divorce with my wife and i got alot of advice on this platform which really encouraged & have me strength.

I'm really grateful for the nairaland community. The only issue i'm still battling with right now is how to move on, i'm trying everyday to forget the past, but the more i try, the more it's becoming fresh in my heart and the pains too. I won't lie to you it's difficult. Sincerely sometimes i cry and the thoughts of ending my life comes and goes. I don't drink, I don't smoke, neither do i womannize and worst of all i don't have much friends cos I'm more of an introvert.

A snippet of the entire problem is that most times we have an issue and she leaves the house, i've always been the one going to speak to her mum, plead and bring them back home, that's why whenever there's problem and she goes back to her mom's place, nobody from her family would contact me to even hear my side because I've become like a fool to them cos they know i'll still come. This last one that she left, we just had a little issue and she packed a her things and left. So many people not to go to her family house and beg this time around since i didn't send them packing. Please guys help a brother with more advice, how do i move on?

1. Seek a therapist to help you cope with your emotions
2. Find hobbies to fill up your free time. Eg Lego to the gym, take a class you could learn something like entrepreneurship, learn a skill Eg swimming, hair cutting, photography, playing a music instrument, dance lessons etc.
3. Join a support group. They have such groups on Facebook or other sites like zoom where people meet regularly to discuss their common issues.
4. Create a new budget as your spending habits have changed. Think whether to downsize to a smaller living space or keep things the same, how to co-parent if kids are involved. Etc.

Ever since the price of cooking gas and even kerosene and charcoal skyrocketed many Nigerians have dumped beans cooking but instead opted for buying cooked beans from vendors because of the high consumption of the fuel used in preparation of it.

Let me share with you how it works so that you too can also give it a try...

Picture1 shows how it starts:- You rinse your beans and pour it in your pot with water and add adequate salt and lit it on your gas.

Picture2 shows that the beans is boiling on the gas and then after you turn off your gas and leave the beans in the boiling water for some minutes.

picture3 after leaving the beans for some minutes and the boiling water is becoming warm then you on your gas again and allow it to bring again for about 5min and then you off your gas again.

Picture4 is that last stage as you can see the beans is already done and ready to consume but if you wish to cook it as porridge you can add all the necessary ingredients and cook till completely done
There's no disadvantage in preparing your beans this way but you will have to be close to keep watch and save your gas so that it will give you the most preferable result

What has always worked for me is slaking the beans overnight or early morning
or whatever time works for you. When you do the soaking, give the beans about 6 hours to soak. In the morning, pour that water and put fresh water, then boil the beans. You do not need to add anything.

Flesh & blood has not revealed this to you. Few hours ago I was venting about this same issue. I’ve been feeling super upset since 2-3 days ago, when I learned that there is something called “Crown Lands” in Kenya. The nerve these Europeans have is something that should be considered for a study.
Apparently, there are some parts of Kenya today that are considered to be under the jurisdiction of England. The Kenyan government cannot tax these land owners because they don’t even have title deeds & they own 10,000 hectares or more. The land is passed down from one generation to another.
Britain has an army base & those soldiers have been raping women in the area. When the Kenyan government tried to intervene, Boris Johnson who was then Foreign affairs minister flew into Kenya fast. When the British commit crimes in Africa, they are extradited to their country to be tried there. When Africans commit crimes in England & fly home, their governments send them back to England for trial.
By the way what is this devilish thing they call, The Commonwealth countries? It’s an extension of colonialism. Africa received fake independence. Attempts to break those agreements will end up in sanctions. You should ask her if your dad was required to build & buy cars before marrying her? You must understand that your parents have their lives to live & you also have your own life to live. Matter of fact, in an ideal situation, parents are supposed to help their children start out in life but not look up to the for finances. I am wondering whether you live & work close to their house? If you do, I’d suggest relocating your business to a new location. Tell your parents that you are informing them you’ll be getting married, you are not asking for suggestions. If they prove stubborn, involve the elders.

1. Our way of breaking free from addiction is by replacing the addictive habit, with a new habit. If you have a lot of free time after work, why don’t you join the gym, take a class or take up a task that will make you tired , that you’ll just long to get home & sleep?
2. Why don’t you stop using a smart phone for now & use an old model with no internet capability?
3. Does your job pay cash or check? Why don’t you use a trusted person like your mom or dad? Open a joint account with them. You know they can’t withdraw in your absence as the bank would require both signatories to be present for withdrawal. Go to your place of work & change your deposit information so that half of your pay goes into your account & the other half into your joint account which will act as your savings account?
4. Get an addiction counselor to help you navigate through your current struggles. It won’t be easy. You’ll fall at times, but you’ll get up & walk the journey again.
5. The doctors can give a low dose of antidepressants to reduce your libido. It’s not a permanent thing & you can always get it back when you need it.
Fight these evil habits now that you are 30. If you don’t break them, they can make you to forever live in poverty, guilt, shame & depression. Goodluck!

Really? You sound like a narcissist. They usually are control freaks. So what they do to make a woman powerless, is to strip her off her source of income. Money empowers people & stops a lot of nonsense. Without money, the woman has no choice but to stay in the marriage no matter how bad it gets. A family friend of my Auntie, was a Lecturer at the university. Her husband an ENT specialist & also a consultant. She took an early retirement to go start farming & they were doing so well. Till he started an affair with his secretary & stopped providing. Anytime the 1st wife served him divorce papers, he’d pay off some people & tell her she was going nowhere. It’s a very sad situation. Not all marriages end up badly when a partner takes to farming, however I’d recommend someone keeps their regular job.
