Nigeria's hair industry is set for the first ever Hairdressers' Conference & Exhibition. It is to hold at Time Square Event Center, Ikeja, Lagos.  on Thursday, October 25, 2012.

Over  3,000 guests are expected to attend the Lagos edition of the  Hairdressers' Conference  & Exhibition.  Activities will include - presentation of business-turn-around ideas by competent, successful, up-to-date professional hairdressers and consultants from different parts of the world.   Issues such as branding, franchising,  Salon/staff management, customer service, Hygiene,  hair styling techniques, and trends, will also be explored. Exhibition aspect of the event  will afford Manufacturers, Corporate bodies, Salon owners, and distributors the platform for launching new products, and showcasing existing products/services.

According to Hair Media, the organizer,  this event is designed to propel the hair industry forward, in line with international standards;  provide an interactive forum for networking; re-define hairdressing as a delightful occupation; bring hairdressers closer to the manufacturers and distributors as well as educating hairdressers on current hair styles and hair care products; a medium for  bulk purchases, and understanding the essence of Financing opportunities as well as ways of accessing them.

The event will also feature talented artistes/ comedians and dance groups. Refreshments and raffle draws are also on the menu.
