Nobody is supposed to know your body better than you do. Not even your personal doctor. You live in that body each and every day. Many a times, we start having noticeable changes in our bodies long before they lead to something terrible. But we fail to notice them. We have lost most of our natural instincts as a result of our detachment from mother nature. In fact, the lower animals are better than we humans when it comes to the relationship we share with nature. Haven't you heard of situations where pets (dogs and cats especially) are the ones who led their owners to the discovery of something bad happening to their health. But this is happening in your own body. How could one little animal be the one to tell you what is going on in your own body? I have only one answer to that; lack of attention. Now, I'm going to list a number of parameters you need to pay regular attention to if you want to be in charge of your own health. They are: Sleep pattern Hair health Your urine Heart beats Blood pressure Cholesterol Body mass index (BMI). Discussing all of the above parameters and how to manage them in a single thread will be cumbersome and practically impossible. So, I'll be expanding on each of them in subsequent threads. In the natural habitat of lower animals (the forest, seas and other natural water bodies), animals hardly develop sicknesses. And when they do, it is rare to see them die without recovering. When they are domesticated (taking away from their natural home), we begin to give them sophisticated health care. Yet they hardly survive serious infections. That is because they live by the rules of nature in their natural habitats and a balance is created. This balance is disrupted when they are taken away and that is the cause of the complications in domesticated ones despite the extra attention. This is the same for humans. Though, we never migrated from our natural environment, humans have been trying hard for centuries to outsmart nature and make sophisticated improvisions. These improvisions rather create more problems rather than solving the already existing ones. In response, we strive further to provide another artificial solution which in turn creates a further breach in the laws of nature. And the cycle continues. I'm not saying that technology is all bad. But in certain aspects of life, we need to disregard complex artificial improvisions and fall back to nature. Health is a leading aspect in this regard. Learn to live naturally and you will enjoy living. You will require little interventions from the conventional health care industry.
