Taking its first official step into the international scene, mobile technology Giant, TECNO Telecoms is set to launch its flagship devices the Phantom 6 and Phantom 6 Plus, this September. After 10 years of operations in Africa, the leading Chinese mobile phone manufacturer has decided to expand its business to include other emerging markets of the world. The launch is expected to take place on the 25th of September 2016 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, when TECNO will also be celebrating its tenth anniversary. www.nairaland.com/attachments/4279367_tecno1_jpegf65b865232ce0e37cf5a7df52c02409a According to PwC, “the rate of growth in emerging markets for the past decade and a half has been twice that of advanced countries and this trend is unlikely to abate anytime soon”. While several investors are still struggling to balance the risk/opportunity tradeoffs of investing in emerging markets, TECNO is already enjoying the benefits. Over the past decade, mobile phone penetration rate in Africa has risen from 6% to 80% and TECNO Mobile being a major driver of this development, is already servicing over 30 African countries while currently retaining the largest market share of 41.1% and 31.1% in Tanzania and Nigeria respectively. “We are proud of what we have been able to achieve in Africa so far and we are confident the time is right for use to duplicate same successes across other emerging markets. When we arrived Africa 10 years ago, very few people would have thought that we would grow so fast to control the largest market share of 25.3% across six major African markets – Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Cameroon and Ethiopia” said Tomo Liu, Deputy Director Marketing, at TECNO Mobile. www.nairaland.com/attachments/4279368_tecno2_pngef6e472e5551cce33a1ef6102ad45343 TECNO has succeeded in showing that they understand the dynamics of the African market by releasing very competitive devices at affordable prices. “Of course we are aware that emerging markets are not a monolith so, we have structured our expansion strategy to cater for each heterogeneous group across these markets. The Middle East is one region we are very excited about and unlike 10 years ago when we launched in Africa with the TECNO T780, we will be launching our new market with our latest flagship devices – Phantom 6 and Phantom 6 Plus. “The trends we identified across the region allowed us to see that there is room for TECNO Mobile’s offering in the Middle East where we are targeting young consumers to provide innovative phones and tailor-made services that meet their needs”, said Vane Ni, Deputy General Manager and Global marketing lead at TECNO Mobile. www.nairaland.com/attachments/4279369_tecno3_png062ba86a9a7a8e67de994e9928d09c99 TECNO Mobile customizes its devices based on different consumers’ preferences and the Phantom Series, which embodies the best of technological advances yearly is expected to impress smartphone consumers across different emerging markets. The Phantom 6 and Phantom 6 Plus is available for pre-order already with gift items for those who pre-order at approved sales outlets across the country. https://www.bellanaija.com/2016/09/tecno-mobile-expands-beyond-africa-with-the-release-of-phantom-6-and-phantom-6-plus/ |

barackodam:Ok, pls do. |
barackodam:I have searched for that note 3. Is it the same as hot 3? |
Afromalaika:Yeah. They usually charge for when they deliver a phone to you. |
Turks:I don't get. Why are you laughing. What is in my post that is funny to you? please be concise. |
sheddy03: L8 plus is quad core. Abi is my eyes now deceiving me ![]() |
barackodam:Well, as for me o. I have not yet seen any infinix phone that beats Camon C9. Tecno is usually one step ahead. |
Tania1:It doesn't matter na. In this period, change is change. But for carlcare, all we want is good and positive change. |
Wish I could defend slot on this one. But I know that they have fast delivery for devices bought. My friend ordered this tecno camon c9 and received it in less than three hours. Though they charged her 500 naira deliverance fees. |
barackodam:Yeah, dollars. If not, phones will not be that expensive even chinese OEMs are affected. Everything is now soo very expensive. |
thunder74:Trending fashion is one bane of this world. @bolded, better for me to buy it a cheaper rate compred to the absurdity these peeps are selling. I am nt really a phone freak. |
How come did your charging point get spoiled? Is it due to shaki shaki electricity? ![]() Carlcare shoud reduce prices o. This is change era. |
![]() ALAYORMII:This one is just funny. Sooo funny. looool |
xreal:This is why I don't ADVISE peeps to be silent about their wealth. But they must show off. ![]() |
IceDude:But you will agree that Whatsapp has come to stay. It's almost like people can't really do without it these days. The likes of Tecno and other chinese oems have made it possible for us to own phones that are affordable, so its only natural to find a way to communicate that is a lot faster. Whatsapp has filled that gap. |
Pheeknow:What makes it a joke. Is it not my choice? Or am I not allowed to have a choice again? |
sheddy03:no you got it wrong. I mentioned L8 plus, it is a quad core device. moreover, have you heard of the insane specs of Phantom 6? Tecno o o o o ![]() |
I can see some people promoting the L8 plus here. Good for the users and owners. But please we have to respect people's choices. L8 plus is a superior device, if you have the money....go for it. But if you don't, and you are finel with what itel offers, go for it too. |
This is really bad news for them. I guess this is why I prefer chinese oems like tecno and co. Even if there are manufacturer defects, the price I bought it will not let it pain me too much. |
THis government should do something fast to move Nigeria forward. Or did the make a pact with satan to keep nigeria in bondage ![]() |
I had same issue once on one my device and took it to carlcare. |
Fourwinds:Errrmmm, do you know if I'm somebody's wife already? ![]() |
Fourwinds:On what grounds, what is my offence? |
Well, he got what he was looking for. Can we rest now? |
They look good. The lady is pretty ![]() |
Cool device. But I prefer L8 plus or Tecno W4. I believe they are cheaper and will give me more equity. |
They look fit ![]() |
RZArecta:Lol Please allow him to express himself. |
Money is good. I will like to make more money. |
