Darling u've got it all wrong.Like I said in one of my previous posts women don't bleach their skins inorder 4 guys 2 be attracted 2 them.They bleach their skins because they are either pressured by other women 2 bleach their skins or they want 2 belong in a certain big girl/happening girl/i no be bush girl clique.Dsame thing also happens with weavon wearing.Women are d cause of dis bleaching craze & dark skin/light skin obsession not men.When women in d 1950s&60s in naija weren't bleaching so much weren't men approaching them?In d 70s,80s & even 90s,women gaining weight was seen in naija as a sign of good living.Men are easily deceived&will always go 4 what is usually presented 2 them by women as attractive&dont 4get they now have more choices in women than they had in d past

Am dark skinned and was born that way, I grew up with the mindset that when I have the chance I will bleach and become light skinned , why? because my mom bleached, my sister bleached and some of my friends are bleaching and they said its because to be light skinned will get you attention.
I noticed it anyway, I will be in a social event my fair skinned friend will get more attention while I may get one or none. my mom even suggested I tone a but so my face can be a little lighter. some years ago I bleached and got the attention but I stopped because it made me feel inadequate. but now I tell myself being what am not because other people will like me or not is only denying myself of my happiness, I believe no one will appreciate you until you do. and I can bet you if not 100% am 99% happy with my self.

so fellow ebony ladies how do you cope with your being dark skinned and how do you deal with people telling you to go lighter and finally how do you deal with the fair skinned getting more attention than you?

PS...... guys no lie o, you're guilty of clicking thousands of likes on light skinned NL gals compared to dark skin ones of 90 or less.

Start judging urself with more relevant features like ur intellectual capabilities & being a progressive person contributing good 2 d world rather than ur skintone or how large/small ur boob/butt is.Too many ladies fall into dat trap and stop blaming men 4 ur insecurities.We both know ladies are d ones who put more social pressure on other women to conform than any man ever will
