but you ARE land locked. The RIver Niger goes all the way through Kwara and Niger states which are landlocked just like you. The river changes nothing
This is wat we call witchcraft, every thread from the east they will invade. Go and join the Igbo village meeting in your area so u can contribute your voice.

This generation of yorubas should be buying weapons becos, they fail to understand we want wat we want for our development and will not give it up.

We much rather give up Nigeria, so we can pursue our dreams. Keep laughing at urself.
Politics › Re: Ikpeazu starts Work On Obuaku-River Port by hammerT: 3:27pm On Feb 28, 2016
I am tired of river port project and waste of money, let us once and for all plan a deep seaport in the ocean off Abia through land reclamation.

We need deep sea port owned by South East and accessed through Abia.

The whole south east and federal and private individual should come together to raise money for land reclamation in the atlantic ocean like palm island dubai.

On the island a Deep Seaport should be constructed. It should be the largest Seaport in Africa.

The Chinese are able to deliver such project as constructed in China

Connect it to main land via SUSPENSION BRIDGES. Cost is maybe 2 billion dollars but money well spent and we can raise that money for the project.

Politics › Re: Kanu: We’re More Nigerian Than Any Other Tribe- Ohaneze Ndigbo by hammerT: 10:01am On Feb 27, 2016
rusher14:

Actually the Nigerian Constitution doesn't mandate a turn by turn arrangement.

That was a PDP internal arrangement (laudable as it was), they didn't stick to it.

For now, many would be concerned about Igbo presidency as a result of this IPOB palaver.

Vice Presidency first perhaps and then with the general acceptance of oneness a shot at the top might be considered.

My opinion nevertheless.
Take all the time in the world, but dont take our will. My Opinion is igbo have a right to choose whether to continue with u or dump u.

Yorubas keep jumping up and down on igbo people thread and issues.

We have left u to satisfy yourself on nairaland whilst we satisfy ourself by action rather than words.

All road leads to Ala igbo. Nothing has changed and our demands for referendum remains supported by our actions not words.

Ohanaeze members represent themselves and can cut and change after envelop change hand but the people are resolute in their resolve.

If u doubt it go and ask the Military in the East the amount of people that come out to protest even at gun point with lives lost.

That is the voice of the people, a voice that cannot be silenced or ignored.

A voice capable of terminating the existence of Ohanaeze and Nigeria.

Ignore the voices of dissent by the people at your own peril.
Classic representation, Igbo has no King. We are democratic. On point!

Must everything always revolve around tribe? Is Oliseh's denial of being Igbo the sole reason for his failure? You want your right to self rule in the guise of Biafra to be established but can't respect Oliseh's choice of tribe?how pathetic. Everyone has a right to choose whatever they want.
if ur not igbo and crying here then u are a yoruba suffering from inferiority complex.

Wat we discuss here should not be an issue for you becos if not for the British u did be with Togo, Benin and Burkina faso by now. ss/se will be with southern cameroon.

some will claim nearness to raw materials, nearness to population and all that thrash as the reason. But check out Dubai - no raw materials and no large population - yet foreigners, including Nigerians, troop in there to buy and export back to their countries. Igbos have no excuse because they even have the internal population and nothing stops them from taking their finished products to other parts of Nigeria. Dangote has depots in Igboland but no factories. Why must Igbos build factories in Lagos and Kano, etc instead of depots?
I have come to the conclusion that wheneva they get wat they are looking for in those parts, i will be the last person to say a word unless they import the wahala to SS/SE.

how many times will something happen before people use their senses?

I doubt this has anything to do with Osu. There is no (or hardly any) Osu system in Abia State, yet Abians are not exempt from this stupidity of investing elsewhere
My brother, we have to tell them the truth, that they are daft.

I am tired of defending senselessness.
Politics › Re: See What This Igbo-American Top Shot Is Attracting To Nigeria by hammerT:
Let me just say one thing here since some of you are here.

All my major investment are in my village in the East. Not even Enugu, Onitsha or any other city but my village.

If any person that calls himself a man cannot understand that simple concept, then they are a child.

Secondly, as the politician state, your first duty is to yourself and constituency. Charity begins at home.

It is only our daft igbo people that i see trying very hard to please others and displease themselves.

Maybe it is the Osu Curse or they need special prayers.

I do not want to call Igbos stupid (because that would mean calling myself stupid), but why are some Igbos doing this to themselves?
Meanwhile Dangote would rather invest in Gambia, Tanzania than Igboland where he made so much money.

Sorry to say, Igbos are generally silly. Now i understand Y the ones in the East kidnap them, when they come for burial.

Igbos should be buried where dey die.

But she's not even your family, do you now want to hold her captive?

Stick with whatever you belief in and let her be.
After all, few ibo group has bini/yoruba link nah grin

So, pls easy and don't overwork yourself over something/issues that has little or not connection with you.

Isn't that simple ni undecided
Dude, I seriously dont care about her or her looks. She is a standard igbo girl, my wife is more beautiful than her but cannot put a pictre up for obvious reasons. If She married a white man, Ibibio, ijaw or Efik, i will not blink an eye. I just have a problem with Yorubas going to my land to get married.

U lost that privileged a long time ago and the fact u are accorded such is purely down to the ignorance and lack of knowledge amongst my people.

This is why we will double our effort and sink ship. Then we will rearrange and reorientate our people.

Making laws and reforming culture. We are held handcuff by Nigeria, just like Olisa and my generation will not take it one bit.

Our fathers are even much better than us becos they are calm but we are not.

The current Miss Anambra and the reigning MBGN Queen, Unoaku Anyadike is also Half Yoruba
Her Dad is Igbo from Anambra, while her mum is a beautiful Yoruba lady.

Don't mind all the Tribalists on this thread.
Love is indeed a good thing.
Thank you for proving our point becos from the moment they declared her Miss Anambra she looked foreign and not attractive.

Yorubas should stop corrupting our igbo gene.

Once again, what is your business with her choice of husband or her children, are you her father? or na you go raise her kids?
I'm sure even her father can't tell a modern exposed girl who has spent a lot of her time among civilized people on whom to marry

Ohh... Now I see I have been trying to talk sensibly with an IPOD tout.....lol

No one takes you lot serious man....
Nobody will tell her who to marry but it is a crime not to tell her who not to marry, and that is where igbo parents are failing whilst the hausa fulani and yorubas are passing.

Igbo parents hope your taking note becos u are failing with your daughters. Marriage to yorubas is a big NO!

And have u seen their siblings and children? Igbo kids never come out all one colour. U are not making a point, we are telling u to stop coming for wife from us that u brand enemy, we will bring down the zoo to ensure that we have all the power to fustrate u since u are adamant .

There are tons of Igbo guyz darker than this guy out there, and I am sure if she had gotten married to any one of them, you wouldn't be here spilling your bullcrap to an audience that does not give a flying f*ck.
Why are you concerned about her children, are they going to be yours?
U dont give a flying f**k but u quote me, just for my amusement do u mean this igbo type of chocolate that made a white baby? Have u seen Jim Iyke son? If that was AY the boy will be black. Stop admiring us, we are bored of it.

Love the way u guys preach and beg, but u know ur on borrowed time though? This right here will not work, unopposed as long as yoruba and hausa/fulani are not doing same. Every hausa fulani girl seems to know where dey come from wen it comes to marriage, similarly yoruba girls but igbo girls get lost. Always on heart feelings and heart break spere, dont even know if this one qualifies to be called igbo. The Trad was unnecessary.
